Description of Work: The promotional offer at Angie's List was $1,900 for exterior house painting using 2 colors on a house up to 1,800 sq ft. I was given an additional estimate of $825 for additional footage, which I accepted. During the initial visit, I pointed out a couple of areas in the wood trim that would need repair before painting. I got an estimate for one repair, and was left under the impression that wood putty would be use to fill the other area. I accepted the estimate presented on the woodwork trim repair, issued by a person who was not part of the painting outfit. The repair was never done (Therefore I did pay for it). The patching with wood putty was never done. |The painting crew was very efficient and professional. They did good work in a short amount of time (2 days) and with minimal amount of mess. They used Sherwin-Williams paint of good quality, as advertised. | |If you need fast, plain vanilla work they can do it for you and well. But you will have to get all the repairs done ahead of time by another contractor. Otherwise you just get a paint over. In hindsight, I should have done that.

Description of Work: DLF painted my picket fence, about 600 feet total, both sides. They provided a prompt and friendly service, and cleaned everything up nicely.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's list deal for exterior painting up to 2000 sq ft for $1649.00. I requested my lanai ceiling to also be done (additional) and a couple additional preps, which added to the cost, which was still reasonable. They scheduled timely, very professional, and did a fantastic job! I have recommended them to a friend who hired them for interior painting, and was also pleased with their work.

Description of Work: "Jim the Painter" painted the entire interior of my home (2000 sf). He not only painted, he pulled off old wallpaper and moved some really heavy furniture pieces to ensure complete coverage. He also matched paint types (satin, semigloss) to the appropriate surfaces throughout. He wasted no time, but missed nothing of the job requirements. Six months later, the paint still looks brand new. He did a superb job for a reasonable fee and I would recommend his services to anyone.

Description of Work: I had the living room walls, woodwork and ceiling, the bedroom walls and woodwork and dining room walls and woodwork as well as the front door done. The price turned out higher than the initial estimate because I opted for a higher quality paint and asked them to repaint the crown molding as they had painted it the same finish as the walls and I wanted it to be the same gloss as the woodwork, I also added painting of the front door. |The quality of the work was very good but the painter forgot to finish the inside of some doors and cabinets. He came back to finish the job with no problem.

I had interviewed several contractors but, because part of the upper story was hard to reach, they either refused the job or did not seem confident they could complete it.I found DLF on Angie's List and saw their good reviews. When Jim saw the second story, he explained to me in detail how he would go about using scaffolding to reach the difficult spot. And the price was very reasonable. |I could not be more pleased. Jim stayed in touch with me through the entire process, kept to the time schedule we had arranged, did a beautiful job on the house, and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend DLF without reservations.

Description of Work: I used DLF 8 years ago for my first exterior house painting and I'd recommend them to everyone. They were backed up on jobs, so I used a company, not on Angie's list, that was considerable cheaper, did a decent job.

Description of Work: Sinkhole house beautiful again. Cracks everywhere and rotting wood in places were just some of the problems with my house. Repair was done perfectly. This job was bid almost $2000 more and 10 days longer by other professionals. My house was done in three days and I have absolutly NO complaints. Jim and John did fantastic. Description of Work: Jim and his crew painted the exterior of my house and did an excellent job. I've recommended him to 2 people in my neighborhood since who liked what he did and asked for his number. I know he was unable to do work for the first neighbor who asked, as she needed it done quickly and he had a few jobs ahead of her, not sure about the second as it was very recent. Jim is knowledgeable, professional, and from what I can tell very trustworthy. His prices were very reasonable. I plan to use him again in the future.
