The entire team at Ward Damon have been a pleasure to deal with at every turn. The attorney who oversees the title department is Adam Seligman. His knowledge of real estate law came in handy as the closing hit a couple of bumps (due completely tot he other side) and I have to say we were so relieved to have someone who really understood what was going on an all of the options to deal with it. In the end, the attorney for other parties to the transaction got it that Adam is very capable and the nonsense ended very quickly. We were very grateful to have competent representation. Adam's team is very committed to service and they each have their role on the team. However, we were never left hanging and they all seem to work together as a unit flawlessly. The first thing you should know about Lighthouse Title is that they are a team. Why this is important: the ball does not get dropped-- ever! There is no and quot;weak linkand quot; at Lighthouse Title. Adam Seligman is the head of the department. His attention to detail and ability to remain calm in the face of even the most difficult file, client, or circumstance puts him way ahead of the game. (I have been the difficult client and watched him in action on files in which my clients were). As if that weren't enough, his team is just as strong in their relative areas. He has paralegals and assistants (Renee and Kathy are our favorites!) who can work a short sale file and make a very complicated legal process approachable and simple for the client (so important!). Adam Seligman has represented me and my clients as an attorney, closing agent, and short sale negotiator- all very well. I have closed over 100 transactions with Adam and his team at Lighthouse Title over the past three years. Although I could go into detail on each one here, the fact that I am still doing business with Lighthouse after three years and over 100 files should tell you that they are a very good firm.
