This is a great company to deal with. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend them. I had someone else come in and give me an estimate on attic insulation but they were not nearly as thorough as energy sheriffs. Energy sheriffs explained that I was losing so much air in my attic because my ducts weren't sealed and they completely sealed them and they also sealed holes that animals could get in and out of causing damage. The other company wasn't going to fix that for me. Energy sheriffs took pictures of my attic and showed me the damage, so I felt that I could trust what he was saying and he took after pictures, to show me the completed work. The main guy I dealt with is Sal and he was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this company. They were professional, on time and did their job so thoroughly. I am so glad I hired them to do this job. If I would have gone with the other company I was looking at for insulation, they wouldn't have repaired what needed to be repaired first, they would have just done the insulation forgeting the important other aspects of the job.Thank you energy sheriffs for a job well done!

EXCELLENT!!!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this company. He called to say he was on his way and showed up on schedule!!! A big plus to me. He explained what he and his worker were going to do and got right to work. He worked on setting up the machine while his worker repaired and basically reinstalled my front door (which was not part of the package) and it works/closes now better the ever. They both worked non stop and very professionally. When his investigation was complete he showed us all the areas were we could impove. He did not try to sell us all different services or behave pushy at all. We had them seal a few things and in the future will DEFINITELY USE ONLY HIS COME!!! He was very professional and courteous and anyone using his service I believe would be very HAPPY!!

Energy Sheriffs arrived on time for the initial appointment and were very professional. Sal Cavalieri, owner and his employee wore covers over their shoes to insure they did not track dirt into the house. Sal took the time to explain the initial process and spent a few hours in the house reviewing each area of the house for air leaks. They also examined the attic for sufficient insulation. After the initial testing, Sal explained to me and showed me the areas that needed sealing and the processes that they would use to do the sealing. Sal also explained to me what he would do with the doors that it as obvious there were air leaks (I could see daylight around the doors) Sal also gave me in writing the checklist he made with the recommendations to save energy. The initial testing was $99 for Angies List members and Sal gave me a discount for the $99 so essentially the initial examination was free. The total cost of the repairs was $1035 which included sales tax. I then contracted Energy Sheriffs to come back on 22OCT to do the work. I gave Sal a 50% deposit. On 22OCT13, Sal and his employee arrived on time and proceeded to work. They worked all day long and were extremely professional, doing their work and trying to minimize any disruption to me and my family. Sal contacted me when he wanted to either show me something or he needed me to do something. Sal and his employee had total respect and professionalism while doing the work. You could see that he loves what he does (how refreshing) After working all day on 22OCT13, Sal and his employee had to return on 23OCT13 to finish the doors. Once again ,they arrived on time and did a fantastic job on both the door leading to the garage and the front door. The garage door is now self closing and both doors are now completely sealed of air leaks. Sal also installed a Carbon Dioxide alarm that he suggested I buy in the garage. After they finished, Sal reviewed and showed me everything that they did. There were no surprises, no hidden charges and all work was professionally done. I told Sal that in one year I would contact him to show him how much money I saved on my electric bill. I am also totally confident that if I need him to redo any work in the future, it will be done promptly and the matter resolved to my satisfaction. Energy Sheriffs and Sal are professional, they love what they do and perform a very valuable service. Not only will the work pay for itself within 3-4 years, I am no longer wasting valuable energy. I highly recommend Sal and Energy Sheriffs to do the same to your house or business. I am a very satisfied customer. It is rare these days to find companies like Energy Sheriffs and owners like Sal that are a pleasure to do business with.

Never set up a service date, company seemed very good.

They were very professional, on time, and did a great job in their workmanship and attention to detail but I found their prices to be extremely high when compared to similar quotes I had received from other companies.

if it is completed. All the doors and windows inside sealed and repaired and caulk some of the areas inside kitchen ,dinning room and living room. Suction the dirt all over and all over the ceiling and bathrooms. also gave me some lighting bulbs for the 2 bathrooms wch is lifetime warranty, isn't it great. Job well done.

THEY WERE SO NICE, THEY TOOK THE TIME TO TELL ME ALL THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND THEN AGAIN WHAT THEY DID. THEY EXPLAINED EVERY PURPOSE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. THEY COMPLETELY ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. THEY EVEN GAVE ME ADVISE ON HOW TO LOWER MY ENERGY BILL IN THE FUTURE. I GIVE THEM 100% IN ALL CATEGORIES!

They arrived at the scheduled time and called me before their arrival. Sal and Louis were both very polite and professional and they got to work immediately. Really cool technology to find out where the house is leaking air and they found a lot! I was really surprised because my house is built in 2005 and in good condition, but with their technology, you can really physically feel the air coming into the house through all sorts of holes and gaps (under the sink, near the AC, underneath the molding, corners of windows, etc). The Angie's deal only covered the audit, weather stripping and caulking for up to 1 tube of caulking materials. But since they identified multiple problem spots, I hired them to fix any many as possible. They ended up spending nearly the whole day working on my house, even cleaned the AC units and all the stairs/floors where they had worked on. Very nice people and very professional. Highly recommended!

The two young men who provided the service were on time and professional. They provided a print out statement of my house's current state efficiency and future improvements that would increase efficiency. There was no mess and the price was as stated on line. However I do not recall the amount except that I thought it was reasonable for the service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was excellent. It was very, very good. They were punctual. They took the time to explain everything they were doing. It took around 2 hours and we could definitely tell the difference especially in the attic. He did weatherstripping around the door to the attic because we could feel the heat. He showed us where the heat was coming from. He also did it around the doors. It was harder to open the doors at first because of the weatherstripping but we could tell it was a very good seal. They did a very good job. We were very happy with them. We bought some energy efficient light bulbs for around $60-$80 from them.

I was told the team would be at my house between 8 and 9 AM and the entire process would take about 3 hours. The two man team showed up at 8 ready to work with a warm welcome, identifying themselves, and began explaining the work that would be performed. The test begins with an exterior inspection of the home and surrounding area. Next was inspecting the attic, insulation, and air ducts. A thermal reader and digital photographs are taken which are used to show you items identified during the testing. Inside the house a negative pressurization fan is attached to my front door and powered on. The AC is turned off during this process so it does not interfere with the testing, so consider a cooler day and not having young kids in the house if it is summer time. This was not an issue for me but some 'food for thought'. The team goes from room to room checking air ducts, doors, window sills and seals, caulking, cabinets, plumbing into the walls, and any other spot that might cause unwanted airflow, and identifying items that can be corrected to save money and be more efficient such as changing old vanity light bulbs that produce a lot of heat and create humidity. Chris took the time to go through the house with me to show all the items the team discovered, answered all of my questions, and provided suggestions. Upon completion a report is generated along with mediation suggestions, and if the company provides the service to repair, a price they charge to come back and perform repairs you select to be done. There was no pressure to buy anything from them, no mess, and very informative.

The first time went very well. They're out here today doing some additional work. I hired them to do some additional work that they recommended. I thought they were very detailed and very clear. They showed me everything. They had good customer service. They explained everything to me well. That's why I was motivated to hire to complete some work. They discounted what I had already purchased through the big deal towards the cost of today's work.

They are very nice, and professional, knowledgeable. Don't know if it really lowered my a/c bill though. Showed me some of the A/C ducts were not even connected to the vents . I had alot of air coming in under my windows! Sealed up holes under the sinks, maybe I'll get less bugs.

They were fine. I don't think they could have done anything better. They were knowledgeable and thorough. They knew what to look for like any kind of person that is working on your home.

I am very pleased with the work performed by Energy Sheriffs. beside insulating my attic they did a complete energy study of my home and found a number of air leak which they sealed. Sal and his team were very professional they were on time ,and cleaned up after them self's. Sal was very good about explaining all details of the job before starting and as the job progressed. I would have no problem recommending them to any one.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out very well. He was very nice and very competent. They arrived on time, I have no complaints, and I hired them again to do some more work for me. They were very courteous, they were very concerned about keeping the house clean. He went over and above what I had hired him to do, and he gave me some good advise. They are coming back next Thursday.

In the end they sealed the condo so well that my electric bills for June, July, and August, 2013 have been approximately 1/3- that's right- one third- of what they were in 2012! The only other change was that I had a window tint put on several west facing windows- and I will write a positive review for that company also. It is only now that I can appreciate the benefits of what the service has brought me. At the time the Energy Sheriffs sealed the condo I realized that the hot air would not be able to get in. Only now am I realizing how much they have saved me. The cost of having their service has been more than paid for in what I have saved in my electric bills this summer! What a great company!

They found areas around the house that were leaking air to the outside and advised us and sealed most of them. Very professional and went beyond our expectations. I hired another national company to seal off the house from rodents, and they even complimented the job that Energy Sheriffs did especially at the price. In detail, they sealed vents that were exposed from the attic to the main house, sealed all of the doors and also did an impeccable job with adding and sealing off an attic door. I have recommended these guys too several of my friends.

The two technicians arrived on time and were extremely easy to work with. They checked out our entire two story home and found every space where we loose AC. The system they use to determine leakage is awesome. In addition, they check the lighting systems, panels, water heater, outlets, every aspect of your home energy usage. I will please with the recommendations and understand what i have to do now to make the home more secure and energy efficient. I will more than pay back the cost in a few months. Everyone should do this in South Florida to save money and energy. Excellent work. Hire them.

Professional, gave useful ideas. No pressure quote on repairs.

They showed that the windows were not properly caulked sealed and that a lot of heat was coming into the house through all the windows. They were able to caulk all the windows to minimize that. They also pointed out that the can lighting in my house was over 300 degrees per bulb and that having all 40 on at the same time could easily raise the temperature. Probably the best thing that they did for me was to go in the attic and show me how much cold air the ductwork in my house was leaking into the attic. Because of this, I decided to replace all my ductwork and my bill has gone down a lot and the house is much cooler than before. Thanks!

Patricia and Luis arrived on time. They performed a thorough inspection, made thier recommendations and provide the services listed above. They were very careful not to track dirt in my house, putting on shoe covers whenever inside. There were courteous and professional. They spent a total of 5 hours at my home. I am completely satisfied with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone.

The service was excellent. Included in the initial cost was not only caulking of windows but they had to repair some older windows before they could be caulked, which they spent quite some time at, and did not charge extra. Two of my doors required a special device in order to seal them, which cost $25 extra each, but they also had to rehang one of the doors, which my handyman had done badly, repair the thresholds, file down uneven edges, and several other things which were all included in the $25. Their inspection was thorough and detailed, and they explained everything to me, step by step. I wanted an interior door weatherstripped for soundproofing, and even though that is not supposed to be included, they did it for no extra charge. The test they perform to find leaks was very interesting and revealing, and their quote to return and seal up all those leaks was extremely reasonable. I will definitely have them come back to finish the job. They also made recommendations for other work to be done to the house, that is outside the scope of their work, that will help to contain energy loss. I was very impressed with their service, punctuality, professionalism, price and willingness to go above and beyond to do the job right. They put in several extra hours of work for a very minimal extra charge which really mostly covered the materials. I feel I made an excellent investment

I purchased the Big Deal for $149 and they reviewed the issues with the energy loss I was having. They performed multiple tests and placed weather stripping on problem areas I had. I did have multiple issues which they couldn't fix at the time. What they did which was great was give me ideas on how to fix it as opposed to trying to upsell.
