Mr. Small Move, Inc.

I used Mr. Small Move for my relocation on 3/2/2017. They came highly recommended. I had them send someone over to give me a better idea what the price would be as everyone was quoting over the phone. I showed him everything I was moving. After reviewing all my in house quotes I chose them. The day before I decided to take a bedroom set that I originally was not taking. I called to make sure that would not be a problem and told it was OK. The truck showed up that morning on time. When I saw the truck I knew everything would not fit. The men agreed and called the office. They finally decided to send another truck with an additional 2 men to help finish the move. A move originally quoted for 6-8 hours 1 truck 2 men now became a 10 1/2 hr job, eventually 2 trucks and 2 more men. All the men were very professional and absolutely no complaints about them. I was then told the rate would change to $175.00 per hour when the other truck showed up. I was able to talk Danielle down to $150. an hour. So a quote from $1040.00 went to $1613.00. I called the office after the move and spoke to Mike the owner. He had the salesman call me and he told me that I must have added things to the move. I told him he was absurd. When I mentioned why 2 trucks did the men not know how to load the truck he said probably. BTW the guys have been working for them for years. Needless to say he said he would talk to his boss. I gave them a few more days and called Mike the owner. He was not available so I left a message for him to call me. I'm still waiting, hence this review.

Absolute Please to do business with. Dan the manager delivered on his promises. The men showed up exactly on time, they were neat, courteous & professional. They were moving a very large 600lb top heavy piece. They took care to protect my travertine floors with Masonite to prevent breakage. The job was completed quickly, without and scratches, nicks, dents or scrapes. Reasonably priced . I would recommend them to others.

It went very well. The men were very nice and helpful. I am very pleased with the results.

r disregard forrbThis started out well. I thought things would go smoothly as I was asured that there would be at least a 24 hour notice from long distance company and or the driver. This was my big concern and I asked this question at least 20 times when we were negotiating the move..To their credit the men that showed up were very pleasant and professional, but they were the only ones in this company that were. I was told to call on a Wed. for a timeline for delivery, and imagine the shock when we get a call on Tues. from the driver that he would be there in an hour!..people had to go to work..this should not be happening..now the buck is passed. Drivers fault or scheduleres. At this point I called Mr. Small Move and was transferred fron thead once nice, helpful woman i had dealt with to an arrogant, rude and nasty man who basically told me too bad and if no one is there they will put your stuff in a storage and you will have to pay for it..I could not believe the level of complete and utter disregard for the customer..DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY...

Move went well, but the employees were another matter. One was a felon who burgalarized an employees home. She felt violated and victimized all over again. She was shaking and in tears. Was tramatized. The other employee made lewd and lascivious comments to the female employees about thier bodies. With all the people looking for employment in our area one wonders why one would jeopardize thier business reputation with these risky and totally unprofesional employees.

The 2 young men arrived on time and ready to go, they were polite, careful with our household goods and fast. We had packed our own boxes and they were labeled but they asked again if anything inside was fragile. They had an hours drive after packing the truck, I left just before them. Even in the truck they were only 20 minutes behind me and arrived at our new house quickly. Unloading was done in an organized manner and everything went where it was supposed to go. The 2 young men, Pat and Dave, were truly excellent representatives of Mr Small Move.

My wife and I are both seniors and this was our first move in 29 years, from a sizable house to an apartment/condo. We had had a bad moving experience many years ago (not with a local firm), and knew no way in advance to seriously check out the movers here in VB. A day before we'd received a terribly expensive bid from a personally recommended local VB mover that others told us was ridiculous. We're on very limited funds so we decided to call another local out of the blue. We knew nothing about Mr. Small Move but they were willing to give us an estimate over the phone: 5-7 hours plus one for travel at $95/hour. We worried that they'd stick it to us the day of the move (which is what had happened before), but no. Not in any way. A crew of two very professional movers arrived with the truck exactly on time and, wasting no time, carefully loaded up their truck. This was not the easiest move since we lived on the second story of our two-floor house, the first floor having been my wife's art studio. All of this was up and down stairs, as we'd informed them on the phone. These men didn't loaf for a minute. They were professional and speedy, courteous and efficient, friendly, always ready to answer questions. They loaded up in about four hours, drove across town and unloaded in about the same time. The entire bill was a charge for eight hours at the $95 rate we had been quoted. Nothing added or inflated. We were very impressed. These guys earned an "A" in every quality category we could think of. If anyone asks us in the future about moving advice, we'll both of us have only one answer: Mr. Small Move. We haven't the slightest relationship with this firm or any of its people, who were complete strangers. We picked them out of the google line-up that resulted from searching for "Vero Beach movers." We were under the gun and didn't have time to check people out. That's Russian Roulette, but we were awfully lucky. We certainly found the right firm.

Took very special care with handling these pieces. The price I paid was less than their usual minimum charge, since there were only 4 chairs (no boxes or packing involved) and took very little time to make the transfer from one place to the other. I will definitely use them again in the future to move these chairs plus quite a bit of other furniture and boxes that I had Wheaton Van Lines ship to my storage unit in Vero Beach FL from my parents' home in western NC this past November 2013. All items will be moved into my home after I have some painting and repairs done in two rooms.

The movers were polite, professional, fast work, careful with my things. Nothing was too much to ask of them. The also moved my piano to a second story, no elevator. Very pleased with the quality of work

have tried to get moving quote from this vendor on two occasions and have gotten no response. Guess they don't need the business

This was supposed to be an hourly job and they asked to take a break but they charged me anyway for the breaks they took even though we had agreed that they would not. One of the workers had his pants hanging all the way down to his knees which was completely unprofessional. When they moved the furniture they left marks all over the walls in my house... I literally just got my house painted a few days ago and now it needs to be painted again. I called the office and spoke with the manager named Dan, he told me there was nothing I could do and that I should have taken out insurance. I requested that the owner, Mike Fox call me which he never did. I called a couple more times and they said he was busy or with another customer. They are obviously just avoiding me.

They where over 1 hour late getting to the storage unit and my wall unit was damaged. Which they denied.

they arrived on time as planned. They loaded a washer/dryer combo at my condo and brought it to the house that I was moving from. We arrived at the house and they loaded all of my very heavy furniture along with a new washer and dryer. They delivered it to the condo and were done in just a little over 2 hours!

Everything was done in a timely fashion. None of the furnishings were damaged during storage, and the deliver by the contracted moving company where delivered on time and in good condition.

They were professional, reasonable and they did a great job.

Mr.Small move made our extremely stressful moving day much easier! Aaron and Kevin were great, very professional and efficient. They worked so well as a team. I could not be happier with them! I will definitely be using them again for our next move.

I had used Mr. Small move before and called them when I needed to move a bedroom set I was giving my Mom. I called on December 3rd and they were able to do the move the next day! They arrived on time, picked up the furniture and delivered it 20 minutes later to my Mom in the next town. They set it up, moved a few other pieces for her, cleaned up and were gone! I would use this company for all my small, local moves! They are excellent.

The guys were friendly and worked pretty hard. They were professional. They did good quality work and nothing was damaged. However, the move took more than twice as long as we expected, and we finally had to call have a 2nd set of two guys come to help so we would finish up that night. They didn't move or pack any boxes - it was just furniture. Granted a couple of the beds needed to be taken apart and put back together, but we were surprised at how long it took them, especially with my husband helping them the whole day. We're really not sure why they took so long as they seemed to be working the whole time. It was frustrating to pay so much more money for this move across town than we had planned - especially since it was just the furniture as we did everything else ourselves in our cars.

We were very pleased with the service from Mr. Small Move. We were on a tight timeline and they were prompt, efficient and courteous. I would recommend them highly.

They are inexpensive and professional.

They get a flat $85 an hour for whatever they do, that's how they operate. You just pay for the time you use them. I liked the services.

My father was moving into an assisted living facility, and was taking selected items with him. I had done the packing, so it was an easier move. He then had to move to another ALF, and was moved by staff. Unfortunately he then passed away, and all the furniture and belongings had to come back to the original home. This time they did the packing. The movers on both occasions were pleasant, helpful, and professional. The company charges by the hour, and they moved quickly, and did not spend any longer than necessary. I found them very reasonable, and would definitely use them again.

They were great! The two gentlemen that helped us were punctual and did a fantastic job. They worked very hard, and were respectful of our belongings. We have many antiques, and not one thing was broken. We would definitely recommend their services to others.
