This family owned business. Steven is an extremely professional individual who is very knowledgable about this stuff. He does not oversell expensive products or try to get you to commit to anything you don't need. They are a company that I am eager to recommend. They installed an air conditioning unit last year for me and were extremely helpful throughout the selection of the unit, and how the installation would be accomplished. It went perfectly and they even went so far as to create a custom drip pan for my AC cabinet as it required a special fit. As usual, they go above and beyond expectations. Please do not select a big name AC repair shop. Not only will you get better service with Gulfstream, but you will save money and support a family owned business.

It went very well. Technician was available on a short notice over the Christmas holiday and he was very knowledgeable and professional. He quoted on the services and worked with me on the warranty of my existing system. Back in their office, services were handled very professionally as well. I am very satisfied!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was just fine. The Big Deal was $29 and I spent an additional $4,000. They were prompt and they did a good job as far as I can tell. The price was fine. I had a competitive bid and they came in lower.

I had to have some extra work done outside of the scope of the Big Deal and I bought a service agreement with them so there were extra charges. The bigger vent helped a lot so he was right. It actually brought my electric bill down and it cools my house off so it doesn't constantly run like it was doing. They were very good. They were professional and clean and followed up to make sure that everything was okay. I will certainly use them again because I bought the service contract.

He was very quick, patient, knowledgeable and gave us plenty of suggestions on maintenance for our system. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Very honorable and professional. I am very very pleased!

Their response time was outstanding. It was a Saturday morning in a holiday weekend. I received a call back from Jason in about 10 minutes after I called. Steve was there about an hour and a half later. In my opinion, outstanding service!! The job was completed in about one hour. We started getting cool air immediately. Steve also found out that the bad capacitor was replaced about 6 months earlier by a competitor. He offered to reinstall the bad capacitor so we could get warranty from the other company. Because of the outstanding, professional and honest service from Gulfstream we refused and paid their bill.

Everything went great! Showed up on time and was courteous and professional.

I did end up spending more than the big deal. I spent $70 more. I did not think it would be that much more. They did a nice job.

He took his time and was very helpful. He made things easy to understand and I trusted that the work he was doing was done RIGHT. He was very honest and fair. He spent about an hour and a half or more at my home when other companies are in and out in just twenty minutes. I will definitely call them if I have any problems again. I feel that I got a value when I paid $69 for the clean out and tune up.

They were the first people to call us back to ask us a number of questions that help them identify what the problem was over the phone, told us what to do while they were trying to get somebody to come out and them half an hour later called us back because they were sending somebody out. They told us the name of the person and after 30 minutes called us back and said they'll be here in 40 minutes. It's a small family owned company and they were all super nice.They did exactly what we needed, gave us a fair quote on the pricing.

Tech was very nice and efficient, arrived on time , did more than required without increasing price, cleaned up after himself. Will use them for any AC service/repair in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AC company.

We are very pleased with the service we received. Steve was professional and very helpful. I asked if we needed a new Air Condition System and he said no. He was honest and did not add additional services we did not need. I will certainly use this Company again. We plan to use this Company for all our A/C maintenance.

First off: I have been using these guys since 2011 and have some old, wacky AC unit in a 1970's house with a pump in the garage. They have replaced all kinds of parts at very reasonable prices and serviced the unit too. I have very furry pets. They even sealed the unit better to keep hair out, protecting the coils. The last thing replaced was a fan motor. But first a condensation pump and came out the day after I called at 9pm on a Thursday night, having had surgery that day, fearing the system may go out over the weekend. WOW. During the visit they thought the fan motor sounded like it was dying. They offered a great value to have the condensation pump and fan motor replaced at the same time. I tried waiting on the fan motor and 3 days later it died too. They spoke with me on the phone and came out the next day to replace the fan motor and still gave a great price. These guys are A+++ when it comes to service, responsiveness and knowing their business. Great brothers and I've even met another worker who knew his business just as well too!

It was in the Spring that I had notice the air conditioner leaking so I went on Angie's list and picked out Gulfstream Cooling. They were there within two hours, the gentleman was so nice and he fixed it in no time. I have since sold my home but will use them again when I move into my new place.

WOW - you MUST use this company for your AC / Heating needs. If there was an option for an A+++++++++ I would give it to them. From the initial call to the inspection / cleaning I have never dealt with such professionals my entire life here as a homeowner in FL. A+ for non pushy owner/sales. A+ for the next business day service call. A+ for the service professional who went over and above his duties and also pushed nothing on us. A++ for overall, there is no doubt I will use Gulfstream Cooling in the future and recommend them to everyone. Thank you SO very much!!

first off, I was impressed that when I called I mentioned purchasing the coupons from Angies List. I was told to hold on that until the repairman arrived at my house as they didn't want me to pay for services not needed. They were able to come out the same day and at a time that was convenient for me! How often does that happen? Steve was very experienced and knowledgeble, answered all my questions and showed me what he was doing. Our unit is quite old and we'll need a new one in the next few years and I will absolutely call this company again.

The air handler to one of our air conditioning units went out of commission late last week. We called Gulfstream Inc on Saturday and they dispatched a technician (Jason) the same day. Jason was professional and courteous and arrived within the timeline provided. He quickly assessed the situation and diagnosed the root cause very quickly. Thankfully he had the replacement part in his inventory on his van so wIthin minutes, he had replaced the malfunctioning switch and tested the system to ensure that it was working properly. Jason didn't try to sell other services or to "upgrade" the work to higher cost components. Once he finished, he left the work area neat and clean - very professional service - we'd use them again.

On Tuesday night, our air conditioning began not cooling the house. We didn't know of anyone that could fix the issue in our area. I went on Angie's list and found Gulfstream Cooling Inc, and purchased the 29 dollar visit from the coupon section. They were at our house within a couple of hours of our phone call. Steven Jr was incredible, he was friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. He took the time to answer our questions and explain to us what the issue was. He went over and beyond what he needed to do to fix our issue. I would, without hesitation, call them again for any of our cooling needs. I can highly recommend this company, they reviewed my AC needs and discussed options regarding type of equipment . A quote was promptly submitted and the next day a crew was on site early AM to start the install. The total job was completed in one day. When I arrived home to a cool house the technician reviewed with me what was done and information about the new system. The quality of the work was first class. I was extremely pleased with every aspect of this transaction.

Jason Tota gave us an estimate and was very knowledgeable and professional in his presentation. This is a small company run by two brothers, Jason and Steven. The pricing was competitive and the installation was done in a timely manner. I will use Gulfstream Cooling again and would recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy and professional AC contractor.

I called Gulfstream because our A/C fan was not working. I took advantage of the $29 Angie's List service call coupon. Anibal arrived when promised. I called at approximately 3:15 and they arrived within the 1.5 hour promise. Anibal was courteous and professional. He replaced the capacitor and charged me the fee that was quoted. He also did a system check of all the components. The service was prompt, the technician was courteous and knowledgable and there were no surprise fees. Great experience. I would highly recommend this company.

How did it go? In a word: "perfectly"! From my initial phone call, the company's representative was helpful. He walked me through the possible causes of my cooling problem. When it became apparent that I needed a professional, I was given a very clear time-frame for the technician's arrival. Half an hour prior to his arrival, the technician phoned to keep me updated. When he arrived, the technician was polite, professional and talented! He installed a new capacitor and even offered me the old, damaged one. In my experience, that's the mark of honest contractors! The price was excellent. The service was professional and friendly. What more could I want? Thank you!
