+ -1 moreHe lied. Did not do what I went there for (back up of my Mac). He even said he was Ivan, but his name is Germaine.
Description of Work: I wanted my Macintosh backed up to my external drive, which he did not do! Claimed Mac specialist, which he is not! He backed up to a windows PC which turned some of my files into exec files which are now worthless to me. Then he reformatted my drive and put a new 10.5 system on my Mac. But lost all of my contacts, bookmarks, email, everything. I did get most of my documents back. He does not know Macintosh! Even lost my programs! BTW - He claimed my external drive was no good! Wrong it works fine, he didn't even know it had been formatted for my Mac!

+ -1 moreIf you are not a computer genius like me, you sometimes need reliable and dependable help. I have found the best way to do that is to find someone who is one of those computer savvy people who is knowledgeable about website design, computer functions, and trouble shooting. In addition, I seek out companies that charge low prices, or at least fair prices for the work they are doing. I am happy to report that in this instance, my needs were fully met and I was completely satisfied. More importantly, my computer is now completely functional and I have had no more problematic instances to report.
Description of Work: My computer is one year old. I am not a computer genius. I used this company to provide me with computer repair services when I was experiencing problems. There was a problem with the hard drive and the machine was not properly executing commands. They resolved the problem by reinstalling some software and also gave me lesson on how I could prevent future problems.
