Now that I see this provider has only been given "F"'s,I am so happy I didn't use them.

Terrible experience. I wanted them to make 4 padded slipcovers for the backs of some metal barstools and recover the existing seats of the barstools. I was told the work would take 2-3 weeks. It took six, and then the work wasn't what I had specified. I paid a lot of money for some very shoddy work. The barstool seats were not replaced correctly (the seat bottoms were clearly marked with "front" and "back", yet they somehow missed that). The woman who took the order and with whom I had several conversations denied ever speaking to me. Yet somehow I knew all about her torn rotator cuff and how it was so much more painful than when she was severely burned as a child. I had provided the fabric for the job and asked them to be sure that all remaining fabric was returned to me. When I picked up the barstools, the extra fabric was not there, and it took 2 more visits before I finally got it. They were rude, lied about promises they had made, ignored the specifications on the work order, and generally botched the job, which was overpriced to begin with. I will never use them again and have steered all of my friends far, far away from them.

Hemingway Design Center (HDC) has common ownership with Boca Bargoons, a fabric store, next door. Boca Bargoons sends its customers to HDC and pretends that HDC is independent. HDC writes and invites customer to sign a statement of no responsibility for COM or "customer's own material" work. When work is not done to specifications, HDC "loses" the template. Boca Bargoons and HDC send customer back and forth between the two stores and then direct the customer to call a "corporate" telephone number to complain that is a recording.
