The people who helped pack and ship in Lake Worth, Florida and took my belongings away seemed professional and capable. The subcontractor Ex Jxx LLC in New Jersey that they used for delivery to me in Jersey and Pennsylvania was disorganized and guys were threatening. Safebound had thirty days to make the delivery and just came in a few days before the deadline. When I called customer service during the waiting period, I was told to keep calling back. There was confusion regarding info on accepted payment options on delivery receiving conflicting info from driver office. No warning they were coming when they finally came. Received a call late the night before. I was shorted boxes on both location deliveries. At this point, I am still missing one box which now I must complete a claims process. A stressful unhappy experience!!!

I was very disappointed with Safebound. After receiving an estimate from them, they subcontracted to a mover who picked up our furniture on our date and the contract said they would deliver to the new address no later than the following Saturday. My sister and I hurried to finish so that we could drive to MD to meet the delivery truck on Friday, in case they were early. They did not show up on Friday or Saturday and gave us no clue as to their schedule. After several calls, I was told that the truck had been unloaded in MA and they were waiting for a new truck to drive the load to Maryland. A new moving company was taking over. When I mentioned the no later than date in our contract, I was told that if I wanted a guaranteed date, I needed to pay an extra fee. The original estimate for the move had been increased by almost 75% even though we added only 30% (mostly boxes). They added a fuel and cu. ft. surcharge as well. The new mover arrived 6 days late. Items were damaged too.

This company will not do the job you pay them to do. If youâ re thinking about using this company just look at the damage they have caused in the to many to count 1 star reviews. This company broke and straight up lost over $2,000 worth of my personal items. They were 6 hours late to pick up and I had to ask them to not slide furniture across my wood floors. I was told my $1,000 grill that was dropped would be fully replaced by the mover but when I spoke to the GM they said they would not honor that promise but would try. They then dragged out the promise of a replacement for 2 months and then offered me a small amount of money compared to what they broke or lost to not write negative reviews. Future customers deserve to know to stay away from this incompetent and dishonest company if you value your items.

For interstate moves, having a 1. Full-service 2. Full-truck solution is the way to go. This is so that the movers on both ends and the drivers are all one crew and the delivery window is very tight.
