PSA! Please do not ignore the negative reviews like I did, This establishment is totally disrespectful. After making a sod delivery order with what I assumed was an employee of this establishment, I was given an assurance that I would receive an hour before phone call and a 12:30-1pm delivery window, so I planned accordingly...what I received was a 7am delivery and no phone call save the one from the delivery man saying "he'd arrived" I had to race home in order to receive the sod and sign for reception, fast forward I called to discuss why I had been mislead to believe they would honor what was agreed upon and was told I would be contacted by "Richard" Richard went on a berating rant about how they don't assure times and deliveries, as you can assume dear reader- I was perplexed as to why I was told something from "their" employee, I didn't demand that info, it was offered. Hence after a very contentious and hostile toned Richard "informed" me of their "ironclad no delivery time protocol" I was moved to share this putrid experience with Richard and Meyers with you fellow consumers, be aware that this establishment does not take accountability and will disrespect you with hostile and rude interactions. We all have choices to take our money to businesses that respect hard working people who simply expect to be respected. I assume you will see some "canned" response to this review in hopes of salvaging some public perception-but do yourself a favor, skip this place and seek other more professional and courteous establishments, just because a business is a few decades old, doesn't equate to them being equitable. Got anything to Yell Rich?

Just returned from my second trip to Meyer's (the first was last summer), and I have only good things to say about my experiences with them. So many beautiful plants (and wonderful, interesting, often surprising design elements, which make wandering a pleasure), spending time there makes me wish I had more land. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait for assistance, and they start loading my truck before I've even had time to ask for help. I really like this place.

It was a disaster. He waited until the last minute then squeezed another 2k out of me. I was stressed out and out of time. They did a half a** job and a large percentage of plants died. Of course I never heard from him again, even after repeated calls to him. And then the owner. I was told he was no longer there and there was nothing she could do. Absolutely horrible. Tupical southflorida. Promise the world, pay through the nose and get screwed. STAY AWAY,!!

Staff was super helpful, I has a pretty tight budget for a non profit and they helped me pick out just the right stuff for the project. We didn't use them for labor just materials but if the help we recieved in materials is any indication, they would be great. Very pretty place to get ideas as well, several different gardens on site. Nursery staff was very knowledgeable about plants, environs and care. I have purchased a few things since the big order and the staff loads them for you onto your car/truck. Thanks again Meyers for ALL your help and time you took with me for a pretty small order considering. I felt like a big player with the service they gave me and the questions answered.

This local company has been around for years, so I originally contacted them for a more comprehensive landscape job, but then decided to use them for the sod replacement only. From start to finish, communication and coordination was very good. With weather being a factor, we worked around it and coordinated a mutually agreeable install date. The work was done on time and on budget (price per square foot as quoted).
