When Tom arrived he first sprayed around the entire perimeter of the house and even did the garage. He then applied another type of retardant to the inside of the house paying attention to windows, doors and all wet areas of the house. He was very professional and quick. Of course the true test will be is we don't have any bugs this summer! All in all I recommend Rick Ricker Pest Control and would use them again.

This is a very large company. The person who came to our house seemed very uninvolved in the process. He asked few questions. Kind of wandered around, although he covered the area, spraying. When we pointed out one problem area he took a quick look and said it was termites and he wasn't treating for that. Our regular pest control company had said it was wood ants but the guy from Ricker's didn't respond when I told him that. Since he decided it was termites he didn't look for where they were entering the house from the outside. Ordinary household ant spray I applied seems to have taken care of the problem. I don't know how much lack of enthusiasm counts. He was on time, sprayed all the areas promised, and left. When we asked about return service he said they only sold yearly contracts. I don't need the service every quarter and do not want the spray put on that often due to children and pets. He didn't over other options.

We are satisfied with their service. They are very responsive and they come out when I call them. They are professional and punctual. They people that come out are easy to talk to and they answer our questions.

They were very thorough, spread out a fine dust in the attic, in cracks/openings in the wall baseboard, removed electrical outlet/switch covers applied a fine dust, put caulk type bait/killer in hidden area under cabinets. Also removed all spider webs from outside of house and sprayed outside along eaves and approx 2 foot wide area along outside foundation of house. Applied Termidor initially ( I think law allows only 1 treatment a year of Termidor). Sprayed outside around windows/doors. No spray inside house. Returned to retreat as needed which was only twice in 9 months. Explained everything clearly. This treatment was only for insects not termites. My house is approx 2800 sq/ft with 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. The result was much better than the previous exterminator, who came every 3 months a just sprayed inside the house. The insects I now find in the house are usually dead or dying and the amount of insects is greatly reduced. I am very satisfied and will continue to use them. By the way I live in a rural area with thick woods all around me. No neighbors at all. I definitely would recommend Rick Ritter.

This was one of the best business expierences ever. I got this through an Angie's List deal. I made an appointment for service which was very easy. The pest control person, Rick, showed up at the appointed time to start the job even though my residence is located quite some distance from his business. Very knowledgeable. He worked diligently and quietly trenching the foundation and then cleanly applied the termidor foam. Rick not only nswered all my questions regarding the installation of the prevention, but also the warranty that came with the service. I was very impressed. Would highly recommend this service and this five star company.

The only suggestion I would make is to call the client several days after the job is done and ask if everything was done correctly and make sure nothing went bad.

I do not recall making the appointment. I cancelled the first one. The contractor showed up and did his job.

He came twice and that was the end of my insect problem, would highly recommend him, he covers all FL except the panhandle.

He was on time (Early actually). Tom could not accommodate the earlier time; however, . He was punctual, very nice and quick, and did not take very long.

Rick Ricker Termite and Pest Control Inc did a very good job and I am very pleased. They are very nice people, very qualified and I think their honesty was appreciated. They came and did a review and they had to come from a distance as they aren't from this area and that didn't see to bother them and he showed me exactly what he was going to do and defined the problem which was termites and the treatment was different because they inject chemical through the concrete and it filters out into the ground and the killed the termites. He is such a master of pulverization of material that required the termites to look for water and when they go down where the water level is, the chemical is there and it kills them within a very short time and there hasn't been any evidence of termites. I am also going to call him and let him do the other two houses that I have. I was very pleased with them. He was very commendable and he did call one time for a check up. I was very satisfied with the quality and the fact that they made it clear of what the product was and what they were doing, I think that it also killed other bugs like roaches. I set up a time and they didn't linger on it, they showed up and they said that if they were going to be late, they would have let me know about it.

Rick Ricker Termite and Pest Control Inc. I bought a big deal purchase and it went pretty good. It was excellent. They were on time, did everything they were supposed to and as far as I'm concerned did it well. I have nothing bad to say about them.

Shortly before the contract expired I saw some more insects and Rick Ricker Termite and Pest Control Inc were more than willing to come right out and take care of it. They were very efficient, helpful, thorough, and they left so they wouldn't need to come back for a year. I like that they were willing to come back to take care of because it was within the year so that was very nice. Rick Ricker Termite and Pest Control Inc is less than a national chain I've used before.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They did try to get us to do additional services at an additional cost but we refused and didn't end up doing it. This was the first time we used them. We would recommend their service. They were on time and did good work. They were thorough. We had them come back to do a reapplication.

Arrived on time. Efficient, answered all questions, offered advise.

We called to schedule our first visit at the beginning of the year (purchased a coupon from Angie's List). The service tech came out as scheduled, very nice. My only issue was that it took several trips to treat the sugar ants. The bait they were using was not working the first two times, and finally after the third time we haven't had a problem since. Overall, I would say this company had staff that were professional (except for the office, I guess it is run by family and therefore they don't really seem to care how they speak to customers) and I would hire them again.

I had an ant problem (big black ants and sugar ants). An occasional dead cockroach was found. The provider contacted me promptly after I sent an e-mail and we set up and appointment for Saturday, May 18th at 4:30 pm. On the morning or May 18th, I pulled out the stove and the refrigerator and thoroughly cleaned the floor there. I left these appliances away from the wall. I also pulled all the furniture I was able to pull away from the baseboards in order to make the pest control treatment more effective. I also secured my curtains up to avoid damage. The technician, Mr. Tom Mahon came around the set time, introduced himself and proceeded to explain the service. and quot;Pest control treatment around the house, in the bathroom's nooks and crannies and the kitchenand quot;. I told him that the coupon I had bought said entire inside of the house. He insisted that the deal for inside the house was only the bathrooms and the kitchen. He also told me that for $65.00 only he was not going to work for more than half an hour. I told him that if that was the deal, I would rather have him leave and that I would request my money back. He said and quot;I will do it but the deal is only the bathrooms nooks and crannies and the kitchen, not the entire houseand quot;. He called his office but did not get an answer. My son was visiting and when he heard our conversation he came to the dinning room where we were and after Mr. Mahon told him that I had misunderstood the add. My son asked me to get the coupon from the computer, that the add said entire house. How was that a misunderstanding on my part? After Mr. Mahon read the add on the computer he continued to insist that it was a misunderstanding on our part but that he would do the entire house for the $65.00. When I went to open the gate for him to enter my backyard he informed me that he had called the office and that it was in fact the entire house, that the company had had a previous deal for only the bathrooms and kitchen. I thought that the company should have informed him of the work he was to complete. Under my supervision, Mr. Mahon sprayed the baseboards inside the house with one can of Phantom, harmless to humans and animals. We had to open all the windows as the odor was affecting me and I was coughing. I accompanied him all around the inside of the house as I was not going to leave him alone in my bedrooms. I pointed out several spots he missed and he sprayed them. He asked me if I wanted him to spray the counters and I declined. I became concerned with putting that product on my counters as I was cooking at the time. After he left, the owner called me to ask me what pest problem I had. He also told me that the product should have been sprayed on all window sills. I told him that the product had been sprayed around baseboards only. He told me that Mr. Mahon was very nervous and that he (Mr. Mahon) felt intimidated. I told him that I am a 69 year old woman and that he (Mr. Mahon) intimidated me. I told him and quot;Thank God my son was here because had I been by myself, I would have asked the man to leaveand quot;. Mr. Ricker asked me if I wanted him to send me another technician and I said and quot;No please, do not send me another technicianand quot;. The fact is that Mr. Mahon worked for 32 minutes only, counting the minutes he wasted discussing the deal, and that I still have sugar ants. I told the story to a friend of mine and she said that maybe Mr. Mahon wanted to charge me more money and pocket the money.

Extremely professional group! Rick Ricker always responded to issue extremely promptly. Not sure the yearly service works the greatest.. However, when we had any issue the were extremely prompt to resolve.

We have been using Rick's business for I don't know how long. They originally treated out house, so many years ago, for termites and have continued with monitoring them every since. Unfortunately a few years back we had to cancel our annual service for spraying for bugs but decided to reinstate it this year. We were given a time for their arrival and Warren called beforehand to say that he was running late - which really was early. This is the second time Warren has been at the house to treat for bugs and inspection which was nice. He even remembered our dog. Warren took his time and did his termite inspection and then sprayed the house for insects. Afterwards, he dicussed his findings and what to expect from the spraying. Luckily there were no termites and nor bugs. It says alot when a company can keep such quality employees. We will continue to use Rick's business for as long as we live in our house.

Project went very well as best as I can determine. This was a preventative measure.
