Description of Work: Through incompetent use of chemicals, they destroyed my pool heater and refused to pay for the damages (~$5000). They then threatened to sue to recover fees that I refused to pay because of the damage.

Description of Work: I saw this company on Angie s list and expected professional and reasonable service. My previous pool company must have gone out of business and hadn t shown up to clean the pool in 3 weeks, despite repeated messages. I asked for an estimate to return the pool to clear since it was a light to medium green after 3 weeks, and then for weekly pool service. My jaw dropped when the bill for pool clean up was 325.00- slightly less than after the last hurricane when much of my yard was in the pool. Thankfully , I found M and M Pools who charged 40 dollars for the clean up and then a reasonable rate for weekly service. These are ethical business owners who,unlike the Pool Doctors, do not try to take advantage of homeowners with outrageous charges. Do not give this business your business!

Description of Work: Has cleaned our small pool on a weekly basis for a little more than a year. Has a key to get into the property when we are away. Punctual and professional. No problems. I wonder about the cost — $20/wk — as the pool is very small and takes about 10 minutes to clean, but I have been told that the fee is not excessive in Jupiter. I would do it myself but am away too much.

Description of Work: New homeowners and pool owners. When we moved in the pool had not been maintained and was in poor condition. Pool Doctor cleaned and prepared our pool for use. Gave us good information on pool maintenance and costs involved. Advised we not replace a broken pool heater and did not pressure us to buy an new one unlike every other contractor we spoke with. Gave us a great deal on regular weekly pool service contract.

+ -1 moreThis was a small residential pool area. They took care of the sub contracting and the work. Everyone did a great job. They were easy to work with, there were no problems. The owner supervised the project and made sure everything went smoothly. The end result is beautiful, and it is well worth the money we spent. I would highly recommend them. I also have hired them to service the pool because they are so easy to work with.
Description of Work: I hired Pool Doctors of the Palm Beaches to resurface my pool, replace the tiles, service the pumps and pipes. They also resurfaced the deck and replace the lights.

+ -1 moreThe man did a good job. I paid him in full when he did the work. They called me a month later and said I stilled owed money. I told them that I already paid so they didn't make me pay anymore. They were about $800 less than another quote I got. The work was done fine originally but it has since deteriorated.
Description of Work: He fixed the tiles around the outside of my pool.

+ -1 moreHad four bids from various companies to resurface my faded pool and spa surfaces. The Pool Doctor of the Palm Beaches was a little high, but Mr. John Hamil appeared more trustworthy than the others, and he was definitely the right choice for me.
