Description of Work: I mentioned that I had seen a few scout ants a few weeks prior to my yearly visit, and the service tech said that was not surprising. He also said that they will come out and take care of any concern I have to prevent any bugs from becoming established. He was very knowledgeable about termite populations in Florida, and the differences in colonies and treatments in other states across the country.

Description of Work: Walk through. He then stated the work would be $700+. This was not the price given to me when I made the appointment. I was told, at the time of the appointment, that the work to be done would be $375.00- No work was done

It appears that there was a miscommunication here. Our customer service representatives do not give any quotes via telephone unless the prospective customer requests same and does not want to schedule a free inspection/proposal appointment. We especially discourage giving termite quotes over the telephone since the service is customized for the structure involved. The $375 quote would be for an annual general household pest control service which is being advertised as an Angie's List Storefront special and not a termite service. We have no record of the $375 proposal being given by our office personnel; however, an appointment was scheduled for a free inspection which did take place on 10-7-14. The proper free inspection and proposal was given at that time and was rejected. We do apologize for any miscommunication and inconvenience this may have caused. Rick Ricker

Description of Work: They were very nice, polite, & responsive. Person with whom I signed original contract(termite control),left Co. 2nd person I had to deal with also left to go North after telling me incorrect things. (Co. said he did NOT say them, so I felt they were calling me the liar). Had to call them back 7+times to treat same area. Last "tech" told me they cannot guarantee"furniture" (kitchen cabinets). This was my original complaint, so they should have told me this up front, & I would have chosen another Company. Very disappointed after finding them rated highly on Angie's List. (Rick did offer to give me a partial refund in July, but after speaking to Gail, I decided to give it a little more time...)

Areas of treatment are covered under the retreat agreement. Several call backs were made because when dealing with Drywood termite droppings in cabinets, gravity allows droppings to fall until cavities are empty. The call backs were the result of gravity and not live termites. As our agreement goes, we offer free service calls and retreats as needed. Thus, we serviced the customer as per agreement. The result of falling frass and droppings cannot be stopped until termite galleries are emptied which could take a very long time. Rick Ricker

The rating of D on punctuality and professionalism was discussed with customer. The customer advised that the technician was late but he did call and advised he would be running a little late due to traffic. Our policy is that if the technician will be more than 10 minutes late, they are to call the customer and advise them. This was done.
