GRASSHOPPER LAWN & LANDSCAPE

We hired this lawn company because we knew a few people who used them and they had a pretty good rep. We have been using lawn care companies for years since our families work schedules does not allow us the time to do this work ourselves. Grasshopper Lawn Care was priced a bit higher then what we had paid in the past, but based on what we had heard we decided to give them a try. They started out ok, and we were pleased enough to recommend them to other people. But then we started having trouble with our sprinkler heads being cut off. We tried to reach the company via both phone and e-mail, and it was sometimes weeks before we would get a response. On more then one occasion they said the sprinklers were fixed and when we still had a problem they had someone else come and fix them and we were charged extra. This company does not send out regular bills, so if you use them keep a tight watch on what is paid. I don't believe they are out to rip anyone off, but don't count on them to do the bookkeeping. Most of our concerns could have been worked out if we had only gotten call backs. This company has the worst communication of any company I have ever used. We finally fired them when we found a company that is half the price, does a great job, and calls you back in a reasonable period of time.
