The installation years went well, no major problems with the unit. They are not very prompt with the service contract. You as a customer have to be pro-active to contact them or it would lapse. They do not call you to set this up. When you do schedule the appointment, they are good at keeping it. They do quality work

Everything went perfect. We still have a service contract with them as well. We are supplied with filters when needed. We purchased the units from them and had them install it. We looking for Carrier units and we were referred us to Sansone by some neighbors. They had exactly what we were looking for. The installation went fine. The company showed up to take care of any follow up issues. They even removed the old units and hauled them away. They are very responsive to anything we need. The units are guaranteed for 10 years. For the service contract, they call and confirm a good time to come out and do needed repairs. Overall, we have been pleased.
Description of Work: We had two new air conditioning systems from them.

I have used several them for several times and they always do a nice job. I contact them when it is time to have them do the work. The contract included standard unspections, tune ups and any needed repairs. I am very satisfied with their work with no problems.

They have done quite a bit of work for me. They have done a great job. They are very responsive to my calls. I recently used them because a compositor blew out on the unit. They sent out a technician within a few hours to come out and fix the issue. I have been very pleased with their service. I would recommend them to anyone. I feel like their pricing is competitive to other companies. When the technicians are here, they even wear shoe covers to keep my home clean. They seem to know what they are doing and are very professional.
Description of Work: They have installed a new A/C unit for me and also do the service. I have a maintenance contract with them where they come out twice a year to flush out the system to make sure it is running properly.

The service the performed was good, but lacked needed follow up. We had a contract with them for them to come out in the spring. They failed to call to make an appointment to do the work and then the contract expired. They called us every other time in the past and they tried to put the blame on us. We ended up having to replace an expensive part of unit because of this. I would not use them again.

I apologize if you felt "blamed", that is never our goal. I show you had to replace your evaporator fan motor, which probably was not caused because the maintenance was late. Unfortunately, parts do fail and sometimes they can be rather expensive. We recommend our Sansone service contracts or manufacturer extended warranties to protect you from these costly repairs. As far as the maintenance scheduling goes, we have recently hired additional office staff to make sure the maintenances are done efficiently. We will also be sending mailers when maintenances are due to remind our customers, in addition to our normal phone call reminders. Please let us know if we can help in any way. I have an a/c maintenance contract with Sansone. They are supposed to come out every six months to perform preventative maintenance. They don't proactively call to schedule the maintenance, so if you don't call them, they don't come out. On this last instance, I called them a week before the six month period was up and they tried to schedule me two months later saying that my deal was for "2 times a year", not "every six months". Then they also said the summer was their busy time and that's why they couldn't come out on a timely basis. This will result in me not getting preventative maintenance on a timely basis and will also ultimately result in me getting less for my money because the time part of the contract expands but the number of service visits does not.
Description of Work: The provider isn't making service calls on a regular basis.

I have a freon pipe that's in a hard to reach crawl space. The insulation on the pipe had started to crack and condensation began to form causing a wet spot on the drywall below. I had had two other A/C companies out to attempt to repair the insulation and stop the condensation, but they both failed. Sansone took the time necessary to study the problem and then reinsulate the entire pipe despite the very close quarters of the crawl space. It's now almost 6 months later and the condensation problem has not returned. I'd definitely use these guys again.

The sales person came for an estimate and gave me a detail explanation about the different models offered. After I gave the "ok" to perform the work the technicians that came to install the unit were very professional and knowledgable. They answered every question I had (I like to watch installations and understand what is going on to my house). Both inside and outside unit were installed and after everything was finished the technician took time to explain the climate control. There was a whole that leaked air in the side of my a/c "closet". The technician patched it up for me to prevent temperature and air leaks. Now I have a maintenance contract with them and they come promptly every appoinment. I would use again.

I think I want to go with a smaller company but they seemed very good; just by the estimate. The experience was very good. Clark, the sales consultant was very nice, informative and detail oriented. They give three estimates and offer different models. They gave me the rebates and did a computerized read-out right in my home; he takes pictures and everything. They seemed really competent. He was here on time.

What was meant to be a one-day install for two systems turned into two separate days because the installers brought the wrong brand air purifier that was different from the original quote and order. Sansone did not have the correct Carrier Infinity air purifier in stock so they had to back order with delivery scheduled in three days. This caused some inconvenience as I had to schedule another installation date for the second ac system, which is why I gave them a C for Responsiveness. All other service criteria was excellent. Installers on both days were on-time, early start, very professional and knowledgable. I was also impressed with the detailed verbal briefing and instructions after installation of each system was finished on how to operate the systems. The Carrier Infinity series is the top-of-the-line model that is performing to high expections. Follow-up by Sansone post installation was also very good. They arranged and scheduled both the Parkland City inspector and FPL inspector to visit and sign-off the job. I didn't have to do anything. Nice.... I had asked three a/c installers for quotes and Sansone seemed to be the most knowledgeable on Carrier a/c systems, most responsive to my needs, and also the best pricing and value. I recommend Sansone for Carrier home ac system replacement
Description of Work: Installation to replace aging two air-conditioning systems in a 2-storey single family home with high efficiency Carrier Infinity systems. Installed a 4-ton Carrier 18 SEER Infinity and 3 ton 19.5 SEER Infinity systems and a Carrier Infinity air purifier. As part of the install, Sansone also arranged all required permits and Florida Power and Light rebates, removed existing equipment, installed condenser strapping, emergency shut down float switches, metal air handler stands, galvanized drain pans, locking condensers valve caps, and inspected and sealed ductwork as per code.

Last summer when my ac system started going on the fritz and my electric bills started creeping up to the $300 mark for a 1,200 square foot home, I knew it was time to replace the 12 year old ac system. I called several companies for estimates. Ultimately, I decided to go with Sansone Air Conditioning because I had used them in the past for routine ac service, electrical box repair, and duct work repair with good results. The salesperson arrived on time, was courteous and very knowledgeable about the company's line of ac products. He made reasonable recommendations for replacing my interior and exterior unit. I decided to buy the Carrier 24ACB724 paired with the Carrier FV4CNF002. I was able to get a Saturday appointment for the installation. The technicians arrived on time and got right to work installing the new system. The technicians were professional and courteous. Once the unit was installed, the lead technician walked me completely through using the system. Afterwards, the technicians cleaned up after themselves and hauled the old equipment away. The new ac system easily passed its permit inspection. The new ac system has been operating beautifully for a little over six months. My $300 Summer electric bills went down to about $120 per month. My Winter electric bills are about $70 per month. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, the ac system, and the savings on my electric bill. I would highly recommend Sansone Air Condition for your ac service and repair needs.

I had been recommended to them by the manufacturer. I had called them to get a second opinion on something they did work for my conditioning but then I finally went back to my original provider. They did not do their job and they were charging twice as much. When they came in, they were very knowledgeable, they came at the right time, they did what they said they were going to do, I had no problems with them on that account. The only problems I had was to get the big job of piping done, and I wanted them to do it actually. When I talked to the senior executive there he said that they couldn't really do anything more about it.
Description of Work: I have used 'Sansone Air Conditioning'. I needed new piping I had leak of Freon gas I have fairly new air conditioner of 2010 so I wanted to make sure that was not decayed. I had them come out and they kind of confirmed after putting some kind of sealant in and they said that, that would stop the leakage but then in the end it didn't really stop the leak; so I had to get the piping replaced.

This is actually the second house they've installed AC for me. My first house was done 13 years ago. We had issues with the unit because my dryer vent was blowing lent directly on it. They used the manufacturer's warranty to cover the repair and I moved the dryer vent away from the unit. The work was always done well and never any mess left behind. My second was larger and requried two units. We went with the trane variable speed units again. My husband had changed out the thermostat to a 7 day programmable one he bought at HD. When they came back for my 6 month check-up, they noticed that the thermostat was not working with the variable speed functionality. The tech showed me and suggested replacement models that they could install or I could get on my own. We purchased the suggested module and now the AC unit works perfectly. I also have custom size filter's because of the way the house was designed and they supply those for me as well. Happy customer for 13 years!
Description of Work: Replaced one AC unit with TRANE variable speed in first house in 2010. Replace two AC units with high end TRANE variable speed units in second house.

We had very specific requirements for a non-toxic environment in our house, which meant no fiberglass whatsoever. This baffled Sansone completely, as they had not encountered this before (even though they've been in business since 1946!). We had to coach them through metal ductwork installation and insulation using non-toxic materials.

We have no problem using alternative materials & have installed numerous metal duct systems in the past, even though this is not common in residential homes today. We try to weigh the pros/cons of different duct system options with our customers and give all options available for your consideration. As you know the metal duct systems have no fibers, but can be noisier & more expensive compared to flex duct systems, hence the decline in popularity. I called them and I was actually going to go down there and have a talk with them. I had five or six different people give me estimates and Sansone Corp was one of them. I picked them because they had got an award for the carrier. And they seemed to, I went in and I looked some reviews up and I know there were some problems but they seemed to have corrected those problems so I kind of went with them. There were other people that I didn't like the reviews on them so I stayed away from them. But, what I didn't like was, when the salesman came and we went over the contract and he gave me the price, I asked him if that includes the permit and he said that it does. And then he came back and there were some more papers to sign and when I asked what those were for, he mentioned some sort of name of a permit. He said they may come or they may not come. In other words, what they do is, they supposedly go and tell the building department that they are putting an air conditioner. The permit has to be paid for, but I don't think that they pay for it or maybe they pay $50. I don't know. I said I don't want that. I want them to come out and check my air conditioner and the salesman said that would be an additional $100. And I thought for a minute and I gave him a check for $100 and then he gave me a whole list of people to call the first thirty days if I don't get any response. So I waited about a week and I called this person who handles the building permits and I asked him how things were going with my building permit and he said he will call me back. He never called me back. I called again and got another woman and said she'll check into it and call me back but never called back. Meantime, I gave them $90 for filters. I called this lady, Mary, to find out what happened to my filters and she can't find the check; somebody who handles the checks has gone on vacation and she'll get back to me. So I called her a day or so later and asked what happened and she said she had told me that she'll get back to me when she finds the check. I said I had a $90 check outstanding and I need to know where that check is. Finally, I got aggravated and I told them I waited for thirty days, and I called the main manager to make an appointment to come down and see him. He asked what it is about and I said I really wanted to come down and see him because they have a serious customer service problem going down there. Nobody returns a phone call and that is the number one red flag in my book. The manager apologized, he took care of everything and caught me on the filters which were late. There were problems, but in the end they corrected it.

I apologize for the issues you had with your new system. The Palm Beach permit process can certainly be confusing & I can definitely respect your concerns. Most customers in unincorporated Palm Beach choose to use the decal program where the County performs inspections at random (about 1 in every 20). Some customers such as yourself, choose to make the city come out and perform the inspection. The County of course charges us more for this since they incur additional labor & understandably those charges (the $100) we passed on to the customer. I wish we could mandate this and control the cost, but unfortunately we are at the County's mercy in regards to mechanical building permits. I won't make any excuses for the filters, the order was misplaced, our fault completely. I believe I gave you the filters complimentary because of this, which you deserved and I believe shows we are willing to stand by our work. We have used Sansone for about 15 years and this is the second a/c unit purchased and installed by them at our home. After contemplating buying a more efficient a/c unit because ours was 6 yrs old and having some problems, we asked Sansone to provide their expertise and quote a few choices for us to consider because they had serviced the older unit and were familiar with the problem areas, one of which was the pitch of the drain put in when our Forest Ridge home was built in 1989. It periodically backed up and my husband needed to clear it sometimes twice a year. When the new unit was chosen (the more expensive of the choices! We wanted quality, efficiency and longevity) it was installed 2/24/2012. The unit quit working Sat. 5/5/2012. A tech came out Sun 5/6 and got it started but Sun. night it quit again. Another tech, Jason came out 5/7 & found it to be a thermostat problem. He fixed it & we were good to go. He also suggested we get special custom filters which were ordered & I paid $116 for them on that service ticket.On Sunday 6/11, again, no a/c. Jason, their tech came out & said it was a clogged drain line the new unit had an automatic shut off when that happened therefore no a/c until it was cleaned out by him. After telling him Sansone has always been aware of this problem & we were very explicit telling them we wanted the drain issue to be corrected when the new system was put in we were assured everything would be perfectly installed. He was also informed that our custom filters that were ordered and paid for 5/7 hadn't yet been received. He noted on the work order that his manager, Anthony needed to call me. NO RETURN PHONE CALL from Anthony.I called Sansone 7/26 to speak to Bonnie the service manager but talked to Gail. She heard my complaint that I still hadn't received the filters & my calls weren't being returned. I felt some accomodation should be made. She promised to check into the situation &call me back. She did & offered to send a coupon for a free service tune up. (Remember, this unit is only 5 months old & still under warranty) I received the filters within 10 days and a coupon for the tune up.Which brings me to this weekend. My husband is out of town, it's Labor Day weekend and he's returning Monday and I have no a/cWhen I called 9/1 to report the problem , I was told there would be a service charge of $141.95 because it was a holiday. If waited until Tues. they would come out at no charge. I'm working Mon. morn and they are expected in the afternoon. CAN YOU HELP ME?????
Description of Work: How does a company go from an A rating to F?? I'll tell you. After installing a new $7300.00 Carrier 5 ton 17seer a/c unit in Feb., Sansone was called back monthly when the unit quit cooling - mostly on weekends, when we had company or holidays like this weekend -Labor Day 2012.

Member: We really apologize for the issues you had with your new system. I show that it looks like the majority of the issues were with the existing drain line, which does happen from time to time. Algae tends to get stuck in the drain and sometimes wedges so tightly that it creates these back ups. The good news is the unit turned off like it is supposed to before a water leak occurred. I can certainly understand your frustration though and of course it never fails that it breaks on the worst days! From what I show, I believe the issue is now resolved. If you should have a problem again, please call and we would be happy to send the service supervisor and/or service manager to your home to make sure we are doing all we can so this does not happen more than normal.
