Suzanne Downs the owner of Palm Beach Mortgage Group is 1 of 2 people that does not know how to return phone calls and is disrespectful to her clientele. Suzanne Downs sent this generic e-mail below after we tried calling her many times by phone: Hey! I just left you a voicemail and wanted to follow up with a quick email. I was looking forward to speaking with you to catch up for a few minutes and thank you again for entrusting in me with your mortgage needs and see how things are going! I hope to find you well and wish you a very Happy New Year ahead! Sincerely, Suzanne Downs President Palm Beach Mortgage Group How cold and impersonal can you be as the owner of a company to send this e-mail and she did NOT return a personal phone call as a professional would do? She did not leave a voicemail by the way and instead sent this heartless e-mail. The other person and more disrespectful is Jessica Gulbrand (Loan Processor to Suzanne Downs and was our Loan Originator) who took over 4 months to refi our home before she gave us the letter of denial from the lender. She could have prevented this denial by taking the extra time to communicate with us but chose to let her assistant be the henchman to give us the bad news. Jessica could not even take the time to talk to us personally with a phone call. This is no way to run a business. My wife and I were needless to say “heartbroken” about the lack of respect for our feelings and all the effort we put into making this refi happen as we did everything Palm Beach Mortgage asked of us to make this refi go through. We decided to go with another mortgage company and within 8 days after submitting it to the underwriter we closed on our home. The same refi information for our house we gave to Palm Beach Mortgage, but this company got it done with no issues and the nicest people to work with. This company will go nameless as not to play the “he said, she said” game. We were totally blown away with the professionalism at this company as they were very courtesy and returned all our phone calls. This competent and experienced business got us approved with expedited results that Palm Beach Mortgage Group could not deliver. I cannot state enough negativity for anyone who is thinking of using Palm Beach Mortgage Group. If I could give a 0 rating I would. It is my opinion to stay as far away as possible from Palm Beach Mortgage Group for you will be as disappointed as we were…. guaranteed.
