"Was quoted $90 for the service. Was told that the $90 included diagnostics and minor labor. Talked to the repairman before he arrived and asked that he call me if it exceeded the $90. The repairman defrosted the line and charged me $240 total. There was no call back about the additional charge. Completely unauthorized. Now I have to fight Sears on the charge."

"Excellent! Our entire HVAC unit and air handling system have been problematic since we purchased our new construction home three years ago (that's another story!). Last night our HVAC unit fan stopped working. Called the company that installed the system after hours and had to leave a message. The next morning we finally heard from the company and they said they would try to get with us sometime today. That's when I decided to find a higher quality heating and air conditioning company. I'm glad we chose A-Best Air & Heat. From the first phone call, I was greeted promptly, professionally, and very courteously. After explaining the situation, the company representative would arrive sometime between 10:00 am and 12 pm (we called at approximately 8:30 am). At 10:30, Sam arrived, the Technician from the company. Very professional, and showed up wearing a face mask (smart touch during these times). He went to work right away on the HVAC unit and within a few minutes identified the source of the problem as being a power capacitor. Soon after Sam had our HVAC unit running again, and we had cool A/C! Another thing Sam did was listen to our story about the problem with the system installed in our then brand new home. Quite often we could go to bed at, say, 10 pm, with the inside of our house nice and cool, but then be woken in the middle of the night, having to kick off the covers because the A/C was no longer cooling. We have had the builder's HVAC subcontractor out to our house easily 10 times in these past two years. Again, the same problem would come up and was never adequately resolved. Sam did some troubleshooting, made some adjustments, then made some recommendations to us. I think we may well be on our way to resolving an issue that took another well known company 10 tries to fix, but no cigar yet. Highly recommended company!"

"They detailed one car but they never came back to detail the other one. I paid for them to clean them both and they still owe me that second detailing. I have talked to them since and they promised to take care of that. They have yet to fulfill that promise."

"Kennya, installed a pump from his car which looked extremely used on my washer and charged $188 for a repair that stated he offered a 90 day full warranty for his work. Once, he left, the washer didn't work nor did I witness it working before he left. I called him to explain the issue and he immediately said he would pick up the pump and provide a refund as he couldnt be bothered. After a few hours I tried to contact him again to see what time he was coming over but this time he created a brand new message on his phone that his company is now closed for another 2 weeks in which case to leave me high and dry and not come over like he said he would or ever again it appears. This is beyond unprofessional. I wish you better luck if you use him as he stole my money..."

"I ordered a part from this company for my dryer. They claim: 2 Day Quick Delivery! 365 Day Return Policy! Free Tech Support! I returned the unused part in their own packaging and they refused to provide a refund! Apparently, there's some hidden small print in their return policy that if you open the box and touch the product, that item is no longer eligible for a refund. They claim that the part showed signs of installation such as scuff marks. I asked for the part to be sent back to me for inspection by other professionals, but they refused because they disposed of the part. I've never encountered with such a scam company as this one and advise all to stay away from their misleadings! Good luck trying to get a refund from them, you're not getting one."
