Ewing & Ewing Air Conditioning

My central air conditioning system developed a Freon leak and Joe from Ewing & Ewing determined that it was really cost prohibitive to replace the part, although it was an option. After speaking with him regarding my other options, I determined it was time to go ahead and replace the entire system. The next day a crew of 4 showed up on time at 8:00 AM as scheduled and within 2 1/2 hours, the old system was out and the new system was up and running. I can't speak highly enough of the professionalism of these 4 gentlemen. As soon as they arrived, each person got to work and never slowed down until the job was done. They were dressed as professionals and were very polite the entire time. They even took the time to sweep up the garage area for any debris before they left. My new central air unit is operating great! I can absolutely recommend Ewing & Ewing without hesitation.

Everything went perfect! The gentleman who came was very nice, he took the filters out and washed them and checked things out and made sure everything was working correctly. Now we are enjoying nice and cool air!

Ewing and Ewing who also have serviced our daughter and son-in law's house were called. They arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. We were quite pleased with their work and professionalism.

My air conditioner died on Thursday and the company could not come out and replace the unit until Monday. Joe sent a technician out on Thursday to install a new motor at no additional cost so we had air until they could replace our units. Shawn and Jimmy came out on Monday and installed two new units. They were professional and courteous and finished the job in a timely fashion. Joe went above and beyond what a typical company does. He was a lifesaver and I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing air services. Exceptional customer service!!!

They have great customer service, and they were here when they were supposed to be. They called back in a timely manner, they answered any questions, and they made sure to call us when they were coming. They were punctual, and they explained everything in simple terms.

All went well. It's been almost 2 months and the A/C is still working.

We had a few issues with the unit but each time we called they came out immediately to check it out. They never put us on hold and never kept us waiting for days. Always pleasant and fixed the problem. No issues since. Very pleased with them and when the time comes will set up a maintenance agreement with them to keep our unit running at peak performance.

They did an excellent job. They were on time for the appointment and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. One technician came out to do the work. They followed up after the appointment to make sure I was satisfied with the unit and everything was working well.

Been trying to submit this review for many months but my PC was not cooperating. Kept rejecting my submittal but I did not want to give up because we were so very pleased working with Ewing & Ewing. Had first used them In January 2013 to service our existing 12 year old system and they did a wonderful job servicing my "antique" system. When they finally died from exhaustion, we did not hesitate contacting Ewing & Ewing to arrange replacing the two units. They quoted me a very fair price, including applicable discounts so we set up an installation date. Their techs were very professional and handled all our needs to a "T". very qualified and answered any concerns we had considering our home is nearly 90 years old. Cleanup & removal of old units was top notch. Units have been working beautifully & our electic bill has been reduced dramatically. This is a very professional company that we will continue to use for servinging & be most happy to recommmend in the future.

Inspection revealed rusted fan causing noise. Chose to have new AC installed. Price of pre-purchased cleaning service was applied to new AC install. Ewing was able to find an AC unit that would fit the existing air handler platform. The installation was performed in a very clean and professional manner.

We called Ewing and Ewing on a Sunday morning after the AC would not work (of course on a weekend). My husband had installed a programmable thermostat, which he had done before at our previous house. He is usually very handy. It worked for a day and then stopped. Chris called us right back and went through some troubleshooting things over the phone (circuit breaker, etc) to try to diagnose the simple things first. We appreciated this because he could have come out and done this and just charged us! He determined that he did need to come out. He was there by 10:00 am. He found the problem quickly (sump pump- we never had one of those before). While he was there, he gave it a 'once over' and checked for Freon. It was in good shape. He showed me a few things to help our unit. We were so impressed with the prompt service and his integrity that we purchased their Service Plan also.

On time, professional evaluation, prompt bid, all good.

Chris S. was the technician and was very prompt. I, the Owner/Landlord, spoke with Chris over the phone and he was very courteous and kept me updated with the maintenance service at our rental property. My tenant was pleased with the professionalism.

Left a message on the emergency line and told I would be contacted within 60 minutes by a tech. Less than a 1/2 later Chris called, I explained what I thought was wrong. He asked a couple questions to help diagnose, gave me a window of when he would arrive and said he would call a 1/2 hour in advance. As promised, he called in advance and arrived on time. He quickly figured out the problem (seized fan motor). Chris called the local distributor to see if they have the motor in stock, they did, he went and picked up, and returned to finish the job. Additionally he cleaned the drain line, checked the Freon level and gave the unit a quick once over. Total repair time probably about an hour. I will be using Ewing & Ewing again.

Ewing & Ewing were selected from 4 other bidders to replace our 15 yo dual ac system and add some new duct work. We chose them for their onsite recommendations and the cost of the ac units (mid range). They arrived on time and finished on time. Work was of high quality, although they could've cleaned up their mess a little better. Both ac units are providing excellent service and we've enjoyed a significant reduction in our electric bills the last 2 months. Would strongly recommend them to our neighbors.

They said that a tech would call between 1 and 5 and then arrive within 30 minutes. He called at 215 and arrived at 240. He was clean cut and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. You can't ask for anything more.

It was fine. They were good and on time. They came when I asked them to come and everything turned out fine.

Everything went just fine. They were very nice and professional. They completed everything that was included in the deal.

Came home from work and found my A/C coils frozen. I found Ewing Air through Angie's List. Ewing Air called me back the very next morning, and had a technician at my home before noon that day. The technician ruled out various causes for the frozen coils, and ended up replacing the capaciter. Technician was at my home for nearly an hour. He answered all my questions. He even took the time to re-program my thermostat. Excellent, excellent service. Total cost was less than $150. In the past, I have used other companies, who usually try to sell me a very expensive repair, or a new A/C unit. Not with Ewing Air. From what I can tell, they rely on repeat business. They certainly have mine now.

Showed up late. Rush through to finish quickly because on an appointment I had to make that they where aware of.

We had an excellent experirnce. They arrived on time with all the items they needed for the job. In approximately 3 hours they had installed the unit and the house was cooling. They quickly cleaned up and removed all the debris from the job, and when they were inside the house they covered their shoes to protect our floors. At their suggestion, we had a slightly larger unit installed which has done an outstanding job of cooling and controlling the humidity. We would highly recommend this company!

It went very smoothly, they were in and out in less time than they said they would be. They cleaned up their mess and everything seems to be working fine! They answered all of our questions as well.
