I originally called my regular service company to come out and look at my ac and they told me I had a bad compressor and should replace my 7 year old system. I called Prestige for a 2nd opinion, and they said my compressor was not the problem. They also told me that my system was still under the manufacturers warranty. They repaired my system for under $300. I will definitely be calling them if I have a problem in the future.

These people installed a brand new AC unit and airhandler in my home a while back. First they di not connect the heater wires and tried to charge me additional money to come connect them and did not install the platform beneath the air handler where the filter should be placed. They charged me an exorbitant amount and did not replace the pipes or insulation on the outside AC unit connectors. They were very rude on the phone when I called about the heater wires and about the platform they NEVER installed. I would never recommend these people and will NEVER use their services again in my life.

My technician was very efficient and respectful. Wonderful company and I’ve used them for years! Never a complaint!

The day after we got electricity back on after Hurricane Irma we were welcomed with an air conditioner that would not cool. Prestige arrived a few hours after calling them on a busy Sunday and quickly assessed the problem. By Monday morning comfort had returned. Although I expect every A/C company to show up and say the same thing "It'll cost $9,000 and 4 weeks to fix or we can sell you a new unit." In this case the unit was installed 14 years ago and it was truly time to move on. Prestige gave me a great price on a unit and got it installed right away. The workers were professional and it was obvious they took pride in their work and respected the company and owner. As a nice bonus, the new unit also came with a free preventive maintenance visit within the first year. I definitely recommend them and would use them again.

It was very hot and I was grateful that they were able to get the unit in the next morning. The work was professionally and the price was fair.

Perfection. My AC began to die over Memorial Day weekend. The company was responsive even though they were slammed over the weekend. They helped me to choose the right AC for my house, with no attempt to upsell. Made several trips to replace refrigerant that was leaking to keep me going for the few days until they could install, and they only charged me for the refrigerant. They gave me a very good price on the unit. The installers were very professional, went above and beyond. Every person I dealt with was courteous and helpful. I love the unit, perfect size for my house.

They put in a whole new unit for me a two or three years ago and I have been happy with them ever since. They spent a lot of time. They did a lot of stuff and at very reasonable prices. Excellent personality with the worker. They seemed very thorough. I was very happy with them. I have never been disappointed with this company. They have been very good. I don't see any reason to change.

They are super. They are very conscientious and friendly. I have never been disappointed in what they have done. That has been a good one for me. The service has been very good. They have excellent people that come. They are great communicators. They let us know what is going on. I have been very pleased with the quality of what they do. I thought the installation was very good. I got a very good price for that. They sell us this contract where they come twice a year just to inspect things. I think that was like about 120 bucks for the year. I thought that was a little steep, but I did have some problems when they came and they just took care of that at the same time. So, I thought that was fair enough.

Walter and Chris were here today to do the install. They arrived on time, did a very clean install with everything nicely lined up and tightly tied down and left four hours later leaving a very satisfied customer. No drama. Just a solid professional performance. So glad I found Prestige! Oh and BTW they were were the lowest cost bidder of the four companies I got estimates from.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TECHNICIANS. THEY TOLD MY HUSBAND TO KEEP CHECKING THE SPLIT?????? REALLY????? THIS UNIT IS THE 2ND ONE WE HAVE HAD TO PURCHASE FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. I WOULD NEVER, NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORST ENEMY. THE "SUPPOSED" TECHNICIAN HAD TO PUT FREON IN ON A 1 YEAR OLD UNIT?????? THERE MUST BE A LEAK HE SAYS.....WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER TO TRY & CHECK IT. THEY SAID THAT LAST YEAR. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY............BUYER BEWARE............HOW UNPROFESSIONAL..........EACH TIME THEY CHARGED US PLENTY. MY GUESS IS THAT THEY "REFURBISH" A/C UNITS AND PASS THEM OFF TO UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS AS BEING BRAND NEW.

Their professionalism on the phone and the courtesy of the first service call to our home lead us to hire them to install our new unit. I checked out their web-page which was also very professional. Also, Prestige came highly recommended from a Property Manager in Boca Raton, Florida, whom I trust implicitly. My husband and I were most satisfied and intend to buy their yearly maintenance plan as well.

I have used this company before and they have made my wife and I very happy with the service they provide. I find it truly refreshing that this is the 3rd time I've used this company and each time it is consistently superior workmanship. Even the city inspector commented on the high caliber of the company.

Couldn't have been better. We literally had 11 estimates because of the particular units we wanted was the best units money could buy. Prestige Air Conditioning had the best price, and great reviews online, and didn't require us to give them a deposit; we paid when the job was completed. I can't say enough about this company. They had 4 guys here all day, and both the units work perfect.

2nd time I have used Prestige and all went smooth and easy. Very professional company in every aspect.

It has been a terrible experience. The installation took 2 days and a new part needed ordered right away to get it working. There have been multiple visits for issues with things not working and what the last tech, a Prestige employee, called "a bad installation". The company manager does not accept responsibility. Amber, who states she runs the company, refuses to let me speak with the owner. There are many documented issues which I intend to pursue with regulatory agencies so others do not have our same experience. One big issue. They did not submit the permit paperwork as they stated. We inquired about the permit multiple times and were told it was taken care of. When I finally asked after months, how we knew it was taken care of, I was told again not to worry about it, the company always handles that. They said the decal was on the upstairs air handler-I guess knowing I was not going to up in the attic space to look. Long story short, when I contacted the county to get a straight answer on how I knew for sure the permit was complete, there was no paperwork found. It had not been submitted by Prestige. The county also informed me that a decal would have been placed on both the air handler and the condenser, Not one Prestige employee that we asked about the permit over 6 months offered this information. Because the decal wasn't there!!! They never even called to say the county had contacted them and were now in the process of submitting. The AC broke again and we placed a service call. At that time I rechecked with the county and found it now had paperwork and a county inspection would be scheduled. Prestige came and fixed the air conditioner again today. When we discussed the multiple problems we were having, the tech again said it was a bad installation but nothing he could do about it. I asked who owned the company he said he didn't know. Because I had done my homework, I told him the name and then he "remembered". He called me later to tell me "they" decided they would re-install the air handler to make it "right". I had to make a decision "right now" or the offer would be no good. Trust being a real issue at this point I declined making an immediate decision. I figured it might be better to let the county have a look before changing anything else out. 5 mins later Amber finally became available after not returning my calls, and offered to change out the unit and extend the service contract . She again assured me she ran the company, Scott-if he is real-is not available. I told her we had lost confidence in her company and suggested she come remove her unit and we would start all over with another company. She said she would be glad to charge us for the removal and take care of it. I will follow up with necessary agencies to hold this company accountable. Update: There were 6 code violations!

I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy, they're a bunch of crooks because they told us we needed $2000.00 for the repair on an air conditioning system and after we bought a new one from them which I think is probably a bogus thing also. We had somebody else tell us that there was nothing wrong with the air conditioner. It was horrible. They worked on the one in the house and stole some things from us. They were just awful people. They were using my husband's bathroom and he had an expensive electric razor but they stole it. They sold us things we didn't need and then the owner says, "I'm a retired policeman." They still own the place because I called not too long ago to report them to the Business Bureau and I gave them my name and address but actually the house is sold and they said, "Oh, we can't come to your house. We can't come to that address." So they know that we know about them. The original owner of the company who installed the system in that house sold to this retired policeman. So if they ever call wanting to be put on the list, it would be a crime because we trust Angie's List. The owner installed a unit that now we know didn't even need to be installed. We had another unit, a 4-ton unit and they told us that it needed parts and if we didn't get the parts right then and there, we wouldn't get them anymore and they wouldn't be available. My husband have little suspicions so he called another company. They came out and said, "There is nothing wrong with your air conditioner." I was so afraid of them. They were so awful that I wouldn't report them while we were living in the house because we had a unit outside and I thought they would come and do something terrible with it. That's the kind of people they are. He's a strict salesman underneath and he's say, "Oh, this unit is old, the spray on is going out, it's gotta go and we're replacing it with a new kind of gas. You're running out of these old compressors which you can get if you want to hurry." It's like a real rush.

They were professional and they did exactly what they promised. They finished the job quickly and at a great price.

Techicians are friendly, professional and prompt. The office staff are friendly and professional. I would recommend this company for service work or to purchase a new unit.

One of the machines is called an air handler. I don't know if that's the one that is outside or inside. We have the big fan that moves the air placed outside and there are 2 big pieces. I found Prestige in our phone book and I just got lucky. Our air-conditioner broke down on a Friday afternoon and even though it was November, it was quite warm here in South Florida. The gentleman came later in the afternoon around 5 o'clock. He measured everything, checked out the old air-conditioner and told us that the motor had burnt out. We wondered what the smoky smell was. He replaced both the outside and the inside pieces. They came out even though it was at the end of their day to see if they could fix it to make it last through the weekend. Of course they couldn't with the motor being burnt up. They measured everything square footage to the house and let us know what was available that they had that they could bring out the next Monday. They gave us the Florida break. It was like a rebate, the max p&l, for putting in a new A/C. He made sure we had the paperwork for that and gave it to us right on the billing. A crew of people came the next Monday and took all the old stuff out and put in the new stuff. They completed the work in 2 hours and we had A/C.
