Arrived on time and got right to work. Did a very good job on both assignments. I would hire him again for sure!.

Had a full list of stuff to do at house.. Hired DHI for full day...Did everything from dry wall , hang bathroom fixtures, remove wall mirror and repair the wall, paint touch up.. very professional, very pleasant to deal with, work was first class, left no mess.. Had them back again week later to hang the new mirror to replace the one he removed earlier...did great job for difficult job...will use again, when my to do list grows.

It worked fine. He did a good job. He came on time and he left, and it was great. He did what he was supposed to do.

He asked me for details before he arrived, contacting me on site. Asked if date of work he proposed was ok . Sent him a list of work. He told me time of arrival and he would contact me on his way, which he did. went over items when he arrived and he completed them in timely manner. was very kind and professional! Would have him again.

I initially bought this deal because I got a new dishwasher and this deal for 3 hours of handyman service was almost as much as it would have cost to have the store install it for me and I knew I had issues with my sink too so decided to give this deal a try and get 2 birds with one stone. Lloyd called ahead of our scheduled appointment time to let me know he was running a little late but that was great for me because I hadn't been able to eat lunch yet so it gave me a few needed minutes and I was happy that he had called before the appointment time to let me know instead of calling when he was already late. In 3 hours he got the dishwasher installed and working, he did what he could with the sink but I didn't have the parts he needed to actually fix it correctly so he explained to me what parts I needed and what needed to be done so that I could fix it myself in the future which was really nice, I feel like most companies would have tried to sell me overpriced parts or tell me I should have them come back again to fix it because I shouldn't be trying to do it myself but he was very honest that it was something we could do on our own. After the sink I asked him to look at some duct work I was having issues with and he couldn't help me with that but only because the people who built the house made the problem and it had to do with how the ventilation area was built in the first place so nothing against his ability that it could not be worked on by him. I already had an idea that I might need my whole heating and air system rebuilt from scratch anyways. After that I completely forgot what else I had planned to ask him to work on so he scraped some old paint off on my front porch for me to prep it for painting and repair work that is going to be done at a future date and he did a very thorough job with that. I feel like Lloyd was very capable and knowledgeable in many areas of home repair. I only wish I had made a better list with projects I needed help with so I could have utilized his time better but I would certainly use this company again.

Water was pooling the backyard during heavy rains. All the way to my patio and underneath as well. Dixie Home Improvements took only two days to finish my project.

Lloyd contacted me prior to coming. He was professional, got to work right away and completed everything as promised. He was totally on point.

Lloyd was a great communicator prior to his visit he arrived right on time and was so amazing. He did all the jobs with great care but hurried from room to room to maximize his time. Lloyd is a conscientious and most helpful. He actually listens to what all you need done and does it or give you his honest opinion for alternative solution. I thought the windows needed caulking but he pointed out how cracked the glazing is and how big a job that would be, so I realized the need to finally plan for their replacement, which has been postpone way too long (most don't open and the ones that do are very difficult for me to crank, that is not good in case of fire). SECURITY LIGHT- I thought it needed a new bulb but he found that is was still good and after working on a while he got it working again. Previously when it worked it would always come on even in the daylight when I went in the carport, now it does the job it was intended for and only come on in the dark. Lloyd is a good worker, doesn't make a mess nor waste time. SATELITE DISH - I was so glad he was able to remove it so the gutter repair can be put on my next TO DO list. Lloyd got a lot accomplished in the 4 hrs. he was even kind enough to switch the blades in my box top cutters for me. You couldn't hire a better handyman to do repairs in your home. I would not hesitate calling when I grow my TO DO list again to make it worthwhile.

Lloyd did a great job. It is nice to have someone who can do so many different things. I will definitely have him back to do more jobs for me when I get all my supplies together. He was a very good worker.

He checked the old kitchen faucet, made sure it was a faucet problem & not something else; helped me in buying new faucets and installing it. He checked the light fixtures; one of them needed to replaced, which we ended up buying, and he installed it. He fixed the other light fixture (no need to replace). I feel he did a very thorough job. I am very happy with the job done. I would not hesitate to have him back again if necessary.

Dixie Home Improvement is a company I will definitely use again. Lloyd was punctual, and most important to me, called ahead to give me time to get my dogs settled in a secure space. Lloyd was very polite (as a senior citizen this is important to me). He answered questions I had not only about the work he was performing, but little projects I wanted to do myself. The excellent work he did was performed quickly and quietly. Lloyd is a professional that you can feel confident inviting into your home.

Lloyd was on time, extremely professional and has a very nice personality. He first repaired the front door frame and it looks brand new! Then he worked on the garage door frame- same thing! Our toilet was shifting- he corrected that next. Then he looked at light that wasn't working in closet- determined that it wasn't the bulb but the fixture was bad- at this point he was here longer than the 2 hours i paid for. He offered to go to Home Depot and pick up new fixture and repair closet light (of course for an additional fee- but was so kind and willing to finish the job!) Replaced the fixture and we have light! I already have a few things that I'd like to have done and will be contacting him tomorrow or by the first of next week- VERY impressed! Will definitely call him again!

Lloyd has a great customer-oriented attitude, taking on each different task with a positive, can-do approach. He works carefully to ensure each task is completed with my full approval. When we needed a new cover for one of the faucets, I told him I would buy one and put it on myself. After finding it harder than I thought, I called and he drove all the way back here to finish it! I highly recommend Lloyd for any household task you need done.
