It went great. Our office looks new again, no nicks, gouges or scratches on the wood doors and trim. He works evenings or weekends to accommodate the office hours and not disrupt the flow in the office. He is considerate, working will with everyone particularly if they are sensitive to chemical smells.

Friendly and very competent. For one repair he called the manufacturer to get information regarding original construction. All repairs, large and small, were done very well and were satisfactory. This is a workman truly worthy of his hire. We would call on him for any such work in the future.

He came to the house and removed the part of the harpsichord lid with the damage. He took it to his shop and brought it back a little over a week later, and it is virtually impossible to tell where the damage was. The repair is really amazing! Some movers recently dropped and damaged another of my instruments, and Frederic will be called in for that projects as well.

I initially emailed the owner of this company who responded back in a timely manner. Called on the number he provided and, was asked to contact him the following week to set up an appointment. I left a voice mail message and have not heard back through email correspondence or telephone. I have elected to go with another company.

He is very nice and very knowledgeable. He will tell you straight up what needs to be done with your project.

Frederic did everything he said he would do, and did it when he said he would. The work is beautifully done, and it's obvious that Frederic is knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work. We would be pleased to have him as a guest in our home, and would definitely recommend him for repair work on any type of furniture. He was careful to not damage anything when he had to move items in order to do his work, and left our home at least as clean as he found it. Because our moving company was paying for the repairs we can't judge whether or not his prices are competitive, but our impression is that a client can expect fair pricing in addition to highly professional work. we will definitely keep his card on file in the event we need other work done in the future.

My husband and I cannot say enough about Frederic at Rare Repair (RareRepair.com) in West Palm Beach. Frederic is a long-standing member of the community and is well known throughout the antique district . Our beloved cherry dining table (part of a suite that cannot be replaced) was badly damaged when we moved to Jupiter from North Florida. We were told by an insurance appraiser that the table was a total loss. What happened was that the movers accidentally screwed all the screws which affixed the top to the base right through the tabletop. It was really a disaster for us. Through a friend we became acquainted with Frederic who several days repairing and refinishing our table, filling the holes and restoring an amazing finish that matched the leaves and all the other pieces. His techniques go beyond excellent refinishing techniques... he is an artisan and someone to whom we will be forever grateful.
