The project went very smoothly. And, quite frankly, I could not believe the results. I highly recommend Brian Walker. He did everything he said he would do. And, I am very grateful. The patio pavers had not been properly installed and Mr. Walker and his team corrected that. They also replaced the previous drain which did not drain. I should have taken before and after pictures. The change is dramatic. My special thanks to Brian Walker and his team. They did a great job!
Description of Work: Brian Walker is a true pro .....he and his team of professionals did an incredible job. They changed my patio area into a showplace. This project included reinstalling a number of pavers around the pool to level the area. Also, the previously installed drain between the pool area and patio never worked...it was full of sand and did not drain. I am very pleased and so happy that I chose Walker Paving Industries to do the job.

Description of Work: The color and quality of the work was terrible. We had used him in the past but this last job was more than disappointing. To top it off we had a major problem getting a release from his supplier. The first palate of pavers laid were a very nice color after that the pavers had virtually no color. This indicated to us they were the bottom of the stack and the cheapest. Three years later and we are still MAD..

Brian Walker, the owner, communicated well during the quote process responding timely to my phone calls and emails. He and his two helpers arrived when scheduled and did an excellent job. Brian Walker was present during the work, attending to the fine details of the job, assuring my satisfaction. When they were sealing the pavers, I notice a difference between their work and that of a previous sealing contractor. Brian Walker hand brushed the sealer on the pavers along the perimeter of the house, pool cage and swimming pool. This way when he sprayed sealer on the interior pavers, no sealer got on the house walls, aluminum rails of the pool cage or in the swimming pool. Little details like this are important because bronze paint is currently pealing from the bottom aluminum rails of our pool cage due to sealer overspray from the previous sealing contractor. It's the activator in the sealer that causes damage to the paint on the aluminum rails. Brian estimated and priced the job based on 1.5 days of work. The leveling of the pavers took a day longer than anticipated and to do a good job, it took 2.5 days to complete the work. Brian did not ask for more money, but I paid him an extra $250 because of his attention to detail, quality work and good attitude. When I need additional paver work in the future, I will not hesitate to call Brian Walker.
Description of Work: We have a large deck of thick pavers (lanai/pool/entertainment area) where the pavers settled in a couple areas collecting water. The existing pavers needed to be pulled up so that additional sand could be added in the low spots. The pavers were previously sealed, so when they were pulled up, the old sand/sealer had to be scraped off on all 4 sides of each paver so that the pavers could be reused. Then the scraped pavers had to be set back in place in the proper pattern. Also, during rainstorms, a large volume of water accumulated at the back end of the paver deck, taking a long time to drain out beneath the aluminum pool cage. We added a 3 inch wide channel drain just inside of and parallel to the back wall of the pool cage. To insert this channel drain, a section of pavers had to be cut away in a straight line, to look aesthetically pleasing. When the work was completed, we had all of the pavers cleaned (pressure sprayed), sand added to the joints and resealed. This included the lanai/pool/entertainment area pavers, along with the sidewalk around our pool equipment, front sidewalk and front porch.
