Main Drain Plumbing

Called Main Drain Plumbing on a Saturday at about 11:00 AM to tell him the problem. My water line between the meter and the house had a leak in it and we had no water to the house. Danny dispatched a plumber to the house and Scott arrived in about 45 minutes. Scott figured out the problem, repaired the section of pipe and was done by 1:30! Two and a half hours from call to job finished! Beside the fast service, Scott was a really nice polite guy and the price was more than fair. Would definitely use them for all my plumbing needs in the future!

He showed up the same day I called, within a couple hours. Was very friendly. Did the job well. Found the root cause of the issue and an estimate on how much it would cost to permanently fix it. He was fair priced and wanted to do what was right. I highly recommend this service to anyone that needs plumbing. He is now my go to plumber in the south Palm Beach area.

Unfortunately, they did not have professional grade equipment and so could not do the same quality of work as the "big guys." Very pleasant to deal with, but we wouldn't hire again.

Daniel quoted me a fair price over the phone for replacing the water heater and also upgrading the associated electrical connection (price listed includes both). Daniel's guys were prompt and even though there was an initial miscommunication regarding the size/type of water heater (my parent's closet is under the AC handler), they didn't hesitate to run back to their shop and bring the appropriate (low-boy) sized water heater. The hookup was efficient and clean. The electrician also arrived as scheduled and upgraded the appropriate electrical connections. I would definitely recommend Daniel for any future plumbing issues!

Daniel was EXCELLENT! Had two bathrooms back up. Called Main Drain Plumbing first thing next morning and Daniel was here before noon and gone by 1pm. Had house snaked before by someone else 10 years earlier but nothing as good as Main Drain. He was very professional and told me everything he was doing and then told me what the problem was and how to NEVER have this happen again!! From now on if I need any plumbing issues arise I will call him, but it wont be for bathrooms backing up! Thanks Daniel for a GREAT job!

After someone not be named decided to avoid a smelly garbage can by disposing of a pound of cooked fish and lump crab meat down our garbage disposal, the drain became blocked. I, pretending to know what I was doing, tried plunging and snaking the drain to no avail. When I gave up Sunday night, I called Main Drain at around 6:30 PM. They called back in about ten minutes. I told them my tale of woe, and explained that I needed someone at the house Monday morning to clear the drain. We made an appointment for 9:30 the next morning. The vendor showed up at 9:15, immediately set to work located the cleanout for that drain, set up his professional grade snake, and by 9:45 AM he was packing up, the drain was running like a champ, I was thanking him profusely. I even got the 10% Angie's list discount! Wow!

It went real well they came out and knew what had to be done and completed the work.

He pinpointed the area perfectly

We had sewer water briefly backed up in to the shower. I called two different plumbers to see who could arrive the soonest. The other company said they could come the next morning (I just talked to a secretary). When I called Main Drain I spoke with one of the plumbers, so he talked me through the problem. He gave me a few diagnostics steps to try to determine how serious the problem was (not that serious), which was comforting. He said the next step would be to use a camera to see the amount of blockages in the sewer pipes. I agreed and he came by that afternoon. It turned out to be metallic build-up. The snake also cleared some of the looser debris. It was nice to be able to see the pipes for myself. He referred me to a person who could perform cleaning of the pipes. He was here for about 30 minutes, so the price tag seems a bit high to me. A quick online search described $300 to be average for the video service. But overall I am very happy with the service because of the time and effort he took to answer our questions and give advice, even before we hired him. Not every company bothers to do so.

He found where the problem was in about 15 min. He knew exactly what he was doing. Everything was up and working with in 20 minutes. The nicest part was he gave me a senior citizen discount of $25 off

Received update calls from the foreman, JR, which was greatly appreciated in keeping me posted as to their schedule and eventual arrival. Work was completed, price was right, crew cleaned up. JR even gave me some information about my main water supply system and we discussed some exterior valve corrections that should be made in the future. Was able to use my Angie's List coupon.

OMG!! THE BEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE! I called Daniel at about 2:00 p.m. He was finishing up a job and was at my house in 20 minutes. He was professional and contrary to what I read in the reviews, he was all smiles and had a GREAT attitude. The problem we were having was a bathroom that had sewage backing up in the shower making the bathroom unusable. Water was also coming up from under the toilet. Daniel had all the equipment needed to diagnose the problem. First he cleared the blockage. Then by using his camera, he was able to determine and show me the scale build up inside the pipe. He gave me pictures that I could give to my landlord who keeps telling me that the backup is somehow my fault. It is his crusty old pipes that are causing the problem. Daniel referred me to the only two companies that can descale these old pipes. He did not try to do work beyond his scope of expertise. I really appreciated that. What a pleasure it was to do business with him and I would highly recommend him.

After calling first Daniel and his helper Matt from " Main Drain Plumbing " arrived about 9 am, a half hour before scheduled appointment time. Daniel and I went over what I wanted and where the material was located and they got right to work. You could tell that both Plumbers were good mechanics. About an half hour later Daniel was starting on the bathroom sink and when he grabbed the box he found that the sink was oval but the hole was round. Like most good mechanics, they live in their own world and when Daniel found the sink was oval his attitude was quite condescending. Within seconds he was ready to grab the sink out of the box to prove it would not fit. We all know that square pegs don't go into round holes, so I felt like a total J****** . Especially after he said that in 4 years I was the first customer that he let buy their own fixtures. I needed to go to Home Depot and at that point Daniel said " I have a 10:45 deadline so if you are back in enough time we can do it other wise I have other customers.... ". After spending many years in sales myself , I know that mentioning " Other Customers " is a no, no. Your only customer is the one standing in front of you. Anyway, I got back on time and the round sink was installed. The plumbers picked up after themselves. I paid the bill and tipped them enough for lunch and left them smiling. I just wish they had wiped things down. I am disabled. Great Mechanics have never been known to have the greatest people skills, and that's ok because I would rather have work done correctly. However, after 58 years of living on this planet I have met " Great Mechanics " with great people skills, even had a few as friends. For those without people skills they should just think before they act and learn to like their customers. Don't cringe when a person tells you that they have worked in your profession at one point in their lives. I could have done all this work myself if I was not disabled and old !!

They were great and everything was perfect and terrific.

Dan showed up on time and as promised (unlike another plumber i had called to diagnose the problem) and figured out exactly what the issue was and did not require anything to be fixed. No charge and even took his shoes off before he entered the master bedroom (had an issue with a Directv rep who tracked mud throughout my house) Main Drain Plumbing is now my "go to" guy for plumbing issues and he will be getting referral business from me as well.

The Installation went beyond my expectations.It went awesome! Dan, was prompt, polite, empathetic to my time restraints and extremely professional. He replaced two round bathroom sinks from 1988 and made them fit back inside the original cut out. One of the sinks had some part issues Dan was well equipped with the appropriate parts. The Installation of the new toilet was quite the challenge as the screws were rusted and the toilet was at least 10 years old. Dan did the removal without destroying the ceramic tile. Yahoo!! It is a great pleasure working with this company. When you need a plumber call " Main Drain Plumbing".

He was knowledgeble about the problem. Suggested several choices of a new toilet. He picked up & delivered the one I chose & installed it perfectly. Did clean caulking around the tile & bottom of toilet. Gave me a very fair price. .He was punctual, friendly and efficient. Sure will recommend Main Drain anytime.

He was very communicative in an effort to schedule the service call. He was quick and professional. He took all old faucets and cleaned up everything before he left. I would definitely use him again.

We had just begun a renovation project in a bank foreclosed home we bought in North Palm Beach. I called Main Drain plumbing to give me quote on replumbing the sewer lines and water lines. In order for him to give me a quote on the work, he needed to first locate the septic tank. Prior to Main Drain coming to the house 2 plumbers and a septic tank pump company came out and couldn't find the tank. He provided me with a very reasonable quote for the work, however, I decided to do the work myself. He was punctual, courteous and knowledgeable. Also, he used the latest technologies to solve my problem. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.
