Gary has fair carpentry skills. The door casing did not match up in one corner and had to be trimmed. The baseboard installation was very good except for a small sliver next to the door casing. The tiny piece he put in there does not fill the space. He brought an assistant to fill nail holes and caulk. I repeatedly brought it to Gary's attention that his helper was VERY sloppy. Gary went ahead and painted over the sloppy work. My new casing looked old and beat up. Gary blamed his helper, yet Gary painted over the messy prep work and applied the paint poorly so he cannot blame anyone else for the poor outcome. Gary painted the baseboard and did a terrible job. I prepared for him by having the room freshly painted before he arrived. He painted erratically along the baseboard and onto the wall as much as 2 inches. He used the same paint as used by the previous painter on the doors and casing of the same bedroom. He blamed the Behrs oil paint for "dragging" and stated "I like Benny Moore". I paid him in full for the job, $300, basically $3/ft to install and paint baseboard and $2/ft for casing, plus painting the door and incidentals. Gary recognized the messy work and offered to return the following afternoon to fix it. Instead, he arrived the next morning as we were leaving the house for an appointment. He said he would not be available again for quite a while. I had to hire a professional painter who came and fixed Gary's mess. The pro painter had no problem whatsoever with the same paint I provided Gary. His carpentry skills are fair but his painting skills are far from what he claims.

Gary was on time everyday, he finished the work one day sooner the he estimated. the quality and craftsmanship is exceptional. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone.

I hired Mr. Gary Rosenbaum of Rosenbaum Construction to remodel my condominium. He showed up on time every day and completed the job in a timely manner. He did the job for the quoted price. I hired Gary to remodel an apartment. The next time I am remodeling anything I hope Gary is available as I like having him work for me. He is not a big company but I feel he is honest and does a good job. It is evident he knows what he is doing. And I feel he does not charge too much.
