Mike explained the problem and was able to fix my irrigation pump problem the very same day. They pointed out a few other items to look for with my irrigation pump, which pulls water from the lake behind my house.

The contractor was there < hour. Installed a used part to replace my broken one. I asked for him to check all heads, and I found one broken that I had to replace my self. My wife paid him a check but was provided no invoice. When I texted him about an invoice, he said to send him my email address and he would send me a copy. He never did. I even asked him once again via text for an invoice and he ignored.

I had a broken sprinkler head and they were able to come out the same day and fix the repair. They also took the time to look over the rest of my system and explain a few things to me (I had just bought the house).

Friendly, hard working handymen. However, I should have hired a sprinkler service company instead of the handyman for the finer parts of the job. One area gets no water, two sprinklers shoot well water into my pool, one sprinkler hits my neighbors window, and my pump loses its prime when it is off a day or more, even though the handymen installed a new check valve.

Mike arrived when he said he would. He surveyed the situation and gave us a sound recommendation to solving the problem. He was fair and honest. Another service we had come told us we needed lots of work including a floating goose. So glad we called Hirsch.
