It was horrific. I had a water leak from my refrigerator while I was away and the property manager called in Servpro. They came and began clean-up but required a contract before they would begin. Since I wasn't there and I had a water problem, I complied. The contract had a date commitment of 15 days paid in total which was okay at the time. I was not given any estimate at the time that I signed the contract because it was a time sensitive issue (my water had to be turned off). It turned out that my insurance had lapsed and it wasn't covered. I told them that it would take a little more time to pay them off and they said that was unacceptable....They had charged me $3,000.00 for sweeping up one 8x8 room and bringing in five fans. I was blown away by the expense and told them to leave the condo immediately which they did. I sent them a check the first month, but they refused to cash it because it wasn't the total amount. The following month I sent them another check but by that time they had hired a lawyer to come after me with papers...Long story short, even after I pleaded with them to accept some sort of monthly payment they refused. The lawyer charged me another $3,000.00, so my total cost for a three day clean-up was over $6,000.00. I could have replaced the entire condo with new flooring for that. The judge ruled against me because I had signed the contract. The company sent five people to testify against me the day of the trial, the dim witted property manager, the woman who I spoke to the night of the call, two technicians and the owner of Servpro, Mitchell Rubin. Because I live in Palm Beach, I believe that I was discriminated against. I had a great deal of trouble coming up with the money for the expense and I have my condo on the market now. I cannot afford to live here because of this incident. Please relay my story and stay away from Servpro of Lake Worth/ Boynton Beach, they are dreadful people to do business with.

Everything was great. ServPro was completely professional, and it removed all of the room's furniture, removed all evidence of mold, and then laid new carpet. It also arranged to have the room repainted. Basically, it was in charge of the entire restoration.

This happened on a Sunday afternoon and they were able to come out very promptly within a half hour. The workers were very skilled and polite. They were also very clean and every time they were here they wore booties on their feet and did a good job of cleaning up. This work took about three to four weeks to complete as it was so extensive. I dealt with at least ten or twelve people but whenever they told me something would happen, it always did. From the office staff to the main supervisor, everyone was outstanding. They did a good job explaining things, and were very efficent - always working when they were here. I am a senior citizin and the spouse of a military personal and have dealt with a lot of companies throughout the years - this company by far stood out and was just outstanding.
