It has been much h better since we had them come out. I would and have been telling friends about the great results . The men are very professional and get the job done in a timely manner.

He was knowledgeable and wasn't afraid to get stung even though he did get one.

First they came out and gave me an estimate. They were very knowledgeable in their trade and fully explained to me the service that would be provided, and educated me greatly on the various insects and their habits, particularly for me, in this instance, my major concern of ants. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and since I have some knowledge of pests and pest control, I was able to discern that these people knew their business and the price was highly reasonable. On the date of service, Mr Ricker arrived promptly and, since he was not the one who had done the estimate, he immediately began by having me explain to him what areas I had seen pests in and we walked around and he described how he would treat each area and with what. He went over the house very thoroughly, attic, area over the lanai and pool, treated the eave corners in particular as there is some wood rot there, removed the light and plug sockets in the house to reach the inner wall areas, and accomplished it all efficiently and without interruption. I can't begin to describe how thoroughly he treated the house, but since I usually do my own, I can say he went above and beyond. I would recommend this company highly. I am writing this review inside the house and there is no odor at all, unlike when I do spraying. Quick, thorough, professional, well priced, they will be the ones I call if I need any future pest control. And, it came with a year warranty. Can't beat that.

Two guys were in a car in my driveway when I arrived. One guy did all the talking. He told me they had arrived an hour early, and had already sprayed the outside of the house. I had no way of verifying this information. I was then immediately told that the requested service (which I prepaid), would do no good--that I needed a more expensive service to rid my house of ants. The talker then entered my house and sprayed several window sills with a fluid from a small aerosol can which resembled a lysol container. The talker at one point stumbled in my garage, and bumped several items. I could not determine if he was impaired. He volunteered that he had a bad leg. Shortly thereafter, and after presenting me with an unsolicited estimate for additional services, the two guys departed.

Arrived on time if not a little early, was quick and thorough. Ants and roaches are gone and it has been a month.

They were unable to schedule for two weeks out. I had to cancel Big Deal and look elsewhere.

It was a great service. He was great with follow up. If we saw a bug he was just a phone call away. The office staff was friendly and courteous. The price is for the entire year.

office staff good friendly...set appointment for 12:30...scheduled with tenants to make arrangements. all set... at 12:15 called office friendly ...was told all set..if hes running late he would have called...12:31 received will be thete in 2 hours...called office and cancelled....a simple call by the tech and no one looses time. Update: The owner called and explained the situation. They came and fixed everything. Excellent service!

This company notified me in advance of their visit , which I like. Shortly after the technician arrived, he went over the specific work that would be done. In my case, I had a roach problem, and the technician explained that this would require more than one visit to completely eliminate the roaches. In addition to spraying for roaches, the technician also treated the outside of the house for other bugs. The technician was very professional in his work and answered all of my questions in detail. At the completion of the work, the technician explained what he did along with suggestions of things to do/ not do in the effort to eliminate roaches from my home. I would recommend this company to anyone who is having bug problems.

Nice guy who got there and asked me what bug problems I had and I showed him what the ants looked like. We also talked about the outside where there are Palmetto bugs. We discussed that I have pets, to confirm that nothing would be used that might harm them. He then went outside and sprayed around the window frames, door frames and the foundation. Inside the house, he sprayed or dusted every room even taking off switch and electric outlet covers to dust. After a very thorough process, he explained that I might see a new infestation, but that it would be brief. Well, I never saw another ant and still haven't seen any. . Rick Ricker did a terrific job, and although I hope to not need them again, If I ever do, I will definitely call them. Thank you for fixing my problem!

Over the next 3 weeks I noticed a lot of spiders and a few palmetto bugs and ants. I called them back to let them know they needed to come out and fix this. I spoke with Valerie Ricker and she told me they don't come back out unless I bought their annual service. Since I paid for a service that was not working I asked they come back out. She was not happy but did send someone else to spray again. The gentleman was very nice and said that the gel is only used when you purchase their annual service. He apologized and said that there is a disconnect between the office and the exterminators. The nice gentleman did leave a bottle of ant killer for me to use. I would not recommend their service to anyone. Don't fall for their little scam. You're paying them $75 to come into your home to do nothing but have them try to get more money out of you. As of today, I still have activity with ants and palmetto bugs.

The technician showed up on time and performed a pretty intensive external and internal treatment of the house. This is a recently vacated rental property with a pretty significant pest problem that hadn't been treated in a long time. As a result of the treatment that was provided, the pest problem seems to be going away pretty quickly. The service was great, the explanation of what was going on was articulate and thorough and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Everything went as planned. The technician was on time, did a good job and I am very please that I haven't seen a living pest in the house since the treatment :-) I'm a very happy customer!

I scheduled appointment for August 5 and Mark was the representative that came out and he showed up on time, but that was it. He didn't introduce himself when walked in the door and I had to ask his name before he left just so I know who I was dealing with. He immediately asked what the problem was and stood in my living room the entire time without inspecting the house. It is two stories so he had no way of determining what needed to be done without inspecting it. Tried to sell me annual plan and said no longer offered monthly or bi monthly options because their treatment is so good that only takes one time. I mentioned carpenter ants and wanted them taken care of so didn't become more of an issue and he jumped to conclusion without looking at anything that they must have a nest in the walls inside the house since it is wet outside. I asked about the one time treatment for $75 (deal I saw listed on Angie's List) and he knew nothing about it. He went on to state that Rick Ricker is his uncle and he just works for him in the summer when he is out of college, which proved he had no knowledge and lost credibility for the company. He told me the one time service would basically be a half a** job where they quickly spray chemicals around inside of house, but not thorough or as involved as annual contract. He actually called his cousin who also works for the company to ask him what the difference in the two plans were and besides not having a warranty which I brought up as being a difference, his cousin acted like one time service was a waste as well. I wanted to verify that both options came with free termite inspection, not because I think I have termites but an inspection would be valuable anyways. Again, he immediately said there was no way I had termites because it is newer construction so subterranean termtites had to be treated when built because of Florida law. This was without any inspection whatsoever. He gave me price for annual plan and then dropped it by $100 saying Rick is his uncle so he can charge whatever he wants. I was told I would have a follow up call in order to schedule treatment. On Friday, August 8 I called the company because I had not yet heard from them and wanted to let them know of the experience. If it was not for all the great reviews on Angie's List, I would have never used the company in the first place for a quote and definitely would have never followed up, but was hoping this representative was the exception to the professionalism that satisfied customers leave reviews about so wanted to let them know what happened. I spoke to the receptionist and she let me know Rick was out of town for the week and would be back Monday, but asked for the details of the poor experience. I explained them all to her in depth as noted above and she was very nice and apologetic and adamant that Rick would be following up with me when he returned on Monday, August 11. It has been almost two weeks and I still have not received a call.... UPDATE 8/28/14: As expected, Rick Ricker immediately responded to my review and followed up with a voicemail on August 22 even though he had not contacted me prior. He never gave me a chance to discuss it when I returned the call, but instead was on the defense immediately and denied any of it from happening because of what his employee (nephew) said so accused me of making it all up. I am not a liar and I did not pay for any service, so have nothing to gain except other customers knowing that this company is not as great as it appears by these reviews. Hopefully you do not have to have the same horrible experience if you decide to use them.

I was satisfied with the inside treatment. But I am concerned about the out side around the doorways, because they did it in the rain and it's been raining ever since.

This is the 2nd time I've used this company, and again they did an amazing job. Would definilty use again in the future!

The inspector determined the species of the beetle, which confines itself to hardwood, and he reviewed the extent of the damage. Although others have advised tenting and intense fumigation, this inspector suggested that we treat the problem by removing the hardwood paneling and treating more locally if warranted. This will be a huge pain, but I think it a far less invasive and less costly than fumigation. His analysis was, as were others, cost free. However, he left without a costly estimate for tenting or for any real recommendations that would benefit his company with future work. This company is in Tampa and I live on the east coast, but they cover almost all of Florida. I would highly recommend consulting with them for any pest extermination needs.

During this visit, Chris carefully examined the attic and every room of my home, identified areas where there were active termite colonies, and then thoroughly treated each area. He was professional and seemed genuinely interested in doing the best job possible. I definitely would use this company again.

I'm very pleased with the level of service and knowledge provided by Rick Ricker's associate David. The issues I faced were subterranean termites, dry wood termites and carpenter ants. Yikes! Who wants to deal with all that. The termite issue was addressed in the past but the carpenter ant problem was new. David, the associate who performed the inspection and provided the services was very professional, punctual and informative. His knowledge of the problem and his experience with successfully dealing with them put me at ease. When I scheduled service. Rick Ricker informed of the time David would be out to inspect the property. I received a courtesy call the day of informing me of the exact time he would arrive. David was on time. He asked lots of questions and took the time to listen which was very reassuring. He did a though inspection, and took immediate steps to address the problem areas. Before leaving, David gave me a price for their services. Which was very competitive based on his recommendation for the services needed. On the day of service, David arrived early. He addressed the problem areas and performed the services he said he would. David identified the causes of the carpenter ant problem (rotten fascia board, tree stump near edge of property, wood deck) and took action. He recommended the removal of dead wood near my property and the replacement of rotten fascia board. He also informed when the roof area is opened up for repair that he would be on call to come out and treat what ever is found, if anything. Additionally, he asked my to contact him so he can come out and per-treat the new construction and retreat the entire attic area (which I had informed him was done before) once rotten fascia board was replaced. After treating the outside. David secured the interior. Addressing all possible trails these little pests were using and might use to enter my home. He then took action on addressing the termite problem which had been previously addressed with the termidor product but he revisited the interior areas as a safe guard. He didn't have to, but he did. Not sure what else a home owner can ask for. I don't think any of us want's to deal with pests. But if and when they appear. It's nice to know there are companies like Rick Ricker and people like David who are there to handle the problem. It's been a few days since the initial treatment and I have not noticed any additional activity. Looking forward to having the root causes (fascia board replaced, removal of debris - tree stump and tree limbs) addressed and having those areas pre-treated. From my initial experience. I'm confident if any additional activity occurs it will be addressed. I would not hesitate to recommend David from Rick Ricker to anyone and I will continue to utilize their preventive services.

They are excellent, father and son team also they are very humble and nice. There warranty is 199.00 a year and they will not charge extra if they have to come back out and retreat.

From the beginning to end Rick Ricker's employees were punctual, curteous, honest, and thorough. I felt comfortable putting the important responsibility of termite erradication and prevention into their hands. I will update this review again if I need to call on the 1 year warranty follow-up service.
