Description of Work: I contracted with Lion's Help to do a partial re-sodding of my front lawn. This is a small husband and wife company. The wife handles the appointments and paperwork and the husband, Marcus does the sweating; and sweat he did! I've never seen someone work so hard in my life. There was some miscommunication in the beginning which resulted in an insufficient quantity of sod being delivered. It required 3 pallets instead of 2. Marcus tried to re-position the pieces but it became clear that more was needed. The additional pallet was delivered and installed 2 days later. The quality of the sod was good. Between that time some low-life thief came in the night and stole several pieces of sod. I don't blame Lion's Help for any person's lack of character but I think if was possible that my property was targeted because it was obviously unfinished. | |At any rate I place more importance on how a company handles mistakes than the mistake itself, because mistakes happen. Throughout the entire transaction both Marcus and his wife were courteous and professional. He worked tirelessly in the blistering heat until the job was completed and left the property clean. His wife always kept me informed if he was running late which I greatly appreciated. I am planning to re sod the rest of my lawn this fall and I would re hire Lion's Help to do the work.

Description of Work: Trimmed 2 Elms and thinned out a huge oak tree- and hauled it all away

Description of Work: Removed a dead tree, trimmed two others. |This was a rental unit so they were very sensitive to the importance of a clean work site and the tenant. Were very flexible on scheduling. |Will use again when needed.

Description of Work: I was so hopeful as I really liked the owners, but the tree work they did, once they finally came out to do it, was a half job at best and getting response from them is completely frustrating. Feel like we were taken advantage of.

Description of Work: Primarily tree trimming. Although there was a scheduling glitch, they handled it extremely professionally and kept me informed each step of the way. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Disappointing and unreliable. They had every excuse one could come up with but the bottom line is "don't take on a job you aren't going to do". They never came after the first person, Marcus, came and checked out the trees. he said it would take a lift and would be available in two weeks. That was January (end of) and by end of April I was still waiting. Weather, other jobs went too late, sprinkler broke and delayed coming her, more excuses about the lift and cost of renting it. All not my fault. Don't over bid your abilities.

Description of Work: Hired to trim branches in front my house mostly. Had to wait 2-3 weeks before they could do my job. After long delay, the job was done to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: Marcus was wonderful. He listened to what I wanted cleared and got right to work. After completing the work, he took me on a "tour" to show me the completed work and to make sure I was satisfied with what he had done. I would definitely call Marcus again!!!!

Description of Work: They did a god job on the large tree limbs, but then did not work on a palm tree we had talked about. Instead they trimmed a neighbor's tree, despite my telling them it was not my tree. Also, they promised to return in about two weeks to grind an old stump, so I called them in about three weeks and they said they'd be out soon. Not so far.

Description of Work: I had my oak tree trimmed since it was hitting the roof of my house. |The appointment for consultation was made immediately and Malcolm was on time. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. The service was prompt, well done, and easy on the pocket.

Description of Work: The professionalism and service provided could not have been better. They did outstanding work with trimming and taking down 2 dead trees. They didn't stop until everything was picked up and sidewalks and driveways were blown clean. The scheduling of the work and communication on arrival time was excellent. It is difficult to find the go to company for a service and I have just found my "go to" company for Land and Tree service. Great Job! |

Description of Work: I had a tree fall in the middle of the night in my backyard. I have used Marcus once before and was very happy with him. He came out on short notice and removed the tree and cleaned up after he was finished. Great job!! Thanks for the rapid response.
