I brought two laptops into Allen, because they were not charging. Immediately, he noticed the Dell had a generic charger, and he commented the charger was probably bad. He had a genuine Dell charger, put it on, and it worked. He said Dell computers have problems with generic chargers. He gave me the option of buying his or going online and purchasing it from someone else. Of course, I purchased from him. His diagnosis was free. He also made sure the computer booted up properly before I left to make sure I wouldn't have problems when I got home. The other computer was an HP with a generic charger. He put a genuine HP charger on, and it worked until he moved the computer. He said there was a problem where the charger goes into the computer. He said this would be expensive to fix, and he said due to the age of the computer, this wouldn't be worth it. No charge for this diagnosis. He asked if I would be able to get retrieve the files, and I said I had another HP battery at home, and I would be able to move the files. I definitely recommend going to Allen Gillepie. He is fair and excellent at what he does.

We stopped in a few days prior to getting the work done on our computer. Allen was very nice. He explained what he would do and he provided a quote. What he quoted was what he charged us. Allen has very good customer service skills and he explained himself very well. We dropped the computer off at 9:30am and he had the computer done by 3pm the same day! When we received the computer back, there were no problems, it worked like a champ! We would definitely recommend Allen to do your computer repair work!
