Description of Work: I would highly reccomend this company to anyone needing hurricane shutters installed. Very professional from beginning to end. Less expensive of the four quotes I received. No money down and did not have to pay until inspection was passed. Even the building inspector commented on a job well done!

Description of Work: Brett, Andy & Shelly are terrific! | |I called Andy weeks back and had a lengthy conversation with him about installing hurricane shutters on my sliding glass doors (one approximately 142"x 97" & another 97"X 97") as well all of my windows (11). He initially mentioned that he typically doesn't perform work in my area; however, after a few minutes into the conversation he said that he would make it a point to send out a representative to take measurements and to provide me with an estimate. Andy first sent Brett and then he came himself. I was concerned as I'm in an upper floor condo and wondered if I can close the shutters from the inside. Andy was able to accommodate my request and I hired him to complete the work. It will be done the end of July and/or very beginning of August. I highly recommend Guardian and once the work is complete, I will write another review. |

We had had a few prices done and then found Guardian on Angie's list. They came out the next day, provided a good price. They treated us with courtesy and respect from the start.  + -1 moreI called Guardian to inquire about the cost of installing 6.9 accordion shutters to cover two French doors. They came and measured while I was at work, and contacted me with the price. Their price was actually only $300.00 more than the price I received in 2004 when a different company installed shutters on my windows. When I called the previous company (Shutter Services) for an estimate, their price was considerable higher. Guardian arrived on time, cleaned up and and completed the work to my satisfaction.

 + -1 moreIt went very well. It took about six weeks for the order to come in. They had them installed in one day. The accordion shutters are wonderful. They did not run off with my money. It is really hard to find a reputable company in this area. They did not require a large down payment like others.
