We have been using Pro-Tech for over 9 year and would not think of using anyone else. We use him both for our home and office units. When Ed knows it's the office unit he does whatever it takes to get to us quickly so that our patients don't have to sit in a hot doctors office. As for the house unit, we have left him the key so he does not have to work around our crazy schedule. You know that classic Angie's List commercial where the review shows the contractor walking her dog? Well Ed has never walked our dogs but they do love him. Great service, fair price, and they don't come any more honest than Ed.

Inconsistent service, do NOT use! Worst customer service ever! I first used Ed Weiner from Pro Tech in May 2014 to replace the air compressor in my AC. He was pleasant, polite and seemed to really care that my tenants were stuck in a hot South Florida house without AC and got the job done in a timely manner. When the AC started acting up again right before Thanksgiving 2014 I called Ed. He said he was on a job all day but would schedule a time directly with my tenant to check out the AC that Friday, no problem. I called Friday morning to follow up and confirm that he had been able to reach my tenant and schedule a time. I don't know if he was in a bad mood or if it was a bad time but he was beyond rude and acted like I was insane for following up. After a very uncomfortable call, during which I asked if it was a bad time, he said no but it clearly was, he said he would call my tenants later to set something up for that afternoon. Later that day my tenant informed me that Ed would be stopping by in the afternoon. Ed never showed up. My tenant called him and didn't receive a response. That's the last I heard from Ed at Pro Tech.

Arrived on time, kept workspace neat. Major installation completed in one day. We were never without central air. Inspector found that the installation was compliant, no remediation needed. Ed Wiener, owner, always polite and considerate.
