I called Luxury Maids Inc., to have the whole house cleaned following the installation of new windows. I had cleaned the house myself for several weeks following installation, but I wanted a deeper cleaning to get dust left in corners, base boards, under beds, and on the frames of pictures, mirrors and windows. I mentioned this, and also sent a list of things I wanted to be sure were not missed, such as wiping fingerprints around light switches and door knobs and mold in the grout and corners of the showers. The upstairs is about 900 square feet, (3 bedrooms and two baths). The downstairs is about 1300 square feet including kitchen, half bath, living room-dining area, laundry room and tv room. I was given an estimate of 5 hours for two people at $60 an hour, ($30 each) with a 10% Angie's list discount ($270.00) . The two ladies and their supervisor came promptly at 8am, I gave them a quick tour and left for work. At 1pm I got a call saying they had not started the downstairs yet, and needed two more hours ($120.00). I found it strange that they asked for two extra hours to clean 1300 feet downstairs when they spent 5 hours to clean 900 feet upstairs. I did not authorize any more time. At 1:30pm I got another call saying they had given me an extra half hour but needed another hour because they had not touched the kitchen. Again, I did not authorize more time. When I got home, and checked the job, I found it was mostly clean upstairs, but there was mold in the grout of the shower and fingerprints on two doors. I didn't notice anything had been cleaned downstairs. Maybe they vacuumed, but I had just vacuumed two days before. I was disappointed. When I got the invoice, I was surprised to see a bill for $335.00 with a $35.00 courtesy discount for that extra half an hour. I responded with what I had been quoted, and the bill was corrected. I expressed my disappointment with the fact that only half the house was done after spending 10 combined hours on 900 square feet upstairs. They responded that the condition of the house caused them to take more time than they thought, because there was a lot of "thick dust". The truth is, there was a thin layer of dust in the places mentioned above. Nevertheless, whether there is a lot or a little dust, cleaning it off requires the same amount of effort. They did ask what they could do to make it right, but they would have had to come back to clean the other half of the house. A second email from me asking what they did that took so long, went unanswered. I once supported myself by cleaning houses, so I know how long it takes to clean. I can not imagine why it took so long for two people to clean such a small space. (and they missed some things on the list). I had hoped that if I paid top dollar and got someone from Angie's list I would not be disappointed, but I was. Update: Graciela sent a team out at no extra cost to clean the downstairs. Two ladies came at 7:45am and left at 11:45am. They did a thorough job this time.

I used this service several years ago for my mother. Today they do the same excellent service I found when they were just starting. I highly recommend them. They are very thorough without any direction.

Excellent.... high recommended..... Team 10 were terrific! Timely, courteous, non-stop work, completed in 2 1/2 hrs. First time the house had been cleaned in several years! Stupendous job!

I was doing a special thing because I was having a lot of service They charge $25-$30 an hour. They were excellent. They were always on time and worked around my schedule. They were great. The owner, Sylvia, pitched in when she was needed. They did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again.

I have been using them for a few months. They did a pretty good job initially but I don't think they are cleaning my whole house. I spoke to the owner, Graciela, a month ago and told her I didn't believe they were cleaning me floors very we'll. she said she would work on it. They came after I spoke to her, they didn't clean my daughter's bathroom floor. I thought I'd give them one more shot. Today I saw a long hair that I believe is one of the ladies' that I noticed a few days ago in the exact same spot in the guest bathroom. I'm blonde so I know it wasn't mine. I didn't move the hair because I wanted to see if they cleaned the floor. They came today and the hair is still there. This proved that they are not cleaning my whole house. I find this very frustrating. I would have given worse grades but they are very trustworthy. Although that's not worth much if they're not cleaning the floors.

I set the appointment for today (Thursday) at 1:30 pm. I let them know that I had a 2:30 appt so if they arrived after 2 pm, I would leave keys. I left my office and came home prior to 1:30. At 2 pm, no arrival. I called the office and they said the appointment was actually for Friday. Given my work schedule, I would not and did not schedule for Friday. Susanna said it couldn't be done today, she put Graciela on the phone who asked me to hold while she found a team. She said they were at another location and would be there shortly. I was just arriving at my 2:30 appt. When I came home at 4, two ladies were cleaning my second floor and had finished the third floor, first floor not started. I tried to speak to them so I could explain further what I wanted done. They did not understand what I was saying, very very little English if at all. They had already done my windows, even though I specifically asked that they not be done. I have a lot of windows, this had to take some time. They finished at 5:45 pm and when I asked what I owed, again they didn't know what I was saying. I had to show them my checkbook and they called the office. I was told $240, no credit for Angies List coupon, basically $80 per hour. The cleaning that was done was excellent, they were very thorough. I emailed the office and advised of this and noted the charges were more than quoted ($60/hr) and the windows had been done. When Graciela called me, she advised there were 4 people cleaning though I only saw two when I arrrived home at 4 pm. She stated she had not advised the team not to clean the windows, and that my actual charges were $265! Though the service was good, the office clearly does not communicate with staff, or ensure staff can communicate with the client. Further, I receive services I did not order, not to mention the booking for the wrong day. If I am busy enough to request a service, it is very frustrating to spend that much time trying to get the service carried out right.

They did an amazing job!!!!!!!! I am very OCD and am particular about how I keep my home...These lasides exceeded my expectations!! Everything was sparkling!! I requested a "deep clean" and boy they did they job! The price was extremely reasonable for the exceptional work preformed!! The women were pleasant, punctual, and did a great job. I asked them to "deep clean", which meant to me that they would go behind furniture and around rugs, and they did. We have a lot of antiques, and they treated them carefully, which is very important to us. Other cleaners I have had have broken things because they rushed and did not care, not so Luxury Maids. I paid more than I have paid other services in the past, but the price was fair, considering the time and effort they spent. They worked around 3 hours. I will definitely hire them again. I am glad that I found them.

I just had my first home cleaning and was very pleased after 2 back to back disappointments with other companies. Graciela was wonderful to work with in setting up the service and the ladies did a really nice job cleaning. I appreciated that they actually polished my wood furniture vs using a duster to just move the dust around and even pulled out chairs to vacuum under the table vs just around it. The bathroom was very well done, which IMO is the hardest room/area to clean. Lastly, Graciela sent me a TY note and called to follow up on my experience with the service. I'm currently booking my next cleaning!!

The team that arrived was courteous and through. They moved things when they dusted. They vacuumed the corners and behind the drapes. The floor was really clean. The bathroom sparkled. I will use them again.

They did an excellent job. The new owner that moved in after I moved out was very pleased with what they did. My only issue was the follow up when I called recently to have them clean my new apartment - they never called me back.

I'd be lost with out them! I've been using Luxury Maids for over four years now and I don't know what I would do without them. I rent my home on vacation rental by owner (vrbo) when I'm not there which I can honestly say wouldn't be possible without Silvia and Graciela. I often have same day turn over and luxury maids is always on time and cleans the house perfectly. I can't tell you how many guests comment on the level of cleanliness of the house. Not only that but I've come to rely on them to report any damage to the house as well as schedule any and all handyman type duties for the property. They are much more than just a cleaning service they are a one stop shop for all your home care taking needs! They are both honest and highly professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!!

They come out to my house every 2 weeks. I worked out a special deal with them, and they were very good about that. Their starting rate is 150 Dollars. I have a 1500 sq foot house, and they clean the entire house, they do the kitchen, bathrooms, the floors, they do everything. They usually send out 2 girls for an hour or an hour and half maximum. I have been using them for a couple of months now, and I have recommended them to a couple of people.

We sold our house and requested a move-out cleaning. Timing changed and Graciela was able to get her crew out the day after the request! They did everything -- floors, windows, sliders, appliances, bathrooms -- just everything! It was spotless for the new owner - who remarked how great the house looked when we did the key exchange the next day. Not only am I glad to have found Luxury Maids for the move-out cleaning, I will be calling them to help with our new house as well! Thank you Graciela!

As explained at the initial consultation, we would pay more for the initial cleaning of 6000+sf than the regular scheduled cleanings. We have obviously had two years of nonprofessional cleaning performed on this home so many items needed attention. Sylvia and the ladies were very prompt, thorough, professional and courteous. They arrived in the morning, worked quickly and stayed late to complete the targeted areas. The care and concern shown to our home assured us that we have made the right choice in selecting Luxury Maids as our cleaning/caretaker service. I highly recommend their professional services and our home does too.

Staff showed up on time with all their own supplies and equipment - we didn't need to provide anything although if we use them in the future, I'd ask them to use our vacuum cleaner (which is newer and more powerful). They took care of their work with no problems and did a good job - particularly with the bathrooms. I was able to work while they cleaned and was satisfied with the quality.

They were punctual, worked hard the entire time and did a wonderful job. I would hire them again in a minute. Great service.

The owner, Silvia, made an initial visit to my house to discuss details of the service. She also arrived with the crew on their first clean at my house, making sure everything was being done as agreed. Luxury Maids has now cleaned my house 3 times and are doing a fantastic job. I like receiving an email the day before. Silvia, Graciela, and Susanna, the sisters who run the business, are very easy to talk to and have made it clear that they are eager for feedback of all types. I am truly appreciative of Luxury Maids - worry free service and a thoroughly clean house!

Had home improvments done while we we were away and when we came home the entire place had Plaster dust covering everything. We looked on Angies list and called explaining our problem. The said they could get two people there by that afternoon. They arived when thy said they would and did a wonderfull job in only 3 hours....Very Happy We will be using them more often.

I am very satisfied with this company and plan on using them in the future. Currently have an appointment for next week. They listen to what I want to focus on and follow through. The two women who have come for the last three visits will always be my team and I particularly like that. The women have been courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this company.

I am a new home-owner and have been looking for a great cleaning service. I have NOT found it in Luxury Maids. I was optimistic, based on a few reviews on Angie's List, and my initial interaction via the phone was positive, so I scheduled my first appointment for 8/17/13. Two ladies showed up, but didn't speak much English, so it was a bit of a challenge trying to communicate my needs. I gave them a basic tour of our already tidy and relatively small home, and then they went to work for about 2 hours. They left several areas incomplete, such as the baseboards, and glass windows. The bathrooms, kitchen, and floors were cleaned decently, but I do just as good, if not better on my own. The service is way-overpriced for what was completed ($120 for 2hrs, $108, with first-time angie'slist coupon) and I found myself still cleaning long after they left.
