The owner is Tim and he is great. He is unbelievable. I had to get it switched out in less than 2 weeks and permitted and moved through the city. All of that had to be done before closing on the house. He took care of everything. He was very professional. One day it rained and he called and said he couldn't come. He was very timely. He went over and above to get what we needed to get done in a very short time period. I would recommend him.

I recently joined Angie's List as I need various home repairs which included electrical. I called 2 companies from the List to get estimates one of which was Daughtry Electrical. Both companies showed up promptly and as promised and provided free estimates. I chose Tim Daughtrey as his price was so reasonable! Everything was done including changing some ceiling fans from hanging to flush mount which I wasn't sure could be done. I am so happy I found him on Angie's List and would definitely recommend his services!

I highly recommend them. I called them for some service and they told me how to do it free of charge. He called back when they couldn't come but they were very helpful and accommodating. I didn't use them we just have a phone conversation. He is very professional and went out of his way. He went above and beyond.

Tim came out once and hung one chandelier in my dining room. The second in my entry way was a floor display from Home Depot, and the chain/cord was not long enough. The additional cable/chain I bought was too thick for the light, and he did not have one to work with, so we made another appointment for him to come back and finish the work. He also provided me an estimate on the outside electrical line and outlet, and additional phone line. His second visit he finished hanging the light, rant the electrical line and phone outlet. He was finished in about 4 hours, and all was done very well. He left the areas as he found them, and I paid what had been estimated. He was on-time, courteous, and professional.

He was very good and very reasonable. He charged me a bit less because he said it did not take as long as he had expected, and I thought that was very nice of him.

I contacted Daughtry Electric to come out to my house for a free estimate. He was late arriving and took a picture of the work I needed done. Tim told me that he would call me to give me a price, but I never heard back from him.

Tim gave me an estimate over the phone, yesterday, and we made an appointment for him to do the work this morning. He was right on time. Even though Tim had asked many appropriate questions on the phone yesterday, it turned out that I had given him incorrect information on how much chain we had relative to what was needed to hang the chandelier. Not only wasn't there enough chain for the job, but there wasn't enough electrical cord on the chandelier itself. We had originally planned to install the chandelier using the existing box, which would have required a swag (as did our old chandelier. After consulting with Tim, we decided to have him create a new hole in the ceiling, cap the old one, and install a new box, so that the chandelier could hang straight down instead of using a swag. Tim was able to pull the cord through the ceiling to the new hole, saving time because he didn't have to go into the attic. The new chandelier looks way better without the swag, and Tim did a great job of patching the small hole in the ceiling where the hook had held the old chandelier. He moved our dining room table to do the work, and moved it back when completed, and left our home immaculately clean. At our request, he took the old chandelier away, but he double-checked with us before actually leaving, to make sure we really wanted it removed. One additional small complication, related to the dimmer, was that because we already had a dimmer for a different light (in the kitchen), Tim needed a special kind of plate for the wall to accommodate both dimmers. It turned out he did have what was needed -- an additional sign of how well-prepared he is. At the end of the job, we had a chandelier that surpassed our initial expectations in terms of how it looked after being installed, and the price charged was at the low end of what we expected to pay, based on the revised estimate Tim gave us after seeing what the job actually entailed. Tim is a superbly professional and skilled electrician, and we would recommend him without hesitation for anyone needing electrical work done.

It took him 25 minutes to do what he needed to do and his price was really fair.

As it turns out, the main outlet in my kitchen was burned out and needed to be rewired and replaced. He had the parts, did the job and now everything in my kitchen works!!!

He told us he needed to order parts for the light and he would be in touch. I called him 6 times regarding the light/ parts and never heard anything from him.

I found him on Angie's List. I will continue to use him in the future.

I missed his call so he left me a # where i could reach him. when i called i got his voice mail. I gave him my cell # and I never heard from him again

He was excellent. He was a gentleman and I cannot say enough about him. His pricing was reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I had several circuits that were causing lights to go off without actually tripping. Mr. Daughtry himself answered our call and came out late the same day. On his arrival, he looked at my home (built in the early 70's) and asked about my breaker box. He opened the box and pointed out that all of my breakers were loose and told me that the type of box used in a home of that era and in this area commonly had this issue. He "popped" each breaker back in place and after we checked those lights that had experienced the problem (all worked as they should), he closed up the box. When I asked about payment, he handed me several of his business cards and said there was no charge! I found Mr. Daughtry to be honest, personable, and ethical. I have already recommended him to a neighbor and I will call him in a minute if another issue should arise. This is how business should be done!

Tim Daughtry did an excellent job, and obviously took personal interest in doing a great job and recommending an approach that minimized the potential expense. Very congenial and professional.

He is very honest, hard working and very reasonable.Once he did not even need to come out he told me how to fix the problem on the phone and there was no charge. I have used him several times and will use him again.

The work he did do was very good. However he was not able to install 2 light timers. He said he was having trouble with this brand of light timer. Many of these units were defective. He said he would look around for another brand of light timer that was more reliable and call me back to set up a time to install the new light timers free of charge. It sounded like he was trying to bend over backwards to please since the reason I called him in the first place was to install these two timers. However he never called back. Maybe he lost our information. So I called him a couple of months later. He took my name and phone number, said he was sorry and would call me back to set up an appointment. Never called back.

Called them for a quote. They took a very long time to respond and seemed uninterested doing anything for me. I was surprised given the other reviews.

This is the second time I have used Tim. He came out promptly to give me an estimate and installed the chandelier the following week. I wanted it done by Thanksgiving. With nineteen foot ceilings it was not an easy job but he did it with ease. I am very fussy and I asked him and three different times to tweak something for me sending him back up the ladder. He did it all with a smile on his face. He then replaced the bathroom fan for me. Tim is excellent and I recommend him highly.

He came back and fixed the problem without charge. It took him two visits, but he did an excellent job. He told me if I ever needed service again it would be a free visit. He ended up coming back to help me get things set right in my circuit box so my new pool water heater would be installed correctly. The pool passed inspection and the inspector said whoever installed it did a good job! I would use him again in the future and I recommend others in my area use him as well!
