All in all my experience with Tim Daughtry was fantastic. So glad we know of a dependable electrician. Hire him, you won't be disappointed!

He did great. I was prepared to replace the front porch light fixture but he shared that the fixture was in good shape, just needed a minor repair, which he did. Secondly , I have a large ceiling fan with light fixture but the light fixture didn't work. A handyman had looked at it and told me that the balust had gone out, that it would be cheaper to replace the ceiling fan/light than to replace the balust. Disappointed, I bought a new ceiling fan.....and then decided to turn to Angie's List to find a reputable electrician to install it. Mr. Daughtry immediately reported that the handyman was incorrect.....it wasn't the balust (as there are no balust in ceiling light/fans). With a bit of time he figured out what the problem was and repaired it. So I'll be returning the ceiling fan and front porch light fixtures...........that means that Mr. Daughtry not only fixed the problems expertly, at a great price (even though I knew that he offered a 10% discount for first time customers, I wasn't going to ask for it as he did such a great job.....he gave me the discount anyway, without me asking for it), AND he saved me money by repairing what I already had rather than having to install new fixtures. Pleasant, timely, efficient,Mr. Daughtry seems to REALLY know his line of work. I'm calling him for all my future electrical concerns. And I would recommend him highly to all.

For a quite reasonable sum, Mr. Tim Daughtry assembled the generator we had purchased as well, and made all the arrangements for an inspector to come to our place to inspect the entire system upon completion of work. His price was very competitive; in fact, it was considerably less than another firm's estimate we had obtained. He was very pleasant, professional, and responsive, and we could not have been more pleased with Mr. Daughtry's work. We would not hesitate to use Daughtry Electric again, and highly recommend this firm to anyone needing electrical work in his or her home. The entire process went well from beginning to end. No complaints. whatsoever.

Hello, I have tried to contact this company to schedule an appointment to install an outlet in a storage room. I called them very early in the morning (Aug 22 at 8:30am) so I left a voicemail hoping they will return the call. After 10am I decided to call them back, a nice lady answered my call and she told me that the owner will call me to schedule the appointment. I am still waiting for that call. I already contact another electrician and the work was done. Thanks, Nelson

He was excellent all the way round. He came the same day and gave an estimate. He and my husband agreed on when he would come back to do the service. He came back that day at the time he agreed on. He did everything and got everything taken care off.

The owner of the company called after several days to set an appointment to look at the work to be done. We had electrical jobs in the yard. He was very nice and spend a great deal of time discussing my options. Told me he would get me an estimate within several days. However, I had to call him back to get the estimate. He broke out the cost by jobs which was extremely helpful since the price was somewhat overwhelming. I stated that I would talk to my husband and call him back. Once we agreed on which jobs 2 of the 5, he stated he would call me back with a date. Again, he did not call when he said he would, so I called him. Once the date was set, he called on that date and said he would be late. However, he did everything he said he would. And we are pleased with the work. He worked hard even in the rain. He gave me multiple suggestion on how to improve my lights. He was extremely friendly and I would use him again to complete the remainder of my jobs.

Don't expect a quick estimate and a quick appointment for work , company is a little slow for our time schedule .

Tim came on the appointed date, and did the repair work efficiently and at a reasonable price. He is very personable, and professional. We will call on him again.

We were so pleased to have light again in the kitchen! Now I had no reason not to cook! We will use Daughtry for all our electrical needs.

When Mr.Daughtry arrived promptly at the scheduled time, he immediately began the project. He worked steadily for 3 1/2 hours, replacing all the old fixtures (including one 8 footer). He brought everything he needed, from a ladder to a neat light that he wore on his forehead. I showed him what needed to be done, and he did not have to bug me once throughout the process. He worked quietly and diligently with minimal inconvenience to me, and left no mess when he finished.

Work requested was reviewed and an estimated provided. The following week the work was completed within 3 hours.

Mr. Daughtry is a true professional. I called him on Tuesday and by Wednesday he made the necessary repairs. He is courteous, punctual and he took the time to obtain parts which he did not have and return the same day to finish the job. In addition, to his professional spirit, Mr. Daughtry cleaned up after himself which is not always the case with contractors working on home projects. I am encouraging all of my friends to call Mr. Daughtry when they are in need of a professional for their electrical work.

I called Monday morning & Mr Daughtry showed up 2 hours later, as fast as I could ever ask for. The stove in my guest house worked but couldn't provide enough heat to cook food or boil water. Mr Daughtry seemed to know the problem just by my description over the phone. He came right when he said he would, & repaired the problem within 60 minutes. It was a loose wire somewhere in the wall connecting the outlet, as he thought. He did a brief inspection of my electrical system & advised me on some things that should be upgraded & improved--nothing dangerous or pressing, but things I might want to look into eventually.

Came in a timely manner to provide both estimate and do repairs. Only complaint was I had asked him to call again with an estimate for other project and he never did.

He was fabulous. I will use him again.

I choose Tim based on the reviews posted here, and I wasn't disappointed. He was very responsive, knowledgable, and professional, and he's a nice guy too :-) Tim installed an interconnect device in our circuit breaker panel so I could hook up a portable generator. After completing the installation, Tim walked me through the operation of the device to make sure I knew how to use it. Tim also installed an eye bolt on the outside wall of my home so I could lock the generator when using it. Finally, Tim checked the voltage coming in to my electric meter, because an AT&T U-verse technician had told me earlier there was a voltage leak (Tim didn't find any problems). I would definitely use Tim again for my electrical needs and highly recommend him.

Trouble free installation. Also used Tim for a small job of wiring gas stove & gas hot water heater ignitions.

came same day of call,checked electricbox for trip breakers,none.proceded to check all swtiches and outlets involved and found it was a wall outlet shorting the power out to those areas.changed outlet.here an hr and a half..137.00

Daughtry responded quickly to my inquiring phone call and scheduled a time to do the work. Tim Daughtry (owner) showed up on time, with anticipated materials in hand. Tim finished the scheduled work and took time to explain what had been done and why. He is focusing intently on customer service and it shows.

Tim showed up in the morning and began investigating the problem that I was having with a circuit breaker that wouldn't stay on. This involved opening up several light switches, testing outlets and moving a piano(!), in order to find the problem. He found the problem and fixed it and I now have outdoor lighting again. Then he installed a new outlet under a countertop. While he was there, I asked him if he would mind hooking up a new pool light I had installed, but not wired. He did this without hesitation. He also noticed the doorbell didn't work so he replaced the doorbell at no charge. All the work was first class and was completed in a couple of hours. He left the job site clean and tidy. I would definitely use him again for anything electrical.

Tim was great. Would call again if we have trouble.
