Safebound Moving & Storage

To all potential customers of Safebound, beware: this company is a complete scam. At first, they lure you in with a decent quote compared to others, and you fall for it, just like I did. But then, right in the middle of your move, they demand an extra $600. Then, they drive off in the opposite direction with all your furniture. This company shouldn't even have a license; itâ  s a disgrace and a prime example of outright racketeering. Without any exaggeration, I've never experienced anything so outrageous. To make matters worse, two of my finest paintings were torn. Itâ  s hard to imagine a worse scenario. Avoid Safebound at all costs!

Moving is never fun, but Safebound did everything they could to make it as painless as possible. From the initial consultation where the account manager (wish I remembered their name!) patiently explained all my options to the actual move day where the crew hustled like champions, Safebound impressed me every step of the way. The most courteous movers Iâ ve ever encountered. And Iâ ve moved a lot and used a lot of different companies. My move from Orlando to Delray was so easy thanks to Safebound. Highly recommended!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Their slick,but very experienced salesman of 20 years,Patric ,sent a BINDING ESTIMATE for my move after doing a complete and thorough Face Time walk through with my real estate broker, for 750 Cu.ft.of contents of my apartment.The price to North Carolina was 4311.13.It was the cheapest estimate I received. On Move day the foreman arrived at my apartment and told me that Patric's BINDING ESTIMATE was off by 450 cu.ft.The new price was 6324.11. When I complained to the manager his response was"we will take only 750 cu.ft. at the original price" and leave 400 cu. ft. behind.Apparently the BINDING ESTIMATE is only binding on the customer and can be changed by the company when they show up to move and you have no other options. THIS COMPANY CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.STAY AWAY.

I chose SafeBound because they were the most responsive in the sales process and they were the only ones who insisted on doing a video walkthrough before providing an estimate. Unfortunately, after signing the contract, my sales representative became completely unresponsive, ignoring several emails and phone calls. Additionally, he outright lied to me when he told me that SafeBound would be performing the move and that it would not be subcontracted to another company. Unfortunately, it was, and that company ended up being a nightmare to work with. I would have rather paid more to work with an honest company that communicates.

Moving across states, I was bracing for the worst but hoped for the best. This moving team delivered the best. Their attention to detail, from securely wrapping each piece of furniture to carefully loading the truck, was impeccable. They planned the route with precision, avoiding any delays, and communicated regularly, keeping me informed and reassured throughout the journey.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They are brokers not movers. They do not move anything themselves. They hire unlicensed outside vendors. The broke nearly every piece of furniture in my move. Over $5000 in damage and then they had the nerve to offer $96. Absolutely horrible horrible HORRIBLE with a capital H. Stay as far away as you can. If I could give less than zero stars I would.
