Complete Sliding Doors & Windows

Alex, my technician, put a new cap track on the sliding glass door and installed 4 stainless steel rollers. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It took him approximately a little over an hour to complete the job. It is guaranteed on all parts and labor for 1 year. I was very happy with the work performed.

Mike was extremely professional. He called when he was 15 minutes away, arrived at the agreed upon time and went straight to work. He diagnosed and then repaired both doors by replacing worn and bent tracks on the bottom of the door frame and also replaced the rollers with high quality parts that will probably last another 20 years. Both doors now slide like they are on ice with no hardly any noise. Mike also recommended a preventative maintenance schedule and a product to use in order to keep everything smoothly operating. Last, Mike voluntarily let me know that there was a $50 discount since we had two doors repaired. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

Kitchen window went without a hitch part was ordered and a week later tech came back and installed it. window slides easily and no issues. With the sliding glass door he came and replaced wheel assembely.Dooor worked well for 2 weeks then started to stick a little. I called them back they sent a tech three days later. tech said the door had to be ground down, he went ahead and did it. did not charge me for the additional work, only for the service call 95 dollars. no problem. its been almost three weeks and the door slides like its on ice. I would have no problem using these people again. They stick to the appointment times, always call a day ahead to confirm and the quality of work is as I would expect. The also cleanup after they are done.

In early September, "Complete Sliding Door Co." of Hypoluxo FL. agreed to send a technician at no cost, to diagnose a problem, and provide an estimate for the the price of repair. Let me emphasize that the no-cost offer of an estimate was unequivocal. The difficulty was one 4X8 sliding glass door that was very difficult to open despite the fact that once open, it slides smoothly. The technician investigated the problem but could not definitively pinpoint the cause. Thus no estimate was ever provided. However, since the wooden door handles were vulnerable to breaking, he suggested new one-piece metal handles. He quoted a price of $40 for two handles that I agreed to, and he proceeded to install both handles. When it came to the bill, the price for the handles was $40, but I was shocked to see an additional $95 (preprinted in large bold numbers on the invoice) and titled, "Service Fee," for a total price of $135. I argued the fact that I was clearly told there would be no fee for service, but he insisted that that fee was company policy and had to be paid. At 87 years old, It's obvious to me that I'm not as sharp as I used to be since I not only paid the bill with a credit card, but I signed the contract, although there is nothing in the contract specifying that by .signing I was satisfied with the process. Obviously, I should have refused to pay, and demand that he remove the handles and leave. I still can't believe that I did not do so It is obvious that the fact that the technician did not quote the full price, or any additional cost, was (possibly deliberately?) deceptive. This was not only the equvalent of false advertising, a switch and bait scam, but totally unethical. To reiterate, the office had stated the service call was free, and the technician never mentioned any additional cost, just the $40. (I called their office after this happened posing as a new customer, and I was assured that there was no service fee for a visit for an estimate.) What troubles me even more, was the inexplicable attitude of the owner who I contacted the next day. After listening to the above story, she failed to defend her employee's deception by refusing to even discuss it. The single and only point she kept reiterating was her legalistic view of the affair, that since I signed the contract I was responsible, ignoring completely the ethical aspects. Now get this, and tell me if this is an example of the customary friendly approach that I am certain Angie's list would like to see. When I said I intended to call my credit card company to contest the charge, the owner said, "My lawyer is sitting here with me, and if you fail to pay the bill, we will lien your house. You will then have to hire a lawyerd to fight the lien." All this for a measly $95? Is this really an ethical and sensible businesswoman? But there's more. She finally tried to offer the excuse regarding my compalint about the qupted free Service Fee by admitting that the $95 was not really a Service Fee but a Labor Fee. Had I been told there was a labor fee before the work was done, I would have considered it, but I was not. Since the phrase "Labor Fee" appears nowhere on the contract form. My attorney tells me that since the wording on the contract is incorrect, that totally negates the legality of the contract, and my signature is moot. If you think this type of action is acceptable, or typical of an Angie?s list recommended company, I would be very disappointed since my previous experiences, and there have been several, have been most satisfactory. In fact I will be sending to Angie?s List a very complimentary review for Universal Tile in Deerfield Beach that recently cleaned the grout on my floors, doing a superb job. I would appreciate your reaction to this obviously unprincipled behavior.

The sliding glass door would not open properly and stuck partially open. The technician (Billy O'Connell) replaced the rollers at the bottom of the door and adjusted the door so that it worked smoothly. I could not be more pleased with the results. Billy represented the company in a very professional manner. I would not hesitate to use this contractor again.

I called Complete Doors on a Friday and they were here on the following Tuesday (Monday was a Holiday) The technician determined that the rollers were shot. He gave me a choice of 3 different grades of replacement rollers. I chose the middle grade and asked if they gave a discount for Angies List customers. He said he wasn't sure and called office and they gave me 10% off. Although I thought it a bit high, I was very happy with the professionalism of the work done.

May 2013, I called in to ask for a screen door installation, the lady tolded me price $199 and need $50 deposit. This conversation has no written records (since we had a earlier estimate). The deposit was charged on my credit card, then later they tell me ready to install but $299. arguing started to the manager. The lady (claimed to be the manager) said it is $299 if you want the door or we can get your deposit back. Both I and my tenant (the door will be installed for the rental) were in the atguing, I insisted to be installed at the promised price since we had waited too long. but no agreement. More ridiculous thing is, only two weeks later we ask for the deposit back, the manager (the lady sounds like the previous and claimed again is the manager) seems never remember what she said before and refuse any refund. My tenant is a good talker and explainer and witness but no use. they sound bad and shamless. They have beutifull website but doing dirty business. they don't care reputation after you pay.

The service person was named Mike. We were given a time by the office from 9 - 1PM. Mike called a 1/2 hour before his arrivial to let us know when he would arrive. He was pleasant, efficient and neat. I was very pleased.

They installed 3 handles, and locks and rollers to several doors. One huge sliding door and three other standard doors. They also lubricated the tracks.They gave a two-year warranty also.

They set up the date and time, called to confirm, then explained the different types of rollers and process and how to take care of the doors. I also had an Angie's List coupon that saved us a lot too!

After speaking with many friends that recommended complete sliding doors I finally decided to reach out to them and set up a free estimate. The ladies in the office were polite and knowledgeable. They said that due to the type of issue that was experiencing with my doors that they would be sending the owner out for the estimate. When Brian arrived he was friendly and polite. He explained why I was having issues and how their patented product could help to eliminate my problems all together without the expense of new sliders. I felt he was honest and I have him the go ahead to repair my sliders and install Eco Home Guard on my problematic doors. Now the daily lizard issue that I had is corrected and I couldn't be happier! We are completely satisfied with the work performed on our sliding glass door. The gentleman that came to our house, Adam, was very professional. Adam called to let us know when he would arrive and he did arrive on time. He knew exactly what was wrong with the door. He showed us a few different types of rollers. We chose the best ones simply because we are constantly using that door and wanted the best rollers. We watched everything he did. It was very interesting to see how the rollers are replaced. He made it look easy. This is not a job for the feint of heart. This sliding door has never worked this well. A great job. Thanks Adam!!!

I was extremely satisfied. The technician called me to tell me when he would be here and then showed up on time. He was very professional and clearly explained my options to me. I will definitely call them next time I need work on doors or windows.

The guys Complete Sliding Doors & Windows were okay. Their responsiveness is good. I didn’t get them the first and I left a message and they did callback. They accommodated on getting the guy out there. The price is reasonable but it’s not the best.

Mike was polite, on time, reasonably priced & finished quickly.

My sliding door would hardly budge at times. It often took two hands to open or close it! Complete Doors and Windows sent Alex and Brian to give us a free estimate. They quickly diagnosed the problem as the rollers needing replacement. They showed me the kinds of rollers that would fit and explained the benefits of each. The job to replace the rollers was done quickly, less than a half hour! During the post installation test, the doors worked VERY well, but Brian wasn't 100% satisfied with the smoothness and detected a slight bump in one of the track areas - which he replaced for free! These guys were good, they knew their stuff and went about their business in a very thorough and professional manner!

Mike, Was personable and quickly diagnosed the problem. He replaced the lock on the sliding door and was finished in less than 30 mins. I would definitely recommend Complete Sliding Door for any future repairs. However, the 9a-1p appointment is a little excessive.
