Azur Pool Service

Sadly, this is not a good review, especially after I had come to expect better service after being with them for several years. There was a considerable amount of neglect with my pool, including, but not limited to: *No chemicals added *Build-up around the upper tiles indicating they were not sweeping/cleaning the pool *Build-up on the filter cartridge, indicating they were not cleaning the filter on a regular basis *Broken filter parts, including a bent rod, broken gaskets, missing rubber sealers, etc. I was advised that the last time someone attempted to get into the filter, they had to force it closed, breaking all the parts inside. *Vacuum not working properly because of all the build-up and broken parts in the filter When confronted with the issues, Mario’s true colors showed and he denied everything, shifting the blame to me and saying that it was all wear and tear. He claimed that there’s no way the metal rod from the filter can be bent by a human being (this was proven by at least 4 other pool professionals that this is false). Meanwhile, at no point during the past few months, did any of the employees approach me about parts needing to be replaced or that anything was wrong with the filter. It was neglect, pure and simple. He was "generous" enough to give me a pro-rated refund for February (which he has since rescinded, as it no longer shows up in my bank account), but when I attempted to discuss the $205 to replace all of the broken filter parts, he got extremely rude. I thanked him and told him to please enjoy all the negative reviews I’ll be leaving all over the internet. It's probably not worth it to pursue a civil court case to get my money back, but I figured the best thing I can do will be to leave reviews in as many places as I can, so people are at least aware that this can happen to them. So, thanks to Tony Garcia & G4 Pool Cleaning, I’ll be receiving weekly service from a family-owned business that actually cares about their customers, and that makes all of the hassle so much better. They helped me get my pool back to where it's supposed to be and I look forward to working with them.

I engaged Azure Pool Service to provide weekly cleaning and chemical services for my salt pool, signing a contract that required a 2-week notice for termination. Unfortunately, my experience with their service was disappointing. From the outset, I had issues with the accuracy of their salt test results, which were consistently lower than the systems reading. Despite my efforts to bring this to their attention, it took two separate notifications and the unneeded addition of multiple bags of salt to raise the levels to over 4100ppm, well above the industry standard and the recommended range of 2700 - 3400 PPM. I was concerned not only about the overly salty experience for swimmers but also about the potential for corrosion of metal components in the system and warranty issues down the line. Unfortunately, on November 30, following raising concerns about the salt levels in our pool, I received a communication from Azure Pools informing me that they would no longer service my account, without providing the required 2-weeks notice. This was a clear breach of our contract, and I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Overall, I cannot recommend Azure Pool Service based on my experience. Their service was unreliable and inaccurate, and they failed to meet their contractual obligations.

The owner is a dishonest liar, he offered me a 50 dollar credit for a referral and I asked that it be given to my pool tech Jessie instead since he does such a nice job. Not only did he not give the 50 dollars to the tech, he pulled him off my acct so I wouldn't find out and then said it was because I complained which is an absolute lie. You cannot hold an intelligent conversation with the owner because he is hot headed and has zero respect for his clients and chose greed over doing what's right. Last month or so my pool has looked horrible and been dirty and when I called to inquire I was told it would be looked at but never was, the owner is unprofessional and a liar, would never recommend again and will be sure to tell all my neighbors what you did and hope all my referrals cancel service with you. Word of mouth goes a long way, learn how to treat people.

Absolutely perfect! This is the best money I’ve ever spent. Our pool is constantly perfect and it’s a pleasure to work with and talk to Mario and Jesse.

They came out quickly, did a great job, even sent me pictures of the work they had done. The tenants were extremely impressed.

We previously had a regular service contract. We were extremely disappointed, and had to get rid of them. It took two months to find Azul Pool Service, so an already problem pool became severe. The water was so green, we could not see the bottom. The timer didn't work. The filter ring didn't fit any more, and the filter housing leaked badly. In a little more than a week, Mario repaired the filter assembly, replaced the timer, and rescued the pool. The pool is cleaner now than it has been in two years. We could not be more impressed.

They are fabulous always on time, always thorough and the staff and owners are super friendly. I’ve had many pool companies and they are by far the best

Excellent. This is a top-notch operation. Mario is knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and personable. It’s a pleasure working with him and the pool looks great.

I originally hired another pool company. That company said all the right things and answered my questions. I have never owned a pool before so I didnt know any different. But the pool felt like sandpaper (I was told it needed time since it was new) and I began seeing Brown spots. I called Azur pool services and they came out immediately and I found out the pool had severe scaling and calcium deposits in the filter runining it. Additionally, the chemical balance was way off. I paid for the scaling removal and new filter and within 4-5 days it was remarkably better!! Azur was able to get the chemicals balanced, used a metal remover to get rid of the scaling, and cleaned the pool the right way. I should have gone with Mario of Azur pool services the first time. Thank you for being professional, responsive, and your company is worth every penny to maintain my new pool. I highly recommend Azur Pool Services in Wesley Chapel!!!

Great service. Always notifies us prior to arrival

Mario was here the next day after I called. My pool had been green for 3 weeks. My pool service and I tried everything but to no avail. After Mario treated the pool each day it improved it is now day 3 and it is almost clear. A couple of more days and we are ready to swim! Highly recommended!

Unbelievable! There is no comparison to our previous service ... absolute professional service! Went the extra mile to check our sand filter as the pump seemed to be struggling according to the tech. Completed the inspection, cleaned the filter, but only after making sure I saw what was wrong ... even though I told him I trusted his word. Both gentlemen were quick, courteous, and professional!

Although we had a satisfactory relationship with our previous pool service provider, that owner had a permanent health setback, so we were compelled to find a new service provider. After researching via Angie's List, with specific interest in finding a provider close to us in Wesley Chapel, I contacted Mario. Based on his visit, we immediately began working together. To say the least, Mario and his colleague Doug have been stars. Even during Mario's initial visit and consultation, he made observations and recommendations we had never received, and he made extra effort to correct a few things right away. Since then, Doug's regular service has been great, and I really appreciate the detailed report he provides regarding chemical levels, etc. Just yesterday, I found a leak in our pool chlorinator (faulty seal and cracked hose). Mario was able to visit and fix it in less than two hours, and our system was back up and running. Sincere thanks for your efforts, Mario and Doug. I highly recommend Azur Pool Service.

Azur Pool does amazing work. I recently contacted them regarding my pool. I spoke with Mario and he had someone come out the next day to look into the issue. The end results were amazing! This is a trustworthy, customer oriented company with competitive prices. Very happy with the decision to go with Azur Pool Service.

They are wonderful to work with, the owner is very hands on and makes sure things are done properly. They really go above and beyond, and really pay attention to detail. They are also very responsive and helpful. They have even come out after hours when I have had things come up. I highly recommend them to others

They came twice, and have done a really great job.

So far they have been good. They adjust the chemicals in the pool, clean it, and adjust the temperature so we don't have to.

Azur has always been great. They've maintained my pool and done pressure washing when I needed it.
