Tri County did an amazing job, removed many trees, ground all the remaining stumps, removed all trees, limbs, debris, and raked up the twigs and leaves and removed that too. Everything was right next to the house and they were able to do it all with minimal damage to the garden beds and no damage to the house, driveway, fencing. Staff was very polite and professional. They were done in about 3 days. Did a great job, didn't hurt my granddaddy oak with removing the large limbs, and I plan on calling them back in a couple of years to thin it out more, just didn't want to do too much to it all at once and risk damaging the tree. We would recommend them to anyone. Furthermore, we called three large tree companies we found online and on Angie's list and they were the only ones who responded in a timely manner. They called us back the same day we called them or the next, One of the other companies called us back 2 months later and the other never returned our call at all. I should have submitted this review sooner, thank you Tri County Tree Service!
Description of Work: Removed 1 huge tree, 3 large trees, limbed up a very large tree, taking 2 lower limbs off the size of 2 medium trees, removed giant limbs of a granddaddy oak from over the top of the house, and the back yard.

It was very good. They were really good, professional and really nice. They were prompt. They were on time and they stayed all day. The price was pretty expensive not because of them but just because it was expensive.

Our experience began with the estimate, we were impressed with the thoughtful appraisal and thorough plan and explanation of services needed. While the work was done the entire staff was efficient and courteous. The trees were huge and near the house, so we were concerned. The gentleman operating the lift and the chainsaw was amazing those tress came straight down like they were growing where they fell. No fear of any accident. The stumps were ground and holes filled. Debris removed and every last leaf was raked up and even some piles of leaves that were there before were cleaned up. They even cut some of the trunks for us to use as stools around our bonfire area. Efficient, courteous, professional. We will definitely call them again if we need them.

Description of Work: Removed two huge Water Oaks. The service went great. They did a good job in tight quarters and the cleanup was very good. I had used them a few years before to trim the trees. They trimmed it so that if they fell they would fall away from the house as well as barn and stock pond. There was a very narrow alley for the huge tree to fall but it fell right where it was suppose to fall. Because of that precise work, I hired them again to perform the cleanup which was done very thorough and efficiently.

Outstanding service. Very Professional. Had all the equipment he needed. His crew did a very good job cleaning up after themselves; removed the branches and trunks, raked up the excess leaves and branches that were laying on the ground and also raked the area where the stumps were ground down. Very reasonably priced. Just for me to rent the equipment for a day (stump grinder and bucket loader) would have cost me $500 not to mention it probably would have taken me more than a day. Tri-County got everything done and was gone in just over an hour. Very pleased. Will most definitely get them again for any tree work I need done.

Things went very well. Unfortunately BJ's heavy truck left large rut marks in my side yard. But overall things went well.
Description of Work: BJ and his crew took out 3 60 ft tall sweet gum trees that were close to my house and power lines. They also ground out the stumps. I had a rotted tree that had fallen just days before their arrival and they kindly cleaned that up for me at no charge.

BJ gave me an estimate on having one large live oak trimmed off the house and a water oak removed. I gave him a tight deadline and he had no problems taking care of both trees before the due date. His estimate was right on, the job was done professionally and he even removed a large pile of debris I had collected from trimmings at no additional charge. I am very happy with the service and will have him back to remove 4 other water oaks to close to the house.
Description of Work: Trimmed some branches off a large live oak that was hanging over the house and removed a water oak that was showing signs of damage and leaning toward the house.

We honestly did not want to cut this tree down. We had it trimmed twice in six years in an effort to save it. However, it was dying and its proximity to the house finally made it a priority to have it taken down. A very large limb had fallen from it earlier this year doing minor damage to the edge of our metal roof and the gutter. A slightly smaller limb fell in the yard while Irene was still deciding where it was going to go (fortunately not here). Hints taken! Tri-County, with an expert crew of four and the proper equipment to get the job done (cherry picker, dump truck with grappler, chain saws, stump grinder, ropes, rakes, shovels, etc.), arrived about 1:00 in the afternoon and by 4:30 (max) you could not even tell a tree had been there. They were very friendly and efficient and, when I asked, they nicely cut up several small limbs to fit in our fireplace for the winter (revenge on the tree!). They were very aware of the location of the tree in relationship to the patio and house and did a marvelous job of safely bringing the large upper limbs down and swinging them away from the house for the final drops. They cleaned up after themselves and even quickly blew all the pine needles off our entire patio for us (which was not related to the oak tree debris)! In the past couple of years we had a couple of other offers and estimates to take this tree down for a lesser cost but I was wary of the other companies' equipment availability and manpower to do the job. Since Tri-County had done the trimming on this tree before (in 2006 and 2008) and they did warn us of the eventual need to take it down I had no doubt they had the qualifications and equipment to get the job done safely and efficiently. Don't sacrifice quality work for a cheaper price if a large tree is near enough to damage your house or property. These people are worth it.
Description of Work: Removal of large (about 60') dying oak tree in back yard. Also ground tree stump and removed all debris.
