Matthew was COMPLETELY courteous, honest and didn't try to squeeze us for money. He must know that because of this we will not hire anyone else when it's time for a new AC. It's nice to know there are still professionals out there who have integrity.

This company has a team of professional and honest workers. John Johnston was very patient in explaining to me what was going on with my air unit.

Wonderfully. All work was done in 1 1/2 days. They carefully covered my clothes and the floor and after they cleaned up, there was not a spot of dust anywhere. Workmen were very polite. The new configuration of the duct work in my house was just what I needed to make the house much cooler and the a/c unit is working more efficiently. Phil came to the house; drew new plans and showed us why the old way was not working.

Ashley in the office was great, gave me all the information I needed to make the best decisions for our rental property. Xavier did the service and called me to explain the issues, the cost and let me know when he had completed the work. When we decided it was time for an entire new system Phil went through our options, and because we have a service contract, we got an extra 10% off the cost. I trust Hopkins!

We replaced our entire system due to the desire to reduce our energy consumption and address some performance issues with our current system. Chad Hopkins performed a thorough load calculation and listened to our concerns (many more details provided in my original review). We agreed on a package that would address all the issues we were having and set an install date. Chad's team arrived right on time and started the work. They were nothing but professional throughout the entire process. Always arrived on time, always provided updates, kept a neat work area, and provided an overview of the work completed and pending at the end of the day. My wife was home throughout the process and was 100% satisfied with her interactions. Upon my return from my business trip I noted a few cosmetic things (very minor) that I wanted addressed and Chad sent his guys right back out to address with no hesitation. After about a week we didn't feel as if our humidity levels were as low as they previously were and brought this to Chad's attention. He requested time to research the matter so he could come up with the best possible solution. To our surprise, he worked directly with Lennox and gave us a solution that was not even available to the public yet. We decided to give it a try and by the end of the day it was clear the issue was resolved. Although this required an upgrade to our thermostats and an extra component that had to be installed into our handler, Lennox provided the parts for free and Chad personally performed the install for no charge. Needless to say, we are more than satisfied with the work performed by Hopkins Air and STRONGLY recommend them to anyone looking for a top notch AC contractor. Especially if your project is large in scale or your problem is complicated to diagnose. Chad has the knowledge and equipment to address any HVAC concerns.

Hopkins installed a new unit in my home, and I was very pleased with the service and attention. Avier, Tyre, Vincente, and Benny Calcano were very respectful, professional, courteous. They answered all my questions and completed the job when they said they would. They even returned the following day to answer some more questions I had. I would recommend this company any time.

The Estimate was done efficiently and quickly. While we are not doing the ductwork job right now we did contract with Hopkins on a yearly maintenance program. Our first semi annual visit was this week and the workman was punctual and really good at explaining what he was doing. He did a thorough job and we are confident our system is in tip top shape. We would highly recommend Hopkins to handle all your air conditioning needs.

They were highly professional, did an excellent job. They were on time, cleaned up, the technicians were helpful. They followed up week later to be sure things went well. They insured I knew how to use the new thermostat.

We had our entire system replaced simply due to its age and the grounded compressor. Our old TRANE 5-ton system was about as near trouble free as we could have hoped for. Our new LENNOX system installed by Hopkins A/C is fantastic. We are happy with the results and especially happy with the Customer Service and installation. Only time will tell how much of a savings we will gain, and the ability to tweak our system to our comfort level. I would definitely recommend Hopkins to anyone needing not only help with their current A/C unit but to also give them a call if you are in need of an upgrade. True Professional Organization that is first class putting the customer first.

We had a deal a few years ago where they did a number of home, I think 18 or 19 homes here in the community. So, we continued with them and they have done an unbelievable job. Some other residents have been using them for service and they love them. They come out twice a year; spring and fall. They are absolutely wonderful. They are a small family owned company and they care about their customers. I am continuing to use them. We are doing service now and it is like $350 a year. The system went in a few years ago when government was given all sorts of rebates and everything, that is hard to evaluate.

I am in the process of adding solar to our home and replacing the most energy draining appliances we have in order to minimize our solar panel needs. Obviously, the AC is the biggest Kwh user. We were committed to Lennox so I contacted 5 companies all listed as Lennox Premier dealers for quotes. Only 3 of the companies took the time to thoroughly evaluate our system in order to propose the necessary modifications to make it run as efficient as possible and perform to it's best capability. However, none of them came anywhere close to the thoroughness of Chad Hopkins. He spent nearly 3hrs completing a full load calculation on my home. He inspected the entire system top to bottom and noted deficiencies others overlooked. His attention to detail and professionalism were bar none. This was all done with no commitment to proceed with a purchase and at no charge to me. We are currently in the process of signing the work order to move forward on this project. Just like others have said, his estimate may not be the cheapest one you receive. I had a significant range in estimates when all was said in done. Some people told me the system was fine as is and we could just connect new equipment all the way to replacing most of the supply and return lines. It is amazing what you learn by meeting with so many contractors. When all was said and done none of them gave me the confidence that they truly understood how to properly evaluate, revise, and install the system as well as Hopkins Air. With an investment of this much money you would be wise to not sacrifice quality just to save a buck. I trust my new system will address all of my concerns and provide me the comfort and efficiency that I desire. I will follow up post install with another review of how the work went. I strongly recommend contacting Chad if you truly want a top notch HVAC contractor. Especially if you are experiencing performance issues with your current system. He has the knowledge, equipment, and experience to get it done right. I am confident you will not be disappointed.

I contacted 7 companies on FPL's participated contractor list, and they were the ONLY company responded. The estimate was fair, and the tech showed up in a reasonable timing. It was a good experience.

We recently purchased a home built in the 1980's. We knew that the AC system was nearing the end of its useful life, but did not know that it was undersized for the home (in light of an earlier addition) and barely hanging on. The existing unit failed several weeks after we moved in, accelerating the need to consider replacement. We obtained three quotes for the job. Hopkins was not the low bid, but their pricing was not far off. The professionalism shown by Chad Hopkins was head and shoulders above the others. At our initial meeting at our house, Chad listened to our concerns and asked many questions. We scheduled a second meeting to discuss our options. Before that meeting, Chad completed a Manual J load calculation for our home. He was the only contractor to do this prior to tendering a proposal. At the second meeting, Chad reviewed in detail the options he thought would address our needs. He presented three detailed written proposals and brought manufacturers' data for each piece of equipment that would be installed. He also provided us with information relating to the possible cost savings for each option so that we could analyze the relative costs and benefits of the proposals. Chad's original proposal involved retaining much of the main trunk lines, the central ducts that distribute cooled/heated air to the house. The plan involved moving the main air handler from our attic to the garage and installing a new mini-split for the addition. Chad reviewed with us a 5-day plan for the demolition and installation. Unfortunately, during demolition it was discovered that we had a good deal of mold in the main trunk line. We then decided to replace all of the ductwork in the house. The original schedule did not change. Chad brought in additional people to aid with the additional demolition and duct installation. Everyone who came to our house from Hopkins was courteous and pleasant to work with. In spite of all of the work, the level of dust and dirt was minimal. They were respectful of our home, particularly important for us as my spouse works mostly from home. They did a number of small things not specifically noted in the written proposal. For example, we had to move our garage attic ladder as it would have interfered with the new air handler location in the garage. They purchased a nice, aluminum replacement and installed it in our garage, neatly framed out with new moulding. They removed the old heat exchange coil previously connecting the AC condensor to the hot water heater, pulled as much of the line as possible, and neatly patched the outside of our house. They painted the new steel chase, covering the coolant and electrical lines on the outside of our house, to match the siding. In short, they left everything neat and clean. But most importantly, they left us with a well designed HVAC system that we are confident will work for years to come. The comfort level inside our home is greatly improved. It was a difficult and expensive experience, replacing our entire AC system soon after buying a house. It would have been much more so if we had not found such a competent contractor.

We have been using Hopkins since they first installed the original units at our old house. When we moved, we had them do the work because they are punctual, professional, and do the job right the first time. Yes, they may charge a little more but you also get what you pay for. We strongly recommend them!
