All Green Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

Don't ever use this company. They talked us into an upgrade to obtain their guarantee. But 4 of the chairs look worse now than before they came. I contacted them 3 times, and they always promised a redo. After two months they simply stated too much time had gone by and they wouldn't do anything. But I have documentation where they promised a free redo. Also, they promised organic materials. But I had an allergic reaction for weeks to whatever clearly non organic chemical the cleaning tech used. Don't believe ANY of their empty promised!

This is a dispatch service that sends independent contractor technicians who have no clue how to clean anything. In my case, the technician ruined my very expensive couch and upholstered bed after he told me he needed to “shampoo” it to get some light stains out. He charged me almost $600 for the service and won’t respond to any requests for a refund despite guaranteeing 80% of the stains would go away. The staining got much worse after his service.

The initial price was to be about $150.00. The tech showed up 2 hours before scheduled. Was friendly enough. I agreed to add deodorizing and stain treatment to the process. He got to work telling me he would move whatever furniture needed to be moved. My carpets are Berber and very light in color. I understand the carpets will never look like new. I left the tech to do his job. When I did peek in I noticed sections that looked dirty still. When I mentioned this to him he said it would look different when it dries. Give it a day or two to dry. Well, I did that and the carpets looked awful, splotchy. When he left I lifted up a yoga mat (he said he would move) and the carpet was bone dry under it! So I started looking closer, he had done the high traffic areas and that was it! Also my stairs now look worse. He missed areas on each step, so it only stands out more! When I called All Green to complain they give me the run around. They are a call center, so they have no interest in resolution. I have called insistently, sent email with pictures all to no avail. Do not use this company! I cannot tell you how frustrated I am with the results and the lack of concern from the company.

I was in the schedule for an 11am-1pm window so went to do my grocery shopping about 9am. The technician called at 9:30am and said he was on the way. Luckily my husband was home. I always tell all servicepeople coming to my home that we have 2 friendly but large dogs. They sent a technician that was terrified of dogs. I came home to two of my blankets on the floor to catch the water he was using to clean the couches. Not sure why he didn't have his own towels or something to bring into my home. He did ask my husband permission to use them but very unprofessional to use the homeowners blankets. He didn't move the furniture back and left my blankets on the floor when he left. When he moved the big piece of equipment he was using, there was a large puddle on the floor and he did not clean it up - I had to get my mop out to clean the puddle. I then had to do an extra load of laundry to clean the blankets he used. He also spoke very little English. People that enter homes for service need to have at least a working knowledge of the language. I had planned on asking for an estimate to clean another sofa but will not be calling them again and do not recommend their company.

The technician began the up sell immediately. We had just wanted the basic service and resisted his appeal for the most expensive package. We ultimately agreed for the basic service in the rooms and the extra special service for the stairs. The room cleaning was routine, but the carpets there were not overly dirty. The stairs, however, were in need of extra care. He blew through the cleaning like a man on fire, including the stairs where I thought it would have taken more time (this is not the first time we have cleaned carpeted stairs). However, the extra we paid only bought a few squirts from his sprayer as a "pre-treatment" and a rushed job with the machine. When he was through, the stairs showed streaks of gray where his machine had managed to stir up the dirt, but not remove it. He didn't get into the corners between the tread and riser and seemed not to have cleaned the risers at all. The biggest grievance, however, is with the management. We called to complain and wrote emails for two weeks and was told the owner was out for the Jewish holidays and would call when she returned on October 5. She didn't. I called again and was told she would call. She didn't. The web site is very non-specific. No address or email. Testimonials read as though they are phony. The person picking up the phone is obviously an answering service and the web site chat line told me they have several locations in the area, but would not tell me a specific one. In summary, All Green Carpet Cleaning operates by calling their short list of technicians when they get a call. However, since they are not really "local" they don't have overhead, or the desire to be good community members and stand behind their work. Bottom line: the work was below par and the customer service non-existent.
