OK, that happens. I paid the extra money for a "Amazing Job" to quote Steve. 2) Paid extra for paint correction and have scratches buffed out. They are still there, obvious as ever. OVER PROMISED: UNDER DELIVERED. 3) Missed a 12" x 8" section of Hood not touched at all. 4) Roof has new set of knee dents, courtesy of Steve climbing on roof. Yes, I saw you climbing on roof Steve! Thanks Buddy! 5) Entire right side of vehicle with swirl & hook marks in paint. It is NOT left over wax. They are testament to you rushing and poor technique. 6) He only cleaned right side of engine bay... 7) Every single wheel spoke area has missed dirt. 8) He "Double washed it and super detailed it" Direct quote from Steve. When the upholstery dried, the stains were still there. 9) Now, this is the worst part! I discovered he used a type of speedy detailer glossing solution everywhere. The vehicle looked all shiny and slick, UNTIL it dried. The next morning, the vehicle looked WORSE! Granted, it looked good at casual glance while still wet. What he did was camouflage and conceal his poor work, got paid, then hustled out. Steve's excuse was it was the "weather." It was too chilly and he accidentally left wax...UUUMMM OK agreed, Yes it was chilly and towards evening. Yes, the wax could have been "sticky." However, I don't see how the weather caused new knee dents; totally missed hood area; still present scratches paid to remove; 1/2 done engine bay; and just a vacuum job and wiped with Armour-all (or similar) coated interior. Weather, HUH? Basically, I got less than 1/2 of what was promised/hyped and paid for. He camouflaged his poor work and rushed job. Then he blames the weather and everything else. He takes zero responsibility for obviously missing, skipping; and poor workmanship. Trying to be reasonable, I offered a compromise 1/2 work for 1/2 pay. He refused a refund. I asked him to come back so I could show him the poor work. He arrives and demands to re-do the job. No refund. No Steve, I clearly said for you to bring 1/2 the money and review your poor work in person. He then tossed his gear in the truck and huffed off like a mad kid...with MY MONEY. When I was direct, honest, transparent, and clear with him about a review, he threatened me. If I wrote a bad review, "What goes around; comes around"...REALLY STEVE? Thankfully, you were smart enough to say that on the phone, not in person. Here is your review Steve. You can keep my money and your threats. What goes around; comes around Steve...right? Do NOT ever come around me, my shop or my vehicles again! Anybody wishing pictures to document my claims and concerns...feel free to email me direct captdon65@yahoo.com Ill happy to proving clear high resolution pictures of Steve's mediocre work at full price.
