Well worth the money. They were extremely professional and very thorough. Sal showed me every area that air was leaking in the house and made suggestions on what should be repaired by order of importance. Everything was explained very well and I never felt like I was being pushed towards spending more . I actually felt like I was getting too much work done for too little money. I guess there's a first time for everything. Just sealing the little hatch to the attic in a closed upstairs closet has made a noticeable difference in the temperature upstairs. That alone was worth the money. I HIGHLY recommend Energy Sheriffs and will definitely use them again in the future.

I am really pleased with the whole experience. Armando was very knowledgable and professional. He and his assistant worked neatly, even wearing shoe covers to avoid tracking in dirty footprints. Throughout the visit, Armando explained what they were doing and why. At the end of his analysis, he printed out a custom energy survey with some recommendations that will lower our energy bills further, and projected how long it would take for the new energy improvements to pay for themselves. This was the first "Big Deal" I signed up for on Angie's List and I had no idea what to expect. I actually purchased it in August of 2012, and had put off scheduling it for a long time. When I finally had the time to do it, Armando was very co-operative and I can't stress enough how impressed I was with his service. I think all South Florida homeowners could benefit greatly from a visit with Armando & the Energy Sheriffs.

They did a great job very professional. did a complete energy audit and provide detailed information on what could be done to help save money by making my home more energy efficient . will be using them again to complete items recommend to help insulate my home.

The technician was prompt and professional. We started with an analysis of leaks and openings allowing the air to escape. We then contracted them to come and seal up the leaks around windows, doors and vents. We have already seen a difference in energy efficiency

I exchanged a few e-mails with Energy Sheriffs. They were asking for a monthly utility bill and how much usage I have and I didn’t feel that it was necessary. I thought I went to the wrong company and went with another company to recaulk my windows.

The technicians arrived promptly and stayed quite a while. They did a number of tests, walked me through what they were doing at each stage, and were very personable, with a positive attitude. In the end they made a number of suggestions, stating what kind of energy savings I could expect with each modification, but the savings were relatively small relative to the cost for each. They did apply some foam insulation around water pipes entering the home, but the weatherstripping they applied to the doors was the stick-on foam strips you see in the hardware store for a couple of bucks, and it was absolutely worthless. The strips fell off after a few door openings, and when I did some remodeling my contractor replaced them with professional grade weatherstripping that actually did the job. While it did provide some peace of mind to confirm that there were no big energy holes in my house, I was turned off by the cheap weatherstripping, and wasn't really sure that the service was worth the money.

Prompt arrival. very nice and professional. wore booties in house - nice touch. Very interesting and educating. Did above and beyond job on attic door. Will certainly consider for future service.

This deal worked out great. They were on time and responsive. They were very patient with me when going through the energy audit.

They did a great job, gave recommendations for areas of the house. Also did a complete energy audit and again great job. We have ordered some extra items from them and will be having them back to complete other work for us.

I have had a good experience with them. They were very efficient. They found all the energy leaks and suggested ways to save money. They weren't pushy about selling the products.

The service was great. They were very professional.

Problem is they could not schedule the service when I could be there. so instead of refunding my money or allowing it to be sone after the coupon expiration, they just kept my funds and performed no service. I got nothing for my $$.

Salvatore was on time, professional and an absolute delight to work with. Both he and his assistant worked efficiently and go the job done in the shortest amount of time with the least amount of disruption. He was very thorough and explained every step of the way exactly what he was doing and what he found.

Energy Sheriffs contacted me as soon as I bought the deal. Great communication. Sal came out to our home and did a fantastic job of testing our energy efficiency. He weatherstripped a few doors in our home, the attic and caulked many areas to make us more efficient. He made some great recommendations to add in the future. Our home is relatively new and we were happy to hear that it was well built. One big problem was the pocket doors in our home. Had no idea the amount of air we are losing. Thanks to Sal and his co worker for doing a great job. Being friendly and professional was also appreciated!

The two Energy Sheriffs reps arrived on time and were very efficient and informative. One of them rebuilt my entrance hatch to the attic. The hatch door is now about 3 times as thick with insulation installed around the edges. The other person informed me of the cost of running the appliances and electronics, and identified air leaks inside and outside the house using a thermal meter and visual. He identified items such a leaky air vent, light fixture and lack of sealing around pipes. He gave estimates of their charges to fix these items, but applied no pressure to me to hire them. Overall I was very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

They were prompt-they called me for the appointment, which no other "deal" company has done. They were punctual and very professional, and offered constructive suggestions for overall energy conservation.

I thought they did a great job and the tech that came out was good. He came and hooked up a fan to the front door and sealed all the windows to measure the amount of leakage in the house. They went through and puttied stuff up as well as put on weather stripping and weather proofing. They showed me the difference in the amount of air that was leaking out of the house, which went down.

They were very professional. They are pretty much straight-forward with what they do.

We had previously paid for an HVAC company to come in and perform an Energy Audit and then work on sealing the leaks in our home in Florida. They did a complete job and changed out the light fixtures in the ceiling to seal the airflow. Energy Sheriff''s offer of an audit for $100 was a reasonably priced double-check of the first contractors work. Energy Sheriffs did a total review of the house and confirmed that we had gotten our money's worth from the first company. They didn't try to upsell us for services that we didn't need, and the review was exactly what we hoped it would be.

As the inspection progressed, and items were not energy efficient, they were noted and addressed in the work that was performed.

The service far exceeded our expectations. The house feels sealed tight, secure and efficient. I would definately recommend them and will call them back without hesitation!

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for weather stripping 2 exterior doors and home energy audit. The reason I bought the big deal was that I knew the weather stripping on my front door needed to be replaced, and just that project would probably have cost more than the Big Deal price. The service was incredible. First, the work done on my front door was outstanding. The energy audit (conducted by Sal) was comprehensive, very professionally done, well presented, and very helpful. I will likely have the Energy Sheriffs come back and repair the (few) areas identified which need sealing/caulking. In addition, Sal gave me other recommendations specific to my home which I can easily implement myself to reduce energy use.
