FLOOR STORE OF THE PALM BEACHES

Let's just say it DID NOT GO WELL! We had used this company previously and had a wonderful experience. We were praying that their estimate came in best so that we could use them again, and they did. But it was like working with a whole different company. Due to "economic times" they no longer had a store, but a warehouse. Now I see why they lost the store. We made multiple trips to the store. Of course the product we wanted was not available. Of course we did not find that out until after many trips to the store, many days of waiting to hear word, and many frustrating phone calls with the owner, Randy. He personally came out to measure and both my husband and I were there when it was done. The product arrived fairly quickly and they job started soon after. However, when we went to the house to inspect the final product, 2 rooms were not done. Randy told us that he never measured them...but he did. We watched him. Long story short, if we want ed the rooms done we have to pay for them (again..in my opinion). We agreed, because we wanted the whole upstairs done. To do the bedrooms, he ripped our freshly painted baseboards off the wall, never labeled then so that they could be replaced in the right order and laid the carpets. Again we went to inspect and I was disgusted that the baseboards were not replaced and the paint ruied. He stated 'that is why we prefer you paint after we lay carpet". Would this make sense to ANYONE out there? I can touch up paint. but I can get spilled paint out of brand new carpet..DUH! I told him that I wanted them put back. He was not nice and was more worried about getting paid then making things right. The baseboards were everntually put back, but the seems are wrong, and the paint damaged and when I have the time an money, I will have to rip them off again and completely replace them. He told me originally that any scuffed paint would be touched up by them..again he lied. The whole stairwell had scuff marks and they never picked up, or ever offered, to pick up a brush! The carpet pulls easily, so I am not even happy the the product itself. I would NEVER use this company again and strongly caution anyone considering hiring them to do work in their home.
