The men did a great job while replacing a window. They were efficient, left no mess, and showed true empathy by making sure the heat infiltration into our house during construction was minimized. I give them a 5-Star rating.

The windows are magnificent. The installers were professional and most efficient. We interviewed five window companies and choose Max Graud over all because they had the best windows and their own installers. It proved to be the best decision we could have made. We would reccomend Max Guard without any reservations.

Max Guard customer service is outstanding! Real people answer the phones and keep you advised throughout the order and install process. Everything went great and I highly recommend them.

The windows and doors were everything we hoped. Installation on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 the highest): I would give the initial installation a 7. That being said I have to say working with Eileen on correcting the issues was great. She kept us updated on replacing the front door and a sliding door. The follow up installation was a 10. There Warranty is solid; they stand behind their products and their installation.

Very impressed with their service and professionalism. Would highly recommend them. I did have to wait for the windows longer than anticipated, but am pleased with their attentiveness. Their crew kept me well informed and cleaned up meticulously after each day. They even sent one of the owners out after the job was completed to check on my satisfaction. That’s unusual for today!! Had an issue with a window after a month and they sent a representative the very day I notified them.

I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Delays in installation, no communication. I had to continue to follow up with updates. Finally 7 months later my windows were installed, very poor job. Terrible caulk job. Different marbling patterns installed, which I wasn’t involved in deciding what was put in my house. When I followed up I was told it’s not in my contract and they were going above and beyond by installing new window sills. They purchased these during the installation with runs to multiple Home Depot locations. The outside of my windows looks terrible and was left that way…stating that’s not part of the contract either. I spoke to Aileen multiple times and requested to speak with someone higher up. I never received a call from anyone. I even sent an email with my concerns to pbulger@maxguardhurricane.com with no response. Let’s be clear I hired a professional company as I have no idea what’s involved with window installation. I regret hiring this company and please be aware the final result it is not worth the price. DO NOT HIRE!!!!

Very well, showed up in time frame given and was finished work by the time I gave him so I could go to work on time. Fixed issue along with one other on a sliding door.

We were happy with our impact window and door installation. The installers were professional and easy to communicate with. It did take a little bit longer than expected because they could only work a few hours the first two days, rather than full days. Would recommend.

The guys were polite respectful and very clean. I never once had to clean up behind them. Anything else I needed was handled promptly. I have recommended Max Guard to anyone who wants to put hurricane windows.

Max Guard made it smooth and painless, which was very welcome after the original company I hired (nationally known) took multiple visits to do the job and then it turned out the used inferior products. I got estimates from 3 A+ rated companies. Maxguard was a little more expensive (not a lot) but they said they could do in 8 weeks instead of 13 weeks for the other vendors. So I went with maxguard expecting to be disappointed. On August 1st they called to say they were ready. Exactly as promised. They did a really excellent and thoughtful installation. The windows are excellent.

They came as scheduled but were not able to finish the installation because of stormy weather in the afternoon. They promised to return the next day and they did. Work started again at 8:30 am. All was completed by noon. Very professional and courteous.

NIGHTMARE! We met Peter Bulgar at the home show in March 2019. He is a smooth and fast talker and we were happy to be promised installation before hurricane season. Mistake and more mistakes with poor response time and worse communication, the installation finally began in mid October. Permits said replacing like with same whereas we were knocking out full CBS walls to out in doors! Lies abound and grew and errors were abundant! All doors were hung backwards, sloppy workmanship, one door was tampered/vandalized to hide it not functioning properly, rather than repairing it or ordering a new working door. They literally removed a locking pin and caulked it closed! If unfounded by us, this would impair the locking mechanism! We could not lock our front door from outside for the last 3 months. We are still missing 2 screens and still have touch up work to complete, yet a few hours after the front door lock was finally replaced today, we received a threatening email at 9pm that the full payment of over $57,000 was due by tomorrow end of day or Max Guard would void our warranty and we would need to speak with their lawyer. Please note, they had 4 people working here all day yesterday and just replaced the door lock today. This is the most dishonest and disorganized company we have ever experienced. We paid top dollar for inexperienced workers and an unprofessional company. Not sure if this will end up in court or if our doors will withstand the winds, but this experience has exhausted us. Please go to any other company. Do not be fooled by their advertised 0% financing. Peter even told me last month that it does not exist. WOW.

It took 3 months to start the job, then it took 3 days to do 6 windows and 2 doors because the crew didn't start until 11AM and started packing up at 4:30 and a 1 hour lunch break. Windows were damaged in transit, they were finally replaced. The customer service was terrible, they don't call you back. I had to drive to their office a few times to get satisfaction.

Though there was several weeks' wait before they began, when the crew came they worked quickly and efficiently. They were courteous, professional, and polite. They cleaned up very well and took old screens and debris away with them.

Overall it went very well. There were some hiccups because of structural issues with the wall where a large window section went. (This was an L-shaped area with 4 individual window sections - 1 about 3 ft wide by 6 high, and 3 about 5 wide by 6 high. This was the single most expensive and most labor intensive area for both the windows and the shutters.) Those weren't evident until the old windows were removed and the new ones ready to go in. This led to some delays with both window projects, but the crew from MaxGuard improvised, patched and got things taken care of, while coordinating with the shutter guys to ensure both projects were completed only slightly behind schedule and at no additional cost.
