Lowe's - Store #0240

Previously I bought the top-of-the-line Larson storm door with retracting screen (great product) from Lowe's in Vero, where a neighbor in an identical unit had purchased and hung a similar door himself from Lowe's, and kidded me about being a fancy-guy for hiring Lowe's installer for $125. Apparently, the installer thought the same thing because when he arrived he told me it was a difficult install in a non-standard opening and it would cost an additional $95. I was annoyed but went along with it to get it done. It took him maybe two hours, and cost +/- $220. A year or so later, despite it having closers both top and bottom to reduce stress if wind ever caught it, the bottom ripped out. It turned out he had used short screws in the bottom closer. Now several years later buying a new place this week, I ordered the same door from Lowe's, assuming the last installer problem was an anomaly. The installer arrived on time but said the opening required a custom door which would fit exactly. Guess what? Despite being willing to pay a lot for the custom door that would fit exactly, Lowe's called to say their installer had to again charge an extra $100 because it was a custom door!

They are fabulous they have been helpful to me and helped explain how to use or repair different things. I have been very satisfied with every Lowe's that I have gone to in my area.

The staffs are friendly. The store is very organized. I can easily find the things I am looking for. They carry a lot of items.
