Had me wait 2 weeks for an appointment. Then had me wait another 2 hours past my appointment window, total of 4 hours. The tech did not even park in the driveway, left his trucking in the street. I opened the front door to greet him and he walked past me with no acnologement. Walked straight to the refrigerator, opened the door and turned on the fridge and then turned it off real quick and then walked out the door. Blurted out for me to have a nice day as he was walking. It seemed as though he was only there to antagonize and make me feel bad, he never even tried to diagnose the refrigerator. This is the worst human encounter I have ever experienced in my lifetime. The worst of the worst.

I used Dollings because they were the authorized service for my DCS built-in grill. From beginning to end, horrible. For the initial visit, I had to wait until 830 the morning of the visit to be informed of my three hour window for later that day. Who do they think they are, Home Depot? On the initial visit, the cost of which was a very generous $140, the estimator told me that I needed rod holders, electrodes, a protective plate, and both U burners. I have no debate that these were needed, and the U burners have a lifetime warranty. Next business day, I got the following estimate from someone at the company (did not identify him/herself): "To repair BBQ $730.00 plus tax. Replacing 2 rod holders, 2 electrodes,2 electrode mounting brackets, I/R protective plate. Also 2 u-burners under warranty. Please advise." I wrote back and asked whether the $140 diagnostic fee would be deducted from that amount, which is standard in the industry. The equally rude response was: "No, Thats our trip charge out . You do not get this charge again. The $730.00 is for parts and labor. The burners are warrantied for rust thru only. The customer is to send photos of any burners with rust thru to DCS with customers name address and model and serial #'s" So in addition to $730 plus $140, I am apparently expected to disassemble the grill myself and deal with the manufacturer for warranty. This, from the manufacturer's authorized service representative, who already took the grill apart and told me I need these parts. This is great service, isn't it? On top of all this, the grill was left disassembled, which would have been fine if they were coming back, but only a fool would use this pathetic company.

Went pretty good. I would have liked more responsiveness via the message system on Angie's list but otherwise very prompt and responsive. John was a professional tech and actually didn't find anything wrong which is good to hear. I think service trip charge could be less but that's their business. In the end, I was pleased overall.

Dolling representative answered my call promptly. She was courteous and professional. As promised I received a follow up phone call and visit in the time frame specified. Technician performed evaluation and recommended replacement of dishwasher as cost to repair would cost almost as much as purchasing a new dishwasher. FYI Dolling only repairs appliances, thus the advice was against the revenue acquiring interest of the company.

He had such an attitude. He didnt want to order a part or provide price. He wanted me to wait when they were ready.

Easy to deal with, parts are ordered

riveThey were supposed to fix the washer, technician came, charged $140 and left, washer machine was not repaired... called again the following day, they told me they will call me, call again the next day, same story, finally called me 2 days later to tell me the technician will have to call me. A day later i got a call from the technician telling me he has the part that needed to be replaced, proceeded to hang up. Received a call a day later from Virginia asking me if the job was completed (WTH?) after saying that it wasn't she schedules the job for another week an half. no quote, or estimate, straight charged me an additional $300... so in total over three weeks from the moment the first place was placed to getting the machine fixed. They are rude, careless and outrageously expensive. STAY AWAY!

My 5 year old Fisher Paykel dishwasher started to give me error codes on the top drawer. The error code was about insufficient water supply. Ken from Dolling's Appliance came out and diagnosed the problem to be one of the valves that supplies water to the top drawer wasn't working properly. Ken had the valve on the truck so he was able to replace it and everything works perfectly now. Ken knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. Thank you Ken!

Refrigerator and freezer had stopped working; both were warm. I called Dolling on Monday morning, and Julio came to the house and repaired the refrigerator that afternoon! They are an excellent company, and Julio is very good at his job. He has been here on two separate occasions for two separate problems, has immediately diagnosed the problems, and promptly fixed them. I would definitely recommend Dolling to anyone who needs appliance service. They are wonderful!

The technician (Juan) arrived right on time, very quickly assessed the situation and determined what the problems were, and promptly fixed them. Very knowledgeable and professional technician, very responsive company (I called on Friday, and the technician arrived on Monday). I have had service performed by Dolling's Appliance & Refrigeration in the past, and found the same to be true both times. I would definitely recommend Dolling. Thank you!

I called the company because they were recommended on the Bosch website. On the phone, I explained the problem and broken door latch part in detail, assuming they would come with the part and do the repair. They did not bring the part, the technician took a few minutes to confirm what I had already told them on the phone and told me that the part should be in stock and they would call me the next day. For this visit they charged $ 85. They called the next day and informed me that the installation of the part would cost another $ 150 for labor only. I knew, it was a rather quick and easy repair, so I told them that I feel overcharged paying 150 on top of the 85 for the first visit and that I would not hire them under these circumstances. Fortunately, I found a great company on Angie's List, had the washer repaired quickly and professionally with a year warranty and ended up paying only $ 100 for labor, instead of the 85 plus 150, totaling $ 235 that Dolling's wanted to charge me.

It took me 3 month now to have my oven fixed. I called other companies and all they did they charged me the service call and never came back because they could not admit that they have no idea how a viking stove works. Then I found Dolling's on Angie's List. Unfortunately my Oven had more than only one part defect but I need to say the mechanics worked on it until even the last problem was fixed. I would use them again and even would recommend them to my friends. Great Service and reliable people.

Everything was handled exceptionally well, from the phone call, to scheduling the repair and billing.

VERY RESPONSIVE, VERY PROFESSIONAL, EXCELLENT WORK, FAIRLY PRICED My dryer died over the weekend and I was frantically calling several places. Dollings was extremely responsive and was able to come out that day. They identified and fixed the problem and also provided advice on how to prevent it in the future (had to get the vents cleaned and they recommended Vent Care who did an amazing job!). They did an excellent job and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. They are extremely courteous, professional, and helpful. I definitely will use them again!

The technician came to fix my refrigerator and recommended that we needed a new one. He was good and honest.

They explained to me that they could replace the motor in the dishwasher. But it was 20 years old or something and they would have had to replace the countertops so I am going to wait to do it until I renovate the kitchen. As far as the icemaker goes, they ordered an icemaker for me and installed it pretty quickly. They were highly recommended on Angie's List. The guy that came out was a very experienced professional. He was very honest and very personable. I had a great experience.

My dishwasher broke on Passover when we had 15 people for dinner. It made a funny noise and no water was getting the the top rack. I called and they came out the next day. The two technicians were excellent - they diagnosed the problem but said we needed a plumber. Later that evening, the owner called us to say he thought it might be something else if the original diagnosis was not correct. Thankfully my husband was able to fix the problem without needing the plumber. Unfortunately, in the process the door would not close properly. He called the next day and again spoke with the owner who said he would send the technicians back out. The came out and spent about 45 minutes getting the door to close properly and the dishwasher works as well as it did when we bought it (about 10 years ago). They did not charge us another service charge although the second visit was unrelated to the original problem. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them without reservation. A bonus was that the technicians were dog friendly as we have 2 good-sized dogs that like to be in the middle of everything.

They have been good for me. I have a good impression with the work they did. They arrived on time and they did the work and listened to me and they were attentive to getting it fixed so I think that they did a good job. I would tell other people they were good.

My icemaker began collecting water in the bottom of the bin.. Called Dolling and they came out promptly and on time. It was a while ago so I don't remember all the detail--price, etc.--but I remember being pleased with the tech and the company and will definitely call again if necessary.

The repair was done, but the ice maker was not working properly. Technician came back the day after I called replace another part, which was an additional $60. I think he did a good job, he was courteous and knowledgeable . As far as him having to come back a second time, this can happen to anyone. ,

I submitted a review on this appliance repair service earlier. Anyway an appointment was scheduled and they did not show up. I had to call to see if they were still coming. I was told that I called and canceled. Which I did not do. I had been waiting several hours and wanted the microwave fixed. Any way they rescheduled for the next day and they were on time. They arrived around 11:30 and were done and out the door within 15 minutes. I asked what was wrong and they said the main computer board had to be reset. They charged $140. For 10 minutes of work. The owner did send me some of the money back. $45. I found out later the only thing they did to reset the computer board was to unplug and the plug it back. We continued to have this problem with our microwave. My husband figured out what they did and we have been resetting it until recently even that did not work. My husband removed the filters and washed them because the error message kept saying to Change the filters. I also mentioned this error message to the repairmen who came and they ignored me. Plus I thought they should have said what they did to reset the computer. So far cleaning the filters seems to have fixed the problem.

i have a 10 year old Thermador oven that needed fixing....called a few places and they couldn't do Thermadors. My only issue is that it took them about 5 days to get out to the house b/c of their lack of available technicians. Also, $700 for a fix is pricey, but it beats buying a new one for several thousand dollars. Guys were great, on time, knew what was needed. Tehy didn't have the part but another technician in the town over did. They went to go get that part from the other Tech and fixed on the spot (an hour later) but at least it was done the day they showed up. would use them again.

Great job; saved us purchasing a new unit.
