The house looks absolutely disguising. I tried to get him to come out and fix the problems but he thinks that there is nothing wrong. The tile was installed completely improperly in a substandard manner in which not only were the grout lines were completely uneven, many of the tiles are defective and don't look right. The whole installation is uneven. Even when you walk on the tiles it hurts your feet because they're so uneven. There is large bumps throughout the floor and it's not level. I paid a premium to get the best tiles available so it should be more level than normal Mexican Tiles. The final disaster came toward the end when he left grout covering the edges of the tile. He let this grout dry over the tiles and he was about to seal the tile with the grout on all of the edges. He used a chemical to take the grout off and it turns out that this would actually take the color out of the tile. Once the sealer was put on you could see all of the problems in the tile. Now there is a blotchy white film over almost all of the tiles. The floor was so dirty when he put the white grout in makes the grout even look dirty. He was not clean at all throughout this job. I now have to rip out 1800 Sq Ft to get replaced. My whole home is supposed to be remodeled but now I have to hold up on my kitchen until we can get the floor finished. I have sent him demand letters trying to get his insurance information.
Description of Work: I gave him a 50% deposit for him to do some tile work around my home. He did Mexican Tile in about 1800 sq feet of my home and it was horrible. It was an absolutely horrible experience. I can't even find a company to fix the job because it has to be torn out and have new tile installed. He was very unpleasant throughout the experience. He would threaten to leave the job when I would ask about anything that wouldn't look good. He was just horrible.
