Reliable Movers

Do Not Do Not Use them. They are a scam. I was quoted a few of $900 and they came and took 4 hrs to load and left and called me to say my total was now 6K and would not give me my things u til I paid. Granted there contract says 70% is due at pickup and if price is revised it is to be negotiated before leaving. I paid them the 70% of the 900 and they left without saying anything about a price adjustment and on top of that they did not load all the agreed upon items thankfully. Now they are making threatening phone calls to make my pay them which I am refusing so court here I go

I hired Reliable Moving in July to pack and move my home. The owner Robert Rahrle seemed very professional and trustworthy. His men did show up and worked very hard to get the job done. At first I was very pleased. But the day after the move I was contacted by the management of my Condo. There had been considerable damage done to the walls in the hallways of the building I moved into. I had paid a damage deposit of $750. To the Moorings condo association. They informed me it not going to be returned due to the damage caused by my moving Company. They sent me pictures of this damage. I contacted Mr. Rahrle to inform him of this damage and sent him the pictures. He informed me that he would turn it over to his insurance company and would get back to me. I also let him know that I had found considerable damage to several pieces of furniture. He said to send pictures and he would take care of it. I have tried to contact him numerous times to find out what was going to be done about the cost of the damage his men had caused. He has not responded to any of my calls, texts or emails. I gave his company an outstanding review the day after the move. This was before I was informed about all the damage to the walls of the building or before I had really had a chance to check over all my furniture. I had tipped his crew very well on the night of the move and was informed I had to pay them in cash for the move before they could unload my belongings. I feel, being a disabled person, and being alone, they took great advantage of me. It is the end of October and I have yet to here anything from Mr. Robert Rahrle. Or Reliable moving. I caution anyone considering this company to beware of Mr. Rahrle and Reliable Movers. They are dishonest and careless. I thought using Angie’s List would be a way to find good and reliable services. It had cost me much grief and anguish over this move. Also the loss of $750.00. I hope you can find my review or at least look into this matter and help me warn others of my experience with the horrid service.

They did a great job. They were reasonably price. They were on time, they were very nice, and did everything I wanted them to do.
