Description of Work: One thing went right, that salesman that came to my door for an appointment was on time, clean & pleasant. He gave me a quote and said somebody will call me for an appointment and they'll get it done in one day maybe two. This was a nine window job to fix various issues such as windows that would not crank open all the way, windows that were hard to crank open and or closed, and windows that just plain didn't work, this house was built in the late 80s. From there, everything went down hill. They called me to schedule an appointment and on the day of, about five minutes before the appointment they called to say they were running late on another job could they come another day. So the day of the next appointment, which was about a week later, they again called me about five minutes before the scheduled time which was about 2 PM, to tell me that they're going to be there around four. At 4 PM, two large, blonde brutes arrived with great big giant shoes, tracked dirt all over my house, as they're inspecting the windows. So the brutes told me that they could fix all the windows, but needed a part for the 4 upstairs windows. Meanwhile, downstairs, they replaced a spring in the kitchen window - one window fixed. Then about an hour later, they told me the other 4 downstairs windows were all fixed and they'll call when the part comes in for an appointment to finish the upstairs windows. I had to tell them wait, wait, don't leave, let me go around and check how the windows work. Reluctantly, they followed me from room to room, and all four windows still didn't work. So they started to work on them again, and said, this is the best we can do because we'll have to replace them to get them to work any better. Two weeks later I haven't heard back from them, so I called the company, and they said the parts were not in yet. Another two weeks passes, I call them back leave a message, nobody calls me back. Another week later I call and ask about the parts and they know nothing about it! Then, after multiple callbacks, they finally found the order sheet, and somebody told me that the parts have to come from China and are looking for them, they haven't found them yet. No apologies or any concern was conveyed by them. Okay, six weeks approximately have gone by, the guys come back and try to jury rig the upstairs windows. They cannot fix them; instead they write up an order for four new windows for $12,000, yes $12,000. The end result was they fixed the kitchen window, they partially fixed one downstairs window, they partially fixed one upstairs window, so that's one and 2 halves fixed. They still had the nerve to charge me $700 when the original cost of the whole job for the nine windows was about $800. So I felt I had to pay because of the brutish looking men that could come back and smash my windows. Anyway, I strongly recommend no one use this company. This was a total rip off and typical Florida ridiculousness. I wish I knew about Angie's list at the time, this whole mess would have been avoided. I found this company through the neighborhood flyer and the ad looked so nice but boy was I wrong!! I strongly recommend you do not hire this company!!!!
