Description of Work: Had a clogged drain line that I fixed myself. I wanted to find out if there was a root problem. The service tech did a detailed inspection and provided me with a very honest analysis of the problem. He did not try to up sell. I will use them in the future. I would trust them.

Description of Work: First they came and fixed a transformer problem by fixing a short in the wires at the condenser outside and saved us from putting a new unit in, that had been advise/ pressured by another company through Home Depot. Gulfstream also did an inspection/ Tune Up of our AC for a discounted price more recently, hence this review. It was a 69. tune up special plus refrigerant top off total about 110. Everything went smooth and they were professional and patient as always.I had to call them back 10 days later because the vent hose from the air handler had come off. Not their fault. But because they had just been there 10 days ago they waived the 70+ dollar diagnostic fee and just charged a very fair price for putting it back on, very well I might add so it would not be coming off anytime soon. I have had them out several times in the past two months or so, our AC is not a spring chicken but that they are helping us to get as many years of service from it as possible. They saved us once from a charlatan who came in the name of Home Depot and tried to get us to buy a new unit prematurely as mentioned above. Ours is 8 or 9 years Old and Gulfstream is helping us keep it running efficiently until we must replace it. , we have spent less than 300 dollars instead of 4000+ for a new unit, they feel more like a friend I can call when I need help not just a business trying to get all they can at our expense. Their prices are very reasonable I feel. Very highly recommended, I would not use anyone else at this time. They have been stellar.

Description of Work: The technician came out and ran a diagnostic (purchased coupon for $30 diagnostic). Unfortunately he was unable to correct the problem because the system requires a Carrier specialist. However he took the time to connect with carrier representatives to correct the problem to the best of his ability. He was the 5th A/C company to come out and I got the most information from him. So although Gulfstream was unable to correct my specific problem, the tech did a thorough job investigating the problem and I now know what's wrong!

Description of Work: I spoke to Jason about issues I was having with my air conditioner. I was set on having to replace it but he suggested we let a tech do a service call on it first. The tech found a lot of yard-waste blocking the compressor from working properly. That fixed the issue. We also had an issue with the drip-pan leaking. The tech thought it might be solved with the unit getting cleaned out because the water might have been channeling down the sides. When it wasn't that (a lot of water was still in the cabinet a few days later), Jason offered to send out his service manager free of charge. It became unnecessary when I just plugged the pan with some epoxy, but it was nice to know that Jason would have kept at it until the issue was solved. I highly recommend this company. Professional and knowledgeable from top to bottom.

Description of Work: Cleaned and drained two Rheem A/C systems. One of the units was being drained manually by us while Gulfstream was able to service the system. They were able to accommodate us for the immediate draining of the system and then scheduled the full service for both units at a later date. They were thorough and everything is working as expected. No further cost other than the cost of $138 for both units since we used the Angie's list coupon. Will be calling Gulfstream Cooling for future needs and service.

Description of Work: I had a couple leaks in my system that required parts to be replaced in order to be fixed properly. They filled up my freon to keep my system running while we waited for the parts to come in and deducted the freon cost from the final repair. For obvious reasons during the hot summer, this was much appreciated. I will definitely go with Gulfstream Cooling again.

I used them, finding them through you, because Home Depot in concert with Advantage AC of the Treasure Coast tried to sell me a new system that I did not need from minute one when they came to look at problem. They deserve and F+, Advantage AC of Treasure Coast that is. Gulfstream was great in every way and I will be back. Gulf Stream came the next day after I called them the night before at 10pm and charged me Angies deal price of 29.00 and a 100 for the part the same part the other company wanted 150+. Anyway DON'T HESITATE TO CALL GULFSTREAM. | |ps Angies List, I did rate this Company back when they did the work, but it is nice to see you are a good watch dog that's why we pay the price.

Description of Work: Annual maintenance service on 3 units. They found a leak in one of them that was not cooling properly. They checked with the manufacture of the unit and found that it was still under warrenty. Very nice service techs came to the house.
