The first time they came out the unit was frozen, so they sent someone out 2 days later. Did not charge me any more for 2 visits instead of one :) gave me a quote for a new unit - mine is shot.

They installed a new compressor, air handler and piping connecting the two. They were very professional. They covered the floor in my home. It was unbearably hot, over 90 degrees, but they just kept at the work. They had to go into the attic to install the new piping and duct. They found that the electric for the existing system was not wired correctly and fixed that as well. They worked from morning until evening but when they left we had a working system. They had three guys, one was the owner's brother on the job the entire day. The owner showed up later and helped clean up and cart everything away. They came back for the inspection and nothing was found during the inspection. The system has been in since November and we have not had a problem.

Employee arrived on time. He checked unit and found the problem. He said I needed part replaced and he looked up my warranty and told me part was covered. I have used this company before and they do not try to sell you things you don't need. They tell you what is wrong and how much it will cost. Employee was very nice and professional. He was the same employee they sent out last time I had a problem. This company has the most reasonable prices of any a/c company I have ever used. Additionally, they don't put on an act like there is something really wrong with the unit to scare you into doing other things. They are very honest and I would not think of calling anyone else. I hope they always stay this honest. It is a pleasure to do business with them.

Well my family and I had the unfortunately experience of our air conditioner going out and so I ran to Angie's List to find someone on Friday. Gulfstream told me they did not have anyone working over the weekend which was typical and it was already around 3pm and they closed soon. I explained we couldn't make it an entire weekend, the young lady told me to hold on and she would see if she could get an attendant out before end of day. Before long that is what happen I had someone in my home at 530pm with an estimate and he was attentive, professional, knowledgeable and explained everything to us so we could avoid any future problems. I am happy to say the technician did not take advantage of our lack of knowledge by attaching more add-ons. He told us that the company prided itself on providing the services the clients needs and not on the companys bottom line and because of that stance they have faired better with customers. So thank you Gulfstream and to anyone looking to use this company, they are not only a company filled with integrety but my famly and I highly recommended them.

I called Gulfstream because my present service company came out to fix the problem three times with no success. This is because they cleared the drain line from the unit to the outside, while the problem was dirty coils on the inside of the unit. They repeatedly refused to open the unit up to find out where the problem was. Finally I called Gulfstream and they came out to the house the very same day. Gulfstream Cooling is an excellent company. The technician was extremely professional and would not leave until he was sure the unit was functioning as it should. I will be using them again for sure.

It was excellent service, good price, and they were on time. They did exactly what was offered and did not try to sell me other services.

Technician discovered a leak in the coils. Unit was replaced the following week.

This company was amazing. They were prompt, professional, gave us a tutorial on the new system and even worked to replace the system during the holiday after our old system died in the middle of Christmas with a heat wave! Everything from response to our emails, setting up appointments, helping is understand our options and returning phone calls promptly was maybe the best experience with a service provider we have had since moving to Florida. You cannot go wrong choosing them for anything from service to replacement.

It went well. It was an emergency so they had to do it very soon afterwards.

Some weeks ago I contacted Gulfstream Air Conditioning, Mr. Jason Tota the manager, to check out my A/C, it had stopped running. This was the second time I used GAC, to tune up my A/C, the technician called to advise he would be at my home in 30 minutes to check my A/C. When he arrived he advised that the A/C would not be fixable without changing the compressor, but he advised that the cost savings vs replacing it would probably not be realized since the existing unit was 14 yrs old. Mr. Tota gave me a quote and forwarded me information regarding the "Bryant" A/C unit. This included a detailed description regarding his recommendation and also a Consumer Reports with the rating and ranking of the Bryant versus the top manufactures of other name products. Overall Bryant A/C unit ranked second in a list of about 10-15 products. He included a quote and a week later I gave him the ok to install the unit. GAC, scheduled the installation for 8:30 AM, about 15 minutes before start time the technician called and said they would be on sight as planned. He also advised me that two technicians would be installing the unit and the job would take between 6-8 hours of work. They arrived as promised first one tech who immediately started dismantling my old unit, about twenty minutes later the second technician arrived with the A/C unit and new air handler. They worked non stop until about 3:30 PM and completed the work, They were very professional and explained the functions of the new seven day programmable thermostat key pad. All packing and installation materials were cleaned up and removed from the job sight. Great Job, but I expected it...since they had worked my A/C previously and Mr. Tota was very helpful and I know them to be honest and put the customer first.

System stopped working on a hot day. Gulfstream sent a tech out at 5:00 p.m. and system was up and running by 6:00 p.m. Courteous staff, eager to resolve problem.

The young man was clearly thorough, personable, took pains to identify all possible problems and alerted me what he discovered throughout the service. I couldn't have asked for a more comprehensive review of the A/C unit. I would definitely use this company again.

Arrived on site when scheduled. called before appointment to introduce himself initially. Started work immediately. Andrew was completely knowledgable about the process, his company, his role, and of course the appliance.

Installed two new air-conditioning systems. It has been a year since Jason Tota installed two new Bryant systems in our home. They work very well and we were very pleased with the installation and follow up service that we received. The purpose of this review, however, is to discuss our experience with Gulfstream a year after the sale. Last week, we noticed a discoloration around the ceiling near the air conditioning vent. I thought it was a leak created by the air-conditioning system and called Gulfstream. I had no problem getting a hold of Jason and he sent Jordan right over to see what was happening. Jordan got up in the attic and discovered a leak in the roof. He took pictures of the leak and laid the whole thing out for me so that I had a good orientation when I spoke to a roofer. Since it had been a year since installation, this contact with Jason led to a further conversation about a service contract and a few other items. As he did when we were discussing what systems to install, Jason focuses on trying to save you money and discourages you from buying things that he does not believe that you need. The system that was ultimately installed was more expensive and had more options than the one that Jason recommended. I did have to explain to him why I wanted the more expensive system. In talking to him about the service contract and some other items, he, once again, saved me a few hundred dollars by showing me how I could get the things that I needed, but for less money. Having run my own business, I can understand and appreciate Jason's approach to his. A truly satisfied customer is the best advertising that any business can have. If you take care of your customer, respond quickly to their telephone calls, and go out of your way to impress them with the speed and quality of your response to their needs, you will not have to spend money on advertising because they will do that for you. I hired Gulfstream because of the reviews that I read on Angie's list. It was not the brand of air-conditioner that they sold, but the service and responsiveness that they provided. It is a year after the sale and I am getting the same responsiveness that I got prior to the sale. These guys are a class act and I hope this review helps other people get the same level of satisfaction that I've had dealing with them.

Great. Have used these folks long before Angie. Skeptical of the younger techs but they did a fine job. Always easy to schedule appointments and get them out, emergency or not. Thanks as always Gulfstream.

It went very well. I used them for additional services as well. They cleared the drain line which was part of the tune-up. There were some additional costs. The tune up was more of identifying issues. They did some of that. I don't know exactly what it included but afterwards, they cleared the drain line. It required two other visits afterwards to run a new drain line. They did a good job.

They left the air conditioner on "ON state" and it was running and it's whatever caused the collapse and they had to come out the third time.

It went very good with them. It required tow other visits to run the drain line because the drain line was clogged.

Have used Gulfstream on several occasions now here and at another property. As usual they were punctual, thorough, and thoroughly professional.

The Gulfstream technician arrived on time and proceeded to check my AC unit and advised that the Compressor had failed, however he advised me that the cost would be reduced to $29.00 since it was a diagnostic check and the difference between the tune up cost of $69.00 and the diagnostic cost would be credited to my account. He took a photo copy of the Home Blue print that had the actual under air footage and forwarded this to the main office for a price quote to replace my old 13 year unit. That evening Gulfstream provide a detailed proposal for replacement, this included two options a less expensive unit vs a unit that was approx $300+ in upgrade costs. The difference being protective housing and internal parts where weather exposure could require an upgrade. Included in the proposal were the price quote, brochures on both options, and a consumer report on the product itself comparied to other AC products on the market this also included a timeline maintenance bar graph spread out over a ten year lifetime. It was professional, timely and comprehensive. I will get two more quotes and then choose. They did once again an excellent job, and their honesty in crediting my account is appreciated!
